Episode description

After last week’s bitesize episode, this week Andrew is back with a bumper market report and possibly the most positive one yet… where prices are concerned at least! Drought is still the hot topic, and it’s a very friendly marketplace right now.

In Farmchat, Andrew travels down South this week for a chat with Suffolk Farmer, James Forrest. As a heavy land farmer (and a complete newbie to the podcast), James gives us an insight into what’s happening in Suffolk right now and his thoughts on topics such as drought, cover crops & carbon. And to finish off, Andrew & James weigh up the pros and cons of building a new grain store with the rising costs of materials currently.

As always, thanks to our listeners, old and new, and remember to keep in touch - we are @dewinggrain on Twitter.
