8 Productivity tips for digital nomads | Ep 70
Episode description
We are again joined by Rob Bone, a digital nomad who has been testing productivity hacks for years.
The early days of turning into a digital nomad can be a rush: People are always going out to cafes, restaurants, dancing, etc.
It can become very difficult to be productive with all the distractions.
Rob and Jeff have spent quite a bit of time learning various productivity hacks that have helped keep them on track.
Many techniques they have discarded, some they have kept. They discuss:
- Can you build an ideal work schedule around your natural clock.
- *Microdosing: Using microdoses of mushrooms for focus.
- Meditation: Setting a regular schedule of meditating to keep the mind sharp.
- Reading: Does it actually make you more productive, or do you just feel more productive?
- Riding the wave: Setting hard-and-fast stop times vs. riding a productivity wave deeper into you usual stop time.
- Blocking time for work sprints.
- Physical environment: Does your physical environment actually play a part in determining how productive you are?
- Do you wait for inspiration or do you power through your work until you find it?
