Episode description

Rarely do I listen to an album that I’ve loved every single track of and once on my cd deck it rarely comes off, this is one of them. All tracks are from the album “Walking through” by the Kaya Project. Its missing one track not because it wasn’t any good, because I just couldn’t find a place for it. If you like this mix please buy the Album this man has some serious talent. A bit about who’s behind the Kaya Project. ‘Walking through’, kaya project’s debut cd, is a downtempo fusion of cutting-edge beats… …organic electronica and diverse sounds and vocals from hawaii, india, the middle east and europe. Kaya project is the latest musical incarnation from seb taylor, who has released as shakta, digitalis and is also a co-founder of angel tears. self-taught on the guitar, flute and cello, at age 16 seb heard the album ‘ songs from the victorious city’, a collaboration between anne dudley and jaz coleman (killing joke), and became fascinated with the fusion of middle eastern music and western production.
