Showing up Authentically you on Social Media

The beauty of network marketing is being able to connect with other people not just to sell stuff, but also to build authentic and wonderful relationships.

And one of the distinguished ways to connect is through social media.

If you’ve been following this podcast for a while now, you already know the importance of being authentic when you show up for your business. So how do we do that on social media?

The challenge with social media is trying to set up content that uphold our personal values— without compromising our privacy (especially when it comes to our kids!) 

Social Media Tips

Aside from showing up authentically, there are small hacks that we could do to improve our social media presence. Here are some of them: 

•  Enter the keywords that are related to your content or niche into your bio.
•  Include in your link tree the following: links to your community, other social media pages, and your featured content for that week or month.
•  Schedule your social media content (tip: utilize the Facebook business suite.)
•  Connect your Facebook business page to your Instagram.
•  Have two consistent hashtags to use on all your posts. But remember that content and engagement are becoming more important (and prioritized in algorithms) than hashtags.
•  Minimize words on pictures you post especially when you’re using carousel.
•  Always put a call to action on your posts.
•  Set up link resources for your group and team members if you’re not always available.

So to manage your social media for business, show up authentically, but set up boundaries for your personal life. And don’t worry about setting boundaries! Because the right people or the people in your circle will understand.
