This is an English listening podcast with Dialogue Frog. My name's Luke and I'm here today with Rachel. Hey! And, um, yeah, we're talking about relaxing. Relaxing. Being lazy. Being lazy. Doing nothing. My favorite kind of thing to do. Yep. Sometimes I get so lazy. I can't even finish my.....sentences. Oh yeah. That's what it was. That is lazy. You win. Congratulations. So, what do you do to relax? Well, lately I've started playing games on my tablet. I really like Mahjong. Mm hm.
It's really fun. Or Memory; any kind of really simple, mindless game where I just zone out and I don't really think about anything. Yeah. Some people like cleaning to relax and that is not me. No, that's... I can't relax unless there's a mess somewhere. Yeah. Dirty dishes in the kitchen is a hallmark of me being totally relaxed and happy. How about you? Um, I d- I don't know. I'm, I'm actually kind of stressed, so I need to think about ways I can relax.
Um, like you mentioned, games is a good one. Mm hm. Um... Its 'cause you can focus, especially with mindless puzzle games. Yeah. Or maybe not even mindless, maybe engaging. Yeah. Puzzles or games help you focus on something else. Yeah. So when you're stressed, it's not, it's not that the game itself is relaxing. It's more of just distracting. Yeah. And that in turn helps you get your mind off your, your problems and your-. Yeah. -Your struggles.
I just remembered that sometimes when I get sad or upset, I like to drive to new places in the country and just like-. Yeah. -See new places 'cause it takes enough concentration to where I need to... Yep. So... I agree, going for a drive. So, um, this has been an English listening podcast with Dialogue Frog. Thank you for listening.
