The L Word: It's Kind of Like Marmite
Mar 04, 2021•46 min•Season 1Ep. 16
Episode description
This week we’re discussing The L Word created by Ilene Chaiken. Most people will have watched The L Word at some point in their life. It follows a group of wlw living in LA, while their talking, laughing, loving, breathing, fighting, fucking, crying, drinking, riding, winning, losing, cheating, kissing, thinking, dreaming because this is the way that they live.
We discuss the difference in views between 2004-09 and now, this show is sadly riddled with biphobia and transphobia, and with the reboot we have high hopes they will fix their wrongs. It’s strange to see straight people be the minority, but we have seen no other show like it.
*SPOILER ALERT* We discuss the main storylines of each season and our favourite episode/season. As well as our favourite characters of them all. From season 5 supremacy to the disaster that is season 3.
At this point Becca hadn’t watched the Gen Q reboot, so she makes her predictions of where she thinks everyone will be in 10 years’ time.
