In this episode, I explore the concepts of relevance and pressure in dog training. I discuss how relevance, or assigning importance to certain things, lays the foundation for effective training, especially when raising a puppy or welcoming a new dog. It’s easy to give too much importance to things that aren’t crucial, so balance is key. I also talk about pressure and the importance of being mindful about how and when we apply it, ensuring it supports learning without overwhelming our dogs.
