This Devotional address with Elder Clement M. Matswagothata was delivered on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:30 AM MST in the BYU-Idaho I-Center. Elder Clement M. Matswagothata was sustained as a General Authority Seventy at the April 2025 general conference. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a temple ordinance worker in the Johannesburg South Africa Temple and as an area self-reliance specialist. Elder Matswagothata has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the South Africa Capetown Mission, high councilor, bishop, stake president, and Area Seventy. Elder Matswagothata received a bachelor of philosophy degree. He has worked in the automotive industry since 2004 with various car brands. He has held several leadership positions including sales manager, general manager, and country manager for Barloworld Motor. Clement Mosiame Matswagothata was born in Middlepits, Botswana, on January 8, 1980. He married Novelty Busisiwe Buthelezi in 2004. They are the parents of three children.
