Alexia Mathieu is a design strategist and an educator. Her work focuses on design strategy for interactive products and services, merging human-behaviour, cultural and business insights to prototype alternative futures. For the past 7 years, Alexia has led user-research and design strategies for several interactive products at New Deal Design, in San Francisco, working closely with startups, engineers and designers. She helped build numerous brand platforms and product experiences. She also created digital storytelling platforms for brands and worked on international advertising campaigns at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Boulder, Colorado, and London. Since September 2017, Alexia is the Course Leader of Master Media Design program at HEAD – Geneva since September 2017. With a BA in Textile Design from La Cambre and an MA in Material Futures at Central Saint Martins, Alexia has built a multi-disciplinary background across many industries and company types, from interaction design, textile design to advertising. On the side, she experiments with digital fashion and creating new interactive experiences for the fashion industry.
