The panel of peril take a break from supervising Filipino tilt-a-whirl operators to discuss Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis’s The Campaign. We then try to improve upon the villain’s diabolical plan for the honour of choosing next week’s film and hosting the pod.
Released in 2012, The Campaign was directed by comedy powerhouse Jay Roach and takes aim at the corruption and inherent preposterousness of big-time American politics. It also stars such comedy luminaries as Jason Sudeikis, John Lithgow, Dan Aykroyd and Sarah Baker.

Political king-makers the Motch Brothers seek to replace incumbent Representative Cam Brady after a public faux pas with loveable nobody Marty Huggins. Their ultimate aim is establish factories that will allow them to import cheap Chinese labour to further their business interests. Money makes the world go ‘round, after all.
