In this episode of 'Designing Success,' I sit down with Brandon Willington, founder of Where u? A Western Australian based digital marketing agency. Brendan spills about his own entrepreneurial journey and shares heaps of helpful insights 

Brandon first grabbed my attention online through his guerrilla style Facebook ads that are designed to be attention-grabbing without the usual sales pitch. He explains the inspiration behind this approach and how it helps in earning trust from the audience.

We delve into the world of digital advertising, particularly for those who might be new to digital marketing. He talks us through when it's the right time to invest in ads and suggest the types of ads to start with, especially for those who aren't tech-savvy. Interior designers often struggle to articulate their value, and I address this challenge, and get some real life strategies to create ads that stand out and include compelling calls to action, that get clicks! 

We explore various platforms for lead generation, including Facebook, TikTok, and the untapped potential of Pinterest, which I believe holds great promise for Australian interior designers.

Sales and Conversions are a crucial part of the advertising process, and Brandon offers great advice on optimising lead forms and websites to ensure potential clients don't scroll past. Lastly, we discuss the transition to paid ads and when emerging designers should start experimenting with ad spend.
