Episode description

Libby sits down with Megan and Cristina for today’s panel episode.

Megan Omstead is a graduate practicum coordinator of the School of Nutrition at Ryerson University in Ontario, Canada. Megan started her dietetics career in diabetes and quickly became the program manager of the diabetes education program. Megan's philosophy of practice is to create and promote dynamic learning environments where students can apply new and existing knowledge to practice skills and behaviors to demonstrate competence in dietetics practice.

Cristina Cappucci is an anti-diet dietitian, who specializes in helping moms who struggle with body insecurities and food guilt, learning how to accept their bodies and making peace with food health at every size approach. Cristina is based north of Toronto, working full time at a hospital. During this global pandemic, she found herself exploring how to start her own virtual private practice, and she did exactly that.
