The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol held one of the last public hearings (implied by Chairman Bennie Thompson) as the committee continues its investigation into former President Donald Trump and his influence as he refused to acknowledge the results of the 2020 election. This hearing took a broader look at Trump's mindset as he refused to accept the results and sought to overturn President Biden’s election.
