On the morning of April 23 1997, Ann Rippel’s body was discovered face down in little Tonawanda creek by a driver passing by. She was naked from the waist down and had duct tape loosely around her throat. She was a mother, a daughter and a sister, and 22 years later her death is a still a mystery.
