Episode description

Dennis welcomes filmmaker Steve Balderson to his condo to discuss the FOUR films he has coming out on various platforms: "Hell Town," "El Ganzo," "Firecracker" and "Elvis Lives." He talks about shooting "El Ganzo" in Mexico near Cabo San Lucas, getting hired to direct "Elvis Lives" by the same folks who make the "Sharknado" films, getting Karen Black to star in "Firecracker" and the fun of staging the murders for "Hell Town." Steve also talks about making the move to LA from Kansas, the orgy-fest that was his stint as an undergrad at California Institute of the Arts, the Italian lover who changed his life, directing a Backstreet Boy, discovering meditation and his fixation with stealing shots for his movies from locations where filming is forbidden. Other topics include: on set pranks, his master plan word doc, how to get rid of a stalker and more. www.dikenga.com @sbalderson
