Diamond Diehards: WE HAVE A WORLD SERIES IN 2020!

Joe Rizzo brings you baseball. Riz and Jeff "Dawg" Healy did the show on Facebook Live (https://www.facebook.com/groups/DiamondDiehards). They went live during the NLCS Game Seven between the Dodgers and Braves, jumping on during the Seventh Inning Stretch and stayed all the way through until the end, when the Dodgers completed their dramatic 4-3 victory. In the meantime, the guys talked about how they somehow plan on being in Arlington, Tex., for the World Series, and the amazing baseball season that was so in doubt for a long time. Riz recalled the April show that put us on the map where Dawg talked him through the experience with COVID and how we went from dreaming about ANY baseball game to a pair of epic League Championship Series matchups that were preceded by great playoff series and a pretty awesome regular season of 60 games. The guys continue to do more shows live, and are looking to move forward to also get it on YouTube, Twitch and other outlets, so keep an eye out for that and give us feedback. We want to know what you prefer! The Veteran of the Day, delivered by Dawg, was late Fordham baseball coach Dan Gallagher, who was a US Navy vet during the Korean War. Coach Gallagher guided the Rams for 21 years, producing seven titles and 500 wins, which is second all-time for the winningest college baseball program in history (yes, it's Fordham). It led to Riz & Dawg discussing some Fordham baseball stories that you most likely did not know. If you watched the livestream, Riz had the Fordham baseball field for his background.
