Intro

I've been talking about is doing challenges. I'm all in. Let's do this. What do we is it is of? Course, the way you said that, now I have that song stuck in my head. It's black is white. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if you're black or white. Challenge or bro. Why are you mad, bro? Damn, you think you got something? Come on, Steve.

Hey everybody, welcome to this episode of the Disc Golf Answer, Man. I am Bobby Cool Daddy's Lick breeze and I have with me Eric McCabe. Did you even go fishing this weekend? No nickname I know, couldn't think of anything. Thanks. But I knew, may you're a fisherman or an angler? I angler. I'm gonna. Have you seen that guy on reels? I'm an angler. You should look it up. People out there know what I'm talking about. Yes, I did. I did go fishing on Sunday.

Sunday morning I went out. No, I took the boat out and it was a beautiful day. Did you catch anything? I did, I caught some, mainly just some crappie. Oh, very cool. It was a good day.

Portland trip recap

Well, I just got back from Portland, OR. I was at the Northwest Disc Golf Championship and I got to tell you, it was amazing. It was awesome being back at the tournament scene, seeing a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a long time, players, the some fans and just, you know, business people. I got to talk to 1010 Dish Disk. That was awesome. So yeah, had a really good time and that course is amazing. Which one? The Well, Milo for sure out in the park.

Milo is my all time favorite. Yeah. It's like one of my favorite places to play when when I was on tour, Beaver State Fling was always something I look forward to. And Milo McIver is, it's just so. Beautiful. Now, did you look at the the layout of the course? Did it change much since you've played it? Before did, because it was, it was like a tweaked version.

I believe they, they even potentially did a little bit of east and West 'cause when I used to play it, there used to be two courses on property, 218 hole courses on property. So, yeah, it, it definitely changed a little bit, but there was a lot of the, the normal holes that I was used to the, the gene, the final hole there, the genius hole has always been a hole, but it was two holes in one. Oh, wow. This year now it's like 2 holes

in one. Used to just threw out the gap and then the basket was down at the bottom of the hill. But man, that place, I have a lot of great, great memories of, of Milo. Yeah. I was walking around filming the players and every now and then I'd look up in the trees and I'd be like, oh, I'm supposed to be filming a disc golf tournament because it was just, it was just beautiful. And then Glenn Devere was a very

nice course as well. Beautiful trees, a pretty cool finishing hole with the crowd being able to watch. Yeah, that's pretty nice. So let's see. I've already really spoiled it on the disc golf anthem and Facebook group, so I don't know. Spoiled what? Spoiled the ending. You can't spoil it. I know. No spoils. No Spoils. No. There's no spoilers in sports anymore, right? Right. Like, I mean, come on.

Like especially now, like I get that, like the argument 10 years ago when we were doing this, like I could see that, but like, no. Not anymore. Well, I will say that when I made a post about it on the Facebook group, I didn't say exactly what it was, but I noticed I saw the post, Right. I I But before, if I had done something like that, the backlash would have been crazy. Yeah. Like, oh, my God, here you're spoiling. But I think people have started

to learn. But what did you think of the ending? I gasped. Dude, I tell you, you could feel that. The air just. It was. My heart hurts, yes, for Anthony, it was hurts for AB. I mean, I, I know what it's like to be on the last hole with a lead and then lose like every professional has done that before, you know? But to do it at that level, oh man, it's just. And then I guarantee I feel bad for him 'cause you know, he's gonna think about this one for a

while. I mean, there are there's people like some good points there were on hole 18. There were some mistakes by both of them. But that's just the game, right? I mean, you could look back at. I mean, anyway, you can look at every. Poll they play. Putt right, right. It's just crazy that and, and I was filming the crowd 'cause I did a little like a little vlog of us being there for the tournament and I wanted to capture the final moments, 'cause I knew it was kind of close.

And I'm just in the back of the crowd filming it. And I'm thinking when he, I went to KC White, I was like, hey, where they at? Where they at? What happens now if AB makes that putt and he goes, they'll be at a playoff if he makes the putt, But if he misses it, then it's cannon. So I was like, Oh my gosh. So I'm filming it. And he and I, I was at an angle where I saw the the disc hit the basket. I heard the change. And in my mind I thought, Oh my

God, a playoff. And then all of a sudden I heard everybody. Oh, no. And I was like, what just happened? Oh God, it fell out the sun. I was like, oh, I, I couldn't see it. And then everybody was just, yeah, it's crazy. Yeah, it sounds like it's it 5050 is what people are online thinking like, oh, there's a spit out all that baskets terrible. And then the other half is like, no, that putt was right.

You know, I think even Gannon said he thought that the putt was a touch right on on an elevated basket. They just don't catch on that side like that to me. I watched it a handful of times and I don't think it was a true spit out. I think it was one of those fifty 50s that you throw it up that particular spot on any basket in my opinion is a 5050. There's there's a chance it's going to catch it, but you may get pushed out the side as well,

especially when it's elevated. Even some of the players at the end, as I was waiting to congratulate Gannon, they were over there talking about it, like replaying it, showing people where it hit. And it was just one of those. It just. Yeah, you. Just hate that it has to end like that, right? I mean, even if it's close, you hate that. It has to be, you know, questionable, I guess. So, but congratulations to Gannon on the MPO side and congratulations to Holland on the FPO.

She played well, Yeah. She she like has historically been known to not fall apart. I wouldn't say, but like, you know, maybe let the nerves get the best of her. But at one point during that round, I think she only had a 2 stroke lead and she ended up pulling away. Oh really pretty well. So it was it was pretty cool Watch I I definitely watched majority of the coverage on the weekend, at least to to just yeah on disc golf network.

So I'm gonna watch a little bit. Of it so So I got to talk to some of our players. Ty Love, Robert Burridge, Parker Welk and Raven Klein. Good group of people I, I've had known Raven from before I had heard of the other guys but hadn't really talked to them but it was fantastic to be able to talk to them, get to know them more.

So make sure you're subscribed on the YouTube channel cuz when I put out that little disc golf adventure, you'll get to learn a little bit more about them as well so it'll be fun yeah good stuff All right so we have a lot of questions but right before we

How to submit questions

get into the questions, oh you might be asking here's my question. How do I send in a question? Oh, you can go to discgolfanswerman.com and you'll see a link to submit your questions and you'll see links to the video feed and than the audio feed. Now some of you have been asking, hey Bobby, how come I'm not getting my RSS feed for audio? They're not able to find the show.

OK, so whether this was a good idea or bad idea, what I did, so when I left the dynamic disc, I created my own feed. That was the disc golf answer, man. Then I was doing something a little bit different and decided to kind of rebrand and went with Cool Daddy Disc Golf. So that's has its own podcast. Now that I'm back, I went ahead and put the disc golf Ant man on the feed of the under stable mind podcast that you had guys had going out.

So it is kind of weird to find it, but you should be able to search disc golf Antriman and should be able to find this feed on there. But if not, you can go to the.com and should be able to find the links there to to be able to subscribe on audio if you want. Fantastic. Yeah. So again, right before we get to the questions though, it looks like you have a few disks on there you wanna talk about. I have a couple of them over here, technically just two because these are these deputies.

Lucid Moonshine Deputy

Listen to that. Does that sound good to you? Everybody home. Not bad. We'll figure that out. Bad. So today, today we have these color moonshine deputies, Lucid plastic. They're not deputies, deputies. Those are the favors. Of the deputies, they got a cool little astronaut in space. I think this particular stamp is called Time Hop. Oh, not sure why, but it's Time Hop. Sorry guys. You're gonna get used to that time. Hop. It's it's pretty cool, though.

I I you threw the deputy when you were here, did you ever throw it in premium plastic? I know that they were like they were more rare yes in the premium. I know we did a run of lucids at one point, maybe even fusion. I don't remember seeing too many fusions but the lucid ones I know are very popular. It's more of a hyzer flip disc. Pretty dead straight type of a flight right? Yes you like it. I like the. Deputy. I like the deputy.

Now to be fair, I haven't thrown many of the discs at all, so I got to re re get used to these discs. That's true. Deputy was my favorite. Putter go go film something with these. We're gonna film. We're gonna film a series where it's gonna be, Hey, what should Bobby throw? OK, I like that. Hey, what should Bobby throw? What should Bobby throw? So these deputies, they released today actually as we're recording this, which is the third on B to B, sorry. Wholesale this.

Is just wholesale today and then on the 19th of June these are gonna be available for D to C or at dynamicdiscs.com. They feel good. That's for. Sure they do. People have been asking for some premium deputies, so pick one of these bad. And that was a glow one. They all are. I'm stupid. Color moonshine. Color moonshine, even. Those guys, how long I've been out of the I need to do a video, so we have.

Blue, just so you, you know, audio listeners, we have blue, yellow and your normal, you know, white glow, whatever you want to call that. Next up is something I am kind

Worlds Best Dad DyeMax Coloring Book Vandal

of pretty excited about, at least the series of them. These are on Vandals. This releases this coming Thursday, which is the 5th of June and they are on Vandals, as I mentioned, but it is a Father's Day gift and it is part of our coloring book series. So any moms out there listening that want to get their husband something, this is the perfect thing. Buy this disc, get it now, have your kid color it. It could be, you know, personalized, however you want to do it.

I, I just think that the coloring book series is something pretty cool. We've got a handful of different molds and different designs on, on our website now. And we wanted to do something special for the dads because we did something special for the moms last month. So Father's Day gift, pretty easy.

What do you use the color Thursday Sharpies or so I have a when we first had the idea where we first started doing this, we ran some samples and I did it with sharpies like color Sharpies, which is permanent obviously. And then I used dry erase markers on it and when it dried, it was like on there. I couldn't wipe it off after it was dry, but I ran it underwater instantly gone just so like it

could be redone again. So if you're looking to do this and you want to, if you have multiple kids or whatever you want to do it multiple times, the what do they call a dry erase? Markers work the best for that. But sharpies are pretty cool too because it's more permanent. So you go and you said June 5th. June 5th this Thursday. That way you get in time for Father's Day. That's right. Perfect. All right. Let's jump into the questions.

Thanks so much everybody for sending in your questions. This first one is from Mac Attack. What a Mac attack? Mac attack.

Why isn't the EMAC in Classic Hybrid?

He asks, since Classic Hybrid is considered the best base plastic from Dynamic Discs, why is it the E Mac Judge made in it, as well as some other plastic or putters in your lineup? Well, Mac Attack it is actually available in Classic Hybrid. Well, that's an easy answer. The the first runs or the protos that we'd put out, we put those out in classic hybrid. They were black and they were white. We haven't done them in since then since they came out.

So maybe I'll just make a note real quick to to add some of these to the production schedule. OK, there you go. I mean, it's that easy, right? You want to see something done, you just ask it right here on disc golf. Answer, man. There you go. Of course, the way you said that, now I have that song stuck in my head. It's black, is white. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It doesn't matter it. Doesn't matter if you're black

or white. Bonus points if in the comments you tell us who sing that I. Almost said. I almost said. It don't. Glad I didn't. Let's see what people say, see if they can get. To know that one right I. Don't know, we'll see. Next one is from PRL. I throw about 280 feet backhand into 20 forehand.

Disc recommendations for hyper backhand and anhyzer forehand

I tend to throw heiser backhand and anheuser forehand. Any tips for a good disk? Oh, so throwing around 280 feet, man, a handful. This is like this is in your ballpark kinda. I mean it's pretty close to where you're throwing kinda and the the two discs that come to mind instantly. I throw farther, but yeah, well. It's in. It's in your realm. I know it's it's in your. Yeah, the two discs that do come to mind are the Escape. Yes, real, relatively straight,

nice. It'll probably be have a great finish for you. And then the Vandal, the Vandal's something I just, I can't, I can't preach that enough that the Vandal is a disc that in my opinion everybody should have in their bag from top players for rolling to beginners to advanced level players for wooded shots, for point and shoot type of a fairway vandal. I definitely do a forehand with the escape.

I've never tried the vandal. I don't know if the forehand would works as well for a vandal to put more stick with the escape. How does the escape fly as a forehand for you like this? Oh well then maybe you should try the vandal if the escape is doing. That no, it goes nice and it actually goes nice and straight and can I can, I know a lot of people say control, you know, it's a controllable whatever, but it does feel like it's controllable. I'll be honest.

Oh, please do. I will be honest, I've played numerous rounds of disc golf with Bobby Cooled out of slipperies. I don't know that I have ever seen you throw a forehand. Really. I don't throw forehands a lot. I don't know that I've ever seen you throw a. I don't throw them a lot, but when I do it is the escape and it does. It is one that people have said, oh, you can't throw a forehand. Maybe we should do a Bobby versus Emac forehand challenge

video sometime 'cause you're. Coming up with all the challenges by the way, let's do it. We haven't heard from you, Latitude. That's. Right, 'cause they're. 64 so anyway, so yeah, we'll have to do that so we can see who can actually do the best on the forehand but so they. Can see who can. Mess up their shoulder and elbow, yeah. More ice on their shoulder that evening, so. So the van knows better for the backhand, the escape better for your. Forehand if you're throwing those distance.

Perfect. All right. Next one is from Kyle. With the addition of the heist, treason and motive filling gaps on the under stable side of the dynamic lineup this year, are there plans to explore more over stable discs next year? Thank you Disco fans man. It's a good question. I I mean, I'll be, I'll just be Frank. I haven't really. I'll be Teds. OK. Frank and Ted, I I haven't really considered next year. You know, we haven't really thought that far ahead.

I think, I think right now we're just kind of focusing on the moment and and you know, that doesn't mean we can't be considering this stuff here very soon, which you know, we're already halfway through this year. So it is time to start processing beginning of of quarter one next year and seeing what molds we want to release

and all that. I don't know that with kind of the direction dynamic is going, if we if we want or need to have an emphasis on like, like for instance, you said this year we came out with three. I'd say 2 for sure under stable molds. I wouldn't consider the Heist an under stable mold. I'd say for some people, yes, but majority of people it's not under stable by any means.

And the direction that dynamic is going, I don't know that we necessarily need to come out with three overstable molds, right. I mean, when we already kind of have the, what do we have right now that's overstable. We've got the general that's overstable. We've got the enforcer, the defender. I mean the trespass is overstable for a lot of people.

So not to say that no, we won't focus on overstable disks in the future, but I doubt that you'll see multiple overstable molds come out in the calendar year from us. Is that fair? Yeah, that's fair all.

How do we feel about open challenges?

Right. Let's go to Steven, Bobby and Emac. How do you guys feel about open challenges, whether it's Double S Bobby, Emac versus the Double S team or singles Bobby versus Emac versus player? I mean. Brilliant. I don't think we really. Want to do challenges? Why? I mean, it's all I've been talking about is doing challenges. I'm all in. Let's do this. What do we is it is Steven like? Are you challenging? Us or are we talking about the latitude challenge or?

Bro why are you mad bro Dang. Dude. You think you think you got something? Come on, Steven. No. I think, I think we're both all about it and I think it's it's what we used to do. Yeah, so we're going to do more. Like we were talking before we started recording a trilogy challenge. It was me, Eric and Jackie. We did a little trilogy challenge, added some fun shots to it and a fun little reward at the end for whoever lost.

I guess it's not AI. Guess it's a reward for the other people, not for the person that lost. Well. The the the loser had to pay for something to say that. And so we have other things in plan in mind. I just, I took off to Portland and now it's raining out here in the home of Kansas. Two inches of rain in like 2 hours. Yeah, it was flooded. I I drove by the old warehouse and I about got pushed off the road. I didn't realize it flooded so bad over.

There. Well, it usually doesn't, but when it rains as much, I drove through Jones Park on the way home. Yeah, you know, the little ditch that kind of goes through all of it. It's like just raging river over there. I know Pan is probably underwater. So we're not, we're definitely not doing any filming today. And maybe I don't know about the. Rest of the week, well, maybe we could do some indoor stuff. That's what I'm thinking. We'll have to do some indoor

Will we do live DGAM?

challenges. So all right, Dachshund wants to know any chance we will get live shows with Chad again. So that was always the the the talk before it was like the talk of the town, the talk of the town, everybody in Hollywood talking about live the live disc golf Ant man. I'm not a huge fan of doing this format live. Now I have my reasons, but I don't know that we're ever go

back to disc golf Ant man live. But one thing that I used to do on Instagram Live would be like updates on what's happening, what we're getting in, what's happening at the warehouse, along with after hours at the warehouse. So I did one a couple weeks ago where I just sat at my desk and talked about things going on. It allowed people to ask

questions. We did that too when we when we did the, we did it on Instagram. Oh yeah, we did on Instagram, Yeah. But I think what we do going forward, and I was actually going to ask you, so I ask you on air, oh, what are you doing tomorrow morning? Let me check my calendar again. If you're not busy, we could do that where it's just a relax, you know what time you know, I don't know. Let's see. I have a meeting at 8:00 AMI. Have a meeting at 9:00 AM. So maybe at 10 AM. Sure.

Or you. Oh, wait, I'm in your meeting at 9:00 AM. You're in my meeting at 9:00 AM. We have, we have our meeting tomorrow morning and then we have our other meeting at 9:45 and then I have a meeting at 10. I'm free after 11:45. OK, so maybe sometime it would be a luncheon, maybe lunch with the emac and Bobby.

I like that. So, and we can do, we'll do a live where it's not scripted, you know, well, maybe we'll have some topics, talk about what we're going to play around, see what it's, see what it, what we do as far as talking live, I feel like. Those lives are more about what's going on in dynamic. Yeah. And not necessarily like the disc golf Answer Man concert. Yeah, Right. Yeah. So will this show ever go live again? I wouldn't say never. Never, but.

But that's not the plan for. Right, Right. And we probably, we probably wouldn't be sitting at the desk. We might be like out in the warehouse sitting somewhere talking. So like. On a rafter. I don't want to die, but yeah. Maybe on a forklift? We could do it on the forklift. Are you certified? No, I used to be when I was in the Marine Corps. Can't do that. No. All right. Next one is from Andrew. What are the different types of practice you would do in a given month?

Different types of practices

Straight versus Heiser Dr. versus upshots, hitting gaps versus landing zones. Good Lord. Backhand, forehand, overhand, putters, mid the Airways, flippy, neutral BP it seems are endless potential combinations like going to the gym. There are so many ways to work out. That's fair. Totally. So what works for you? When you would do out? When you would go out and like

practice for tournaments. Like, well, for me, when I would practice for certain events, it depends on the event too, obviously, but a lot of it was just working on the course, getting to know the course that I'm playing now.

That's for tournaments. Now, if I'm just trying to work on my game and get better, I'll make a list of things that I'm struggling with, like from a certain, like if I'll go play a tournament or a league or just a casual round or whatever, I'll take notes on things or I would, I don't really do this anymore, but I would take notes on man my, my approaches were struggling this week, you know, and then the next week I'll

spend working on approaches. So go to the field or I, I, I like the field, but I like doing a lot of my practice on the course. And I'm fortunate enough to be in Emporia where I could go and have the course to myself, you know, or let a couple people play through here and there. But because we have so many courses, it's just, there's not as many disc golfers, just courses, I think in Victoria.

But so I like to do a lot of mine on, on, on on course practice where I'm throwing approaches or just putting or throwing back and forth between a couple baskets with my ESU team. I have an actual regimen that I give them, field work regimen that I I force them to do. Well, I guess force them sounds weird, but. Do you make them do push ups or something if they don't? Run laps if you don't do this or that for Dang right for sure. Clean the baskets with the toothbrush.

I clean everything. No, we do we have I make I've 200 putts a day mandatory a day, every single day. I want to see you 200 putts a day and then field work like work on different angles. If it's hyzers into a basket, four hands turnover, straight shots distance. Now the 200 putts today a day, is it like from the same spot, No different spots, just as long as you're putting, putting it in the basket. As long as you throw 200 putts, you don't even have to make 200 putts.

It's just make sure you get that repetition down is really what that's about for me. And we saw a lot of great improvement from players this year from that regimen that we put together. And the last thing we do is weekly rounds where you have to find someone else on the team and go challenge them to a round and go out and play and keep score like it's an actual tournament. So no throwing two shots off the hole just 'cause you think it's a cool hole doesn't mean you should throw multiples.

You know, you got to treat it like it's an actual tournament. Cause what happens when you don't? You start to throw multiples and then you start picking up your bad shots and playing from the good ones. So if you want to go out, that's something I as long as this question is going to go on forever. But the other thing there is there's so much. The other thing I used to really like to do is go and play rounds and throw 2 discs off every tee. But play my worst shot I was.

Scared to say that because remember, that was something you used to talk about. Yeah. Play your worst shot in and then try to beat that score week, week in and week out until you have a a good regimen down where it's like, man, both of these are really good. Which one do I have to take? You know, but that's that's something that I recommend for players.

I kind of like how we put it together, though, where like, let's say you're going to go on an afternoon, You're like, OK, I'm gonna, I'm gonna practice basically straight shots versus hyzer shots. Totally. I mean, that sounds great. And then like I like where he says hitting gaps or landing zones. Like you're gonna practice those two things to concentrate on.

I'll stick to. It don't, don't be all over the place, like find something that you want to really focus on, like whatever you're struggling with that week, that's something you really need to focus on during your regimen. Biggest thing is being intentional. Yes, that's another thing we used to preach a lot is like, yes, it's fun to go throw around at your favorite course, but you have to be intentional about getting out and practicing. Eric asks a question, not you. Yeah, I asked this.

Will we do anymore stadium experiences?

Oh, you did? I did. Oh, this is you. OK. This is me, Art. Well, I could see why it would be. Yes. Is there any talk or plans to bring back the stadium experience? They always seem like they were. Would be a great time. I would also suggest the JMA Wireless. Syracuse, I think. Is that what he's talking about? Yeah, it's in Syracuse. Oh, OK. So, oh, whoa, there's a lot more

to the question. Yeah, there's Dome at Syracuse University in the Bills Highmark Stadium when it was brought up or posted and was always teased with. Some things are in the works, but the stadium experience seems to be gone by the wayside. If there are future plans, I am once again suggesting both places. Syracuse University's JMA Wireless Dome would be a great offseason winter spot to hold one, and the Bills High Mark Stadium would be a great summer outdoor spot, especially with

their new stadium being built. When was the last one? The last one we did was Arrowhead. We did them back-to-back years. Three years ago was the last one we did at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. Was I at that one? Three years ago. Not that one. You weren't the first one, I think. Right. You've been to Arrowhead, right? You went to the first. One we did a will it Heiser that's. Right. We did a football will it Heiser. Yeah.

And then the next year, I think we did it again the following year at Arrowhead again and they started winning Super Bowls and got really expensive. I don't know. I I'll take that over that I I don't know. No, I don't know. I don't, you know, I don't, I, I haven't heard. Now keep in mind renting a stadium is not cheap and the price hasn't come down since we used to do this. And I'll be honest, there may have been one ever that we actually like profited on.

You know, I think we lose, lost a lot of money doing those stadium events, but we, we, we treated those stadium events as marketing right and, and reaching out to like. So who knows, maybe we will do it again at some point. But you know, one of our best ones was Denver. Yeah, it was, it was a really good one. The the Mile High Club came out of like, yeah, they, they really helped out with that event. That's the thing.

You got to remember it. It's tough to travel to say, Buffalo, NY or Syracuse, NY when we're the ones traveling there to do it. And it takes a, a monster team to do that. So it's, it's really, that's why Kansas City was so successful. Denver was successful, Dallas was successful because those are all like 6 hour drives with the exception Kansas City, which is just up the road. But I don't know that we'll do them again.

I would love to do them again because I may be the only one that's been to every single stadium experience that we've hosted. That's still here, yeah. Yeah, I think so. Some of my favorite ones, obviously, was Denver was a lot of fun.

Dallas is always a blast. Dallas is always fun because it's always so stinking hot outside, but Jerry keeps his house at 72° and and for whatever reason, we always had more freedom at AT&T Stadium. Like you just go wherever you wanted to go. There was like nobody like, hey, you can't go this way. You can't go that way. Just go and, and I, I always remember that being pretty special. And who knows? I, I, I maybe we'll do them again.

I don't think there's anything on the radar currently like to plans to do them, but that doesn't mean that we won't do them. I remember the rain at the Titan Stadium. Tennessee, that's all it did is I remember Jay Ray just dumping buckets of, of water out of his disc pins and, and yeah, it was pretty miss that was the that was like the only time we had bad weather during a stadium experience. Yeah. And then I think we kept making remarks.

Oh my God, the next one, we're going to go through a covered Dome. We're not going to do open and then whatever. But and then I also remember the the DJ was playing music over the loud speakers or whatever and he started only playing rain and storm related. Salt like November rain. And Thunder, Imagine Dragons and everything had some something to do with rain or storms. That was hilarious. All right, let's jump to Tommy.

What is the future for the Dynamic Discs General?

Tommy says. How's the future looking for the general he's looking for? Are you looking for insurance? Yeah, yeah, you can save some time. Now I forgot the slogan. Go to the general and save some time. That's why that's why I said say something he says no. OK, the general love the mold The Supremes beat up to perfection. So what's up with the the? General, we have some on order as we speak. They're on their way. I know that it was a sake bomb disc at one time.

We've kind of shift gears on it and it will be just a regular dynamic, just General at this point moving forward. So we have some coming. We have a couple companies, I'm not going to say who they are at this time, but they we do have a couple like retailers that are ordering some to do some custom stamping on and sell them as well. So they're going to be pretty available here within the next month or two. So tell us about the because I'm

not I'm. I'm somewhat familiar just from watching a couple people throw them at Portland. Yeah, so that's what I'm saying. Tell tell me what? The General. Man, I got to, I got to even look up what speed it is. I don't know. It's a 13. It's a 13 speed. It's they're beef. They are beefy. They're it's, it's a disk that I know Ricky really wanted and he he had come out with it is a 12 speed. What? I thought I saw a 13 on there. Everybody didn't look close enough.

Where did you look? On the actual disk. 12404. Maybe the maybe. I thought the two was a three. Could be. It's hard to say either way. Very overstable kind of like that. You know, most top players are going to be bagging that disc just because it is an overstable distance driver for them. They can probably get a little flip to it and get some maximum distance as we're mere morals like ourselves are going to be throwing those when it gets windy and that's about it.

So I I've I've spent a little time throwing the general, obviously, but not not a lot. I think the the trespass does it more for me than anything or the heist even at this point. But yes, we do have some generals. Perfect. There you go. All right, Jared wants to know. I have a slot question. I have an Emac Truth, a Justice, and a Harp. Emac Truth isn't overstable, but it does have faith. The Justice is my utility disk for strong winds and when I need

the disk to go left. And my Harp is my approach with these three discs in mind, is there a point in bagging some disc like the Verdict to go in the middle of these three? Or does the Harp and Jeff just as suffice as that overstable disc? I think it's to each their own. If you want to bag another disc then absolutely get a verdict would be that next disc to put in that slot. But I'm a mold minimalist, so I don't like to carry a lot of

different molds. I like to keep it pretty simple and I like the same similar feel. So for me, I have the you know, the emac truth, which is my just point and shoot straight mid and then under stable wise, I just kind of have some beat up ones in there. And then for over stable I'll even go up to a driver instead of like another another mid range. I don't I think it depends. I mean, it doesn't hurt to try

it in my opinion. So try a verdict out and see how many times are you pulling that disc out of the bag during a round or is it just kind of sitting there and you don't throw it too often? If that's the case, you really probably don't need it and you can get away with your harp or your justice if you need something to be overstable or even disking up into a a higher speed disc and not having to worry about it. But the verdict is a great disc.

It's overstable and it does fit right in between the the Emac Truth and the Justice. I think it's a little closer to the EMAC Truth than the Justice stability wise. So probably a little bit of overlap there in my opinion all. Right. Well, if you, if you're thinking you want to get a verdict, we just released a lucid ice orbit. We did. And they look they. Look, fantastic. All right.

Is the PDGA limiting youth engagement

Last question is from Timothy. First off, thank you for bringing the gam back. Thank you. We're glad to be back. My 5 year old daughter loves playing competitive disc golf, has 13 career wins, and even won her first 8 tier last month at the Music City Open.

Well, congratulations to you. However, she cannot play in Junior World until 2027. Since the PDGA policy is that a child must be turning 8 to be eligible to play in majors, do you think the PDGA could be limiting youth engagement and shunning child prodigy Sprite sticking to policies like this or others? And what do you think they could be doing more of to foster the next generation of talent? I wouldn't think that they're shunning anything.

I mean, it's one event that they can't play, you know. And to your point though, I mean, how many of these these these thirteen career wins did you have other 8 year olds playing or, or younger than 8 year olds playing in that

division as well? Not not taking anything away from the wins or anything like that, but but the question is, you know, how big of a market is it for under 8 year olds that that want to be playing in World Championships or competing out there every every year at some certain big events? I don't know. That's a that's a good question. I don't, I don't know if this is something that's like more close to home for, for for Timothy or if it's more widespread.

So am I, let me just make sure I'm understanding what he he's saying that because his daughter, oh, can't play until she's 8, but she's 5, so she's thinking there's three years. Five. Yeah, 'cause. That she can't play. She can't play. Worlds she can't play Worlds a major. Can't play in major events but she can still play in other PDGA events that has her. Division I mean, I guess my initial thought is like. Pretty, pretty young. That's pretty young. And I guess like, let's say that

they changed it to five. OK, let's say they do, right? Let's do it right now, right? Let's do it, let's do it. That's it PJ, that's the rule. So let's say we do. But let's say a four year old has won 15 events OK, and won 2A tiers in the last two months. OK? Is the PGA shunning prodigies that are 4 years old? In other words, my point is at what? When? At what point do you have a cut off right For whatever reason they decide 8 years old?

I don't know the exact. Reason is that is that the case because I don't know. I mean on FJO 8 isn't that that's under 8? Is that just 8 year olds can compete in this division? That's fantastic question. So I don't I maybe it's because can she compete in the junior girls 8 and under or is it you can't compete until you're 8 and then the junior girls 8 under 8 is FJ. 08 is only 8 year olds you know. According to this, it says let's

see, Yeah, let's see. It must be amateur class member turning 8 through 18 old on their birthday in 2026. So it is. So you do have to be 8 you. Have to be 8 and right now there's there's only four eight-year olds signed up. So like, I don't, I don't know how, I'm not trying to like dilute your issue or say that it's not a problem, but how many other under 8 year olds are having the same issue? That's something I'm interested in. No, I get it. I get where you're coming from, Timothy.

You're right. You've got this young lady that is killing it in the sport and probably wants to be able to, you know, get some major wins under her belt, you know, and that's I think that's that's fantastic. I would say just just keep at it, keep going, keep, you know, the next three years she's is she going to be coming even

better. So when she comes on the scene and she is eligible via her age that she just gets on there and just kills it. So, you know, but at my to my point, I guess it's just at what point, you know, do they change it to 7 year old? Well, that doesn't help you. Do they change it to six year? And then when they if they do change it to a 5 year old, but then what happens to the four year old that's out there crushing it? So. Then the three-year olds.

Or the yeah, what about the one that's coming out of the womb throwing? That's. That was bad. That was too much. Too much I. Don't know for for I don't know for whatever reason. 8 years old just sounds like. Maybe there's something with the development of the right age? Yeah, in my head, but maybe I mean, I could be way off on that. I mean, that's that's definitely a question to hit up, you know, PDGA with. Yeah, let us know. They would be no. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

What do you think? 8 year old's a good one or they need to go younger than that to get kids into majors major. All right guys, thank you so much for your time. Thank you much for sending your questions. That's all the time we have for our questions. Make sure you check out the moonshine. Deputies. Deputies. Color Moonshine Deputies. They glow because they're moonshine. I forget they're on that point. Lucid and they're Lucid premium plastics.

see which one's better. If you colored one, do you think he would hang up on the refrigerator? My world's trophy was on top of their refrigerator for like 10 years. Oh, really? So maybe you would put it on the refrigerator.
