88. Trapped Inside a Prison of Doubt

In this week's episode, Luke describes how our expectations (especially our unmet expectations) can grab hold of us and take us captive. Luke points out that we often without even realizing it put more trust in our expectations than we do in God himself. This was a struggle that even the great Israelite prophet, John the Baptist, experienced, and Luke does a great job of connecting John’s struggle to our own personal struggles with unmet expectations.
