92 – Josh Dewing – Sowing The Seeds

We start this week with the Dewing Grain market report for week commencing 29th June 2020 in which Andrew talks about the implications of the recent explosion at the oil seed plant at Erith.

In Farmchat Andrew is joined by Josh Dewing who trades seed for Dewing Grain. Josh runs through a comprehensive account of the seed varieties for 2021, covering wheat, winter barley, rape seed and spring barley.  There’s a brief chat about watching football with no fans as the boys sample a beer - this week Andrew dusts off his Japanese language skills as he drinks Hitachino Nest White Ale 5.5% whilst Josh enjoys Disco Forklift Truck Mango Pale Ale 5.1% from Drygate Brewery.
