Episode description

Dr. Martin Luther King said “In a real sense all life is inter-related. All men are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” This is true now more than ever. The COVID-19 is brought to these prisoners and then they spread it to not only other prisoners but to the guards, nurses and health care workers that work in the prison. Then, of course, the workers pass it back to the communities they live in. Overcrowded prisons make social distancing impossible. Solving the injustice of mass incarceration is tied to all of our fates now.
