But uncertainty leads to irrational behavior and panic. Without a timeframe to plan around, businesses will begin folding in massive numbers. Government bailouts won’t be enough, and frankly how long can government fund a shuttered economy? The CDC and other medical entities suggest self-quarantining may be necessary for many more months. The CDC also recommends you not smoke, drink, or be overweight among other health practices we choose not to adhere to. It’s time to set a timeframe before there is no economy to come back to!
