In this episode I have a great conversation with Nicki Steinman who shares her perspective an insights, both the positive and some of the hardships of military life as a spouse. Nicki was born and raised in southern Wisconsin. She is married to SFC Jeff Steinman and has been living the Army lifestyle for the last 13 years. During this time, Nicki became an RDA ( registered dental assistant) and is continuing her education in psychology where she has aspirations of becoming a dental coach consultant.
She discusses balancing the demands of the military while maintaining her career and gives her perspectives and insights on the challenges associated with maintaining balance. She candidly describes some of the challenges with her marriage and how her and Jeff have hit rock bottom and what they are doing to deepen and strengthen their relationship.
At the very end of the podcast, Jeff comes on and discusses his perspectives of recruiting and he provides some of his insights on maintaining work/life balance in a demanding career.
