Episode description

Ralph Yeager parachuted over Sicily in WWII, and was a mess sergeant during the Battle of the Bulge, among a number of other experiences he had while serving in the Army. Now 95 years old, Merrifield resident Yeager sat down with Brainerd Dispatch reporter Zach Kayser in 2015 for a story we ran in a September edition of the newspaper.

We bring you excerpts from his interview on Memorial Day weekend, in honor of the soldiers Yeager served with who lost their lives.
