For this month's Clinical Corner Article, Matt and Allie discuss a research report from the JOSPT that compared muscle strengthening in kids who have had recent knee injuries and those who have not. Would either condition be an ideal state to gain baseline strength? Strength/ strength deficits, different sport injuries, and opposite sexes were compared in this research. The results showed that strength improved but no gains were made thereafter.
