Motherland (Summer 2020)

My Summer 2020 installment “Motherland” includes summer bops like “Watermelon Sugar”, “One Margarita” , “Sour Candy”. “Heart To Break” , “Be Kind”, and “Secrets.” I decided to highlight the return to disco that house music is experiencing now ! “100 Degrees”, “I Remember” and “Let’s Dance (Pump It Up)” will sound familiar…. Some songs have gotten the 2020 treatment such as “The Boss” and “Free”. As a sign of the times and in support of the BLM movement… I open the project with “Black Parade” by Beyonce and close the mix with “For What It’s Worth” by Billy Porter.
