Today Amy Wright gets to chat with Bill Payne, the Waco, Texas native who, along with Lowell George, co-founded the legendary and incomparable rock band Little Feat. When it comes to piano and organ work and the mix of genres that are rock, blues, funk and jazz, no one does it quite like Bill Payne.  Outside of Little Feat, Payne has also recorded and worked with J.J. Cale, Jimmy Buffett, The Doobie Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Pink Floyd, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt and countless others. A shockingly impressive list of artists, for sure.
