Episode description

If you have had shingles you know how painful it can be. It is a rash that begins as a cluster of small red spots that usually blister. Often times people get shingles around their waist or near the nerve by the eye. Shingles is very painful and often it lasts for several weeks. Its cause is most often blamed on stress, but did you know that what you’re eating can trigger a shingles outbreak as well? Listen in as hosts Darlene Kvist, Katie Vigesaa and JoAnn Ridout talk about a shingles prevention plan.
