You are listening to Dialogue Frog's, English podcast. Are you ready for tomorrow? I am so ready for tomorrow. I love Halloween. It's my favorite. Halloween. So, are you going to dress up? Oh yeah. Well, you're having a party, right? Mm hm. Yep. I'm gonna dress up as a witch. So-. Classic. So how, what makes a good Halloween party? Hmm, that's a good question. I would say the atmosphere, first and foremost. Good food, good company.
Can you describe the atmosphere? Like what kind of atmosphere are you going for? Um, I'm going for spooky-classy. Spooky-classy. Mm yep. What does that mean? So, not like a scary movie or just-. Like a horror movie. You know, like blood and guts everywhere. Uh huh. More, more dark lights, kind of jazzy music in the background. Nice. Spooky decorations, but not scary decorations. Uh huh. And also not too, like kindergarten-. Right. Like made for children. Right. Yeah. But a nice balance-.
Yeah. Between horror movie and family-friendly. Right. Right. Yep. Lighting has a lot to do with it, I think. Yeah. So I'll have kind of purple greenish mood lighting. Kind of a cool, cool light. Mm hm. Cool colors really help to give you the spooky vibes. Spooky vibes. For Halloween. Yeah. Yeah. Well, and the food too, 'cause you can do a lot with uh decorating food or making like creative cupcakes or creative cookies. Mm hm. Or even other types of things.
Yeah. I have plans for cupcakes that have a brain on top. Oh! That uses, um, once you decorate with the brain, it uses strawberry jelly kind of oozed over the brain on the cupcake. To make it look like blood! To make it look like blood, yeah. Oh, that's clever. Yeah. There's a lot. And I've seen, um, some cakes will have crushed Oreos on top to look like dirt and you can make it look like a graveyard. Oh, yeah. It's really cute. There's so much creativity that comes out with Halloween. Mm hm.
Halloween decorations. Just have everything zombie themed. There you go. Easy. That's all you need. Well, have a happy Halloween tomorrow. Thank you, you too. This has been another English podcast with Dialogue Frog. For transcripts and vocabulary lists. Please visit dialoguefrog.com.
