At the same time, the international community has significantly raised and accelerated its ambitions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, fight climate change, and better manage collective risks.

As part of his inaugural visit to Australia in November 2016, World Bank Interim Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President, Operations, Kyle Peters shared insights on current global development issues, and the future direction the World Bank is taking to address them.
