*There is a science behind changing the course of your brain. You can change the physical rivets in your mind so your thoughts can go the way you want them to go.
*We are used to a roadway in our subconscious mind; mind renewal is like carving a new roadway..it takes time! As the pathways become more cleared out the fruit becomes more and more fruitful!
*When feeling anxious, having trouble focusing, or feeling frustrated there is no need to endure and push through, PAUSE AND ACKNOWLEDGE. A simple thing to do: WRITE IT DOWN! Get your thoughts out of your head. Stop for a moment, write down what is hiding in the dark and bring it to light. Recognize the lies then speak the truth over them.
*Give God the opportunity to come and take away or help you through what you are feeling and walking in.
*If there is a check engine light, just stop and check the engine. Instead of making it a worse problem, taking these 5 minutes is worth it when in comparison to pushing through the day.
*Bring a blank piece of paper with you into your quiet time; when those thoughts come up you can then write them down and release them. Your brain can only hold 3 pages of information, so writing things down opens up space. Brain dump to receive!!!
*Belief is something different than what we know to be true. Belief is a repeated thought and emotion that we have in our mind,
*We often know the truth but we won't believe it. Because our thoughts and emotions do not fall in line with the truth. Every decision we make is based on belief. So if they do not line up with the truth, our decisions are being based on possible ungodly beliefs.
*A simple thing to do: WRITE IT DOWN! Get your thoughts out of your head. Stop for a moment, write down what is hiding in the dark and bring it to light. Recognize the lies then speak the truth over them.
*Describing what you are experiencing shifts the brain from experiencing the emotion to watching it.
*Time for you to name it; you say “I am feeling irritated”, instead of I am irritated. The way we speak is so big! Words have the power of life and death.
*How do we change?....If you gather enough evidence to support the thought you want, the brain will be able to go there much easier.
*We can't deny our feelings without a reason, we have to validate our feelings.
*Acknowledge what you are feeling and that it may not be the truth of your circumstances. You can choose to set your mind on things above,
*Being in the word is critical so you know the truth and can shift your mind to the truth.
*It's important to acknowledge what season you are in and have grace for yourself.
*We have the power, free will—-you get to choose!! Choosing in brings true VICTORY!
*A healthy gut makes such a difference, there is this nerve that goes from the gut and then around the brain.
*VAGUS NERVE- notice anxious thoughts create butterflies or nausea?... constipation creates depression and brain fog. If you want to address your thoughts, you gotta address the gut
*Our spirit our soul (emotions, thoughts, and will), and our body are so interconnected. It may be time to look at what you eat, and possibly take some steps to change what is being consumed.
*Stress is a big factor when it comes to gut health. Spend time recognizing what stresses are in your life, such as emotional, physical, environmental, die, hormonal.
