The Cutaneous Procedures Adverse Event Reporting (CAPER) serves to collect data on adverse events (AEs) encountered in dermatologic surgery procedures to be used for:
- Safety monitoring for the specialty
- Identifying practice or education gaps associated with the AEs
- Identifying potential risk factors for AEs
