Can't believe it.
And we've been doing this for a year now. It's just flown by. i Yeah. Oh, my goodness. And what a year. True. We have a couple of new reviews. Oh, so this review is from Katie J 84. It's titled it's like watching your favorite show with your favorite girlfriend's and your favorite cocktail. And Katie said love to see some local representation. These Dallas girls will keep you laughing and brighten your mood. We'll definitely keep listening. Listening, Team Crowley all the
way no cubed. And then we also got a review from Kay DAX two titled Love these ladies. They said I never write reviews, but I had to for this podcast. I found these ladies on a tick tock can't talk today. Tick tock post, and I had to check them out. I caught up with all the episodes in about three weeks. I couldn't stop listening to them. They both are so funny, and burly has the best laugh. I love their relationship and how they
interact with each other. I highly recommend listening to denim wrapped nightmares and can't wait to relive the next 11 seasons with them. cheers ladies, but not with the Uriel. No. So before we dig into today's episode, I have the honor. Freak out recapping all of season four. All right, here we go. After spending for long horrific months and hell, Dean Winchester is miraculously raised from perdition and resurrected by an angel of the
Lord named Cassiel. After Dean reunites with his father figure Bobby and his brother Sam. They all work together with Castile to stop Lilith from breaking enough seals to release the Fallen Archangel Lucifer. Castile also warned Steen that Sam is on a dangerous path and Dean needs to stop him before it's too late. Speaking of Sam Ruby has been working with him since Denes death and Season Three helping track Lilith So Sam can get vengeance with some
sexy times on the side. Along the way the boys meet Uriel another angel and cast yells subordinate he's brought in as the muscle to help get Sam and Dean in line. The boys also meet a girl named Anna, who has the ability to hear angels and is later revealed to be a fallen angel herself. After getting laid and escaping capture for breaking the ultimate Angel law. Anna goes underground, only surfacing on occasion to provide guidance. Unfortunately she is
captured in the finale. When angels turn up dead Castile and Uriel capture Alistair Hills grand torturer, as Dean was other Alastair student during his last month in hell, the angels ask Dean to torture him and find out what demons are killing the angels. During the reunion, Alistair revealed that Dean broke the first of the 66 seals while he was in hell. My bed before Alistair dies, he says it's not the demons.
Eventually Cassio learns that it's his own brother Uriel who's been killing the angels, betraying their heavenly orders recruiting angels for limitless cause and killing those who declined. Throughout the season. Sam and Dean's relationship is strained as Sam keeps citing with Ruby over Dean. In order to become strong enough to kill billith. Sam has been drinking a steady supply of demon blood, blurring his judgment, morals
and loyalty. To make matters even worse, a new Angel Zachariah lets us know that heaven decides they gave it their best shot, and now they're just gonna let the apocalypse happen. Zach and Cass kidnap Dean and tell him he's not to stop the apocalypse. No, no, no, he's to stop Lucifer. But all Dean wants to do was make up with his baby brother after they had a big blow. outfight After tracking down and killing Lilith, Sam learns her death is
actually the final seal. And Ruby was deceiving him all along with the help of Castile and the Prophet Chuck Shirley. Dean finds Sam, but it's too late to stop him from breaking the final seal. Lucifers cage opens up beneath them as he is released upon the world.

Thank you. Well, it was a lie. Yeah, a lot happened last season. Oh,
each season, it'd be hard to sum up all of it. Oh, goodness.
We've done it so far. Yeah, every season premiere except the first one. Well,
on our season five premiere, there's a lot to cover. So hopefully, I won't make it too long. The episode is called Sympathy for the Devil season premiere of season five, it aired on September 10 2009. I just say on to those online. Well, this episode starts right off where we left off, literally.
Yeah, it was a really cool transition from the little recap, montage at the beginning to the beginning of this episode. I enjoyed that. And
we've got the flash of light coming up from Littlest, the blood circle. And Dean's trying to get Sam to come with him and Sam kind of pauses. And he finally gets them. They run to the doors, the doors shut on them. And then like they're both covering their ears from the sound. And you like you said, he's an angel.
They can't understand what you're saying. Lucifer was saying, Hey, guys,
I'm back if me. But like, talking about, like, a transition, it's it just shows them covering their ears, all this light going everywhere, like just so chaotic. And then it switches to a TV screen with Yosemite Sam. Talk. Yeah. And you're just like, wow. And then even stranger, Sam and Dean are sitting in a plane, like shielding themselves like they were in the convent. But they're just in plain seats. Or
when I first showed the cartoon on the television screen. Oh, it's a flashback. I
thought you were totally right. But no, they were it was on the screen in front of their plane seat. So super weird. I think they came over and said something about how they're on the plane on a plane to Baltimore, which is where they had been,
I know they were leaving Ilchester. And that's where they had been. And they were on their way to write to
write well, and then the plane starts crashing
the light it showed the light flash out and so the plane swerved to miss the light. So that's where I was saying like otherwise this Yeah, you were writing. But that's why I said to you, I said So did they get transported not only to a different location, but a few minutes back in time. And you didn't reply to me. And so I just dropped what
you're talking about. Sorry. I gotta do a better way of doing this I miss so much. Well, then the guys are in a rental car. And there's a bunch of stuff on the radio just like nothing Oh, bad shit going on. I think something about it's unlikely that there was a terrorist attack at the convent and then some other stuff going on somewhere else. It was just all bad. So they turned it off. And he's like, you know, we just gotta keep our heads down figured out. But we need to find
casts, of course. They had to Chuck's house and it is a miss shits everywhere thrown about there's blood everywhere, everywhere. And nowhere. Chuck comes and smack Sam in the face. I don't know what he had. It was some poll or something. He's like, Oh, sorry. When he realized it was Sam. He's like, Hey, how are you doing? Seems like My head hurts. Chuck mentions like the last time he saw him in Division. He was full on Vader is eyes turned black.
Like shit was going down. Dean's like, Oh, your eyes turn blah. Like because he didn't see it. Right. So that's the first he's hearing of it. And we know how he feels about that. And they asked about Cass and Chuck says he just he exploded. He's gone. Dead. He's out of
here. Ark Angel smote as ass or something like that. Yeah. Which again, where's the archangel?
I don't know if we're ever gonna see him.
I don't know if we will know.
Yeah, he Sam says he's got something in his hair. And he pulls out it too. Yeah, from his hair a bloody tooth. I
thought Chuck was going to have a nervous breakdown. So this is a molar What the hell? Oh.
Well then who who shows up after this? But yeah, Does that pariah. And he's like, Hey, guys, you know, things have happened. It's the Apocalypse Now. And we're back on the same team guys.
Let's go team.
They're not having it so much Dean doesn't want to go and help them, even though he said he was going to and blah, blah, blah, about Yeah, I think he's just a little disheartened and disappointed in these angels. And as they're talking, Zachariah sees the Dean's hand is bleak. He's like dropping blood on the ground from his fist. And he's like, what's that? Are you injured? And Dean says no, and slides, this dramatically slides the sliding door over pocket door. Yeah. And
it's the symbol. They're like, blast the angels with his blood and smacks it sends them on their way. Because he had he had like a little henchman with him or think,
yeah, he had a couple of hands. Yeah, he's learned that from my friend Cass. Yeah. The other thing that I thought was interesting than this little exchange was, you know, because we learned, it's funny how many things in the special features at the end of last season are super relevant now. But we learned, you know, freewill is a big deal. And Zachariah pointed out, you know, we, we gave you the choice, we gave you the options. We asked you to try and stop, Sam, and you couldn't. Why
are you mad at us? Yeah. Because Dean tried to say you jump started the apocalypse. And he was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, like, we didn't do it. Yeah, you too. Did it. True.
I was just like, shady, right.
I also forgot to mention he said that they needed to strike before Lucifer finds his vessel. Oh, yeah. So Lucifer is on the hunt. So they are blasted away. Or boys are back at the motel and Sam has some hex bags. He throws at Dean and Dean's like, Oh, where'd you get these? Like? And seems like a meet him and he like sheepishly says I learned from Ruby. Yeah. That's when Dean asks him like, oh, yeah, I meant to like, say like, how are you doing? Like, you know, Oh,
yeah. Are you doing without that demon blood?
We got the answer to that question. Real quick. I was not expecting us to get the answer to that question in the premiere.
Right. We were just talking about it, or last episode. Yeah, everything's like contemplating or whatever. And
I totally thought it was gonna be like an overarching thing for at least the first half of the season. It was just like, very fast.
Yeah, they did. He's Sam, just like, I think, you know, I mean, I think I'm just clean of all the demons. But I think it all came out in that one moment.
Whoever zapped us in the airplane cleaned me up. Yeah.
And I think Dean says, Oh, good. Some supernatural message. Oh, yeah. And Sammy. And I'm saying, Sammy, because I think he's back.
I know, we got puppy dog eyes quite a bit. Like, I totally feel like Sam ease back.
I mean, he very much said, you know, he was like, saying he was sorry, but he was very aware that that's not enough. Like, it's not enough to apologize and say you were right. I was wrong. All that. But,
I mean, sorry. It was bothering me. To Westerners. I just took my bra off from under my shirt. I
don't want to say I feel bad for him yet. But it was nice to see the old Sammy. Yeah. Dean says, All right, what are we gonna do? What are we doing with Lucifer? Like, let's work this like we would any other hunt. Like, approach it the same way. Next up, we see we're in Pine Creek, Delaware, and there's a man walking into this nice house. Winds going crazy leaves everywhere. His little gate to his front yard is banging, banging, banging. And he's just looking at it was very weird.
Yeah, just ominous the editing the cutting back and forth. It was very weird. And then
we see him in his bed. He wakes up. And there's he pulls his hands out from the bed and like they're bloody. And then he starts to move. And it's real bloody, like soaked in blood.
I don't think it was squishing but in my brain, I could hear squishing because there was just that much blood. He jumped up and went and looked at the bat and there was nothing there. That's gone. And so he was just like, I'm just gonna try and go back to sleep. But then he rolled over. And Millie from scandal was there. I
don't know. I don't know. It's just it. Well,
it wasn't Milly from scandal on the show.
I know. I just I was saying I don't know your reference. I never watched
it but okay, so he rolls over and there's a woman laying there next to him, which we find out is his dead wife. And her face has like I thought it was lesions at first, but I think it might have been blood. I think there's like blood splatter. And she just was
like, you're so special. Your children was
just a really creepy, eerie scene. Yeah, with the gate and the sleeping and blood and the weird woman with blood and then that was it. Yeah,
and then even weirder, like a transition. There is a woman writing at her computer and she's writing about Sam and Dean. Basically what it sounds like what Chuck might have been writing, but
a little different. No, I didn't. I don't think that that's from textbooks. Oh, no, no,
no, I know. It's not from Joe. Yeah, I'm saying she's taking her stuff from his books.
She's a she's a win c'est fan fiction writer. And she was like, real intense while she was typing and saying the story out loud and like almost breathing heavily.
But as she's writing, she gets a little video message. And it's Chuck, and they have a little video chat. She's like, I'm your biggest fan. I think she said her name. Her handle is Sam liqueur. 81. Yeah.
And whenever he didn't recognize that, because of course he wouldn't. He was just like, you're white. She was like, Oh, I like Ron. More than brothers.net. Yeah. She's like, Oh, my God.
And he's just trying to like, bypass all this small talk with us. Just get through it. Yeah. And he's like, Listen, I need you to send a message to Sam and Dean. And she's like, buddy, like, I get I write some fan fiction, but I'm not. I'm not that out of here to know that. Like, this isn't real. You know, they aren't real people. I know that. And he always says like, no, it's real. She's like, I knew she was so excited. So of course, she goes to motel where the boys are, where Chuck tells
her to go. And very oddly, Sam opens the door, and she just like, starts immediately touching his chest and telling me so firm. It's very awkward. She says that Chuck is being watched by the angels. Oh, and that like think I think right when she walked in, she's she's like, Oh, you're so firm. And then she looks at me. And she's like, and you're so not what I was expecting. Yeah. What is that? I wouldn't be disappointed. But, yeah, so she says that check is being watched
by angels. And that Michael sword is somewhere on Earth, the angels lost it. And something about 42 dogs on castle or castle on in
a castle on a hill made of 42 dogs. Yes,
of course. She's
still
touching Sam. And he very nicely asks her to stop touching him. And she says no, and keeps doing it. inappropriate.
It was such a meta little Ode to a super fan, you know? And if you can't laugh at yourself, I mean, come on. I thought it was cute. I thought it was it was cute, and funny and over exaggerated. And just, I'm
sure they already at that point.
By Season Five they already had.
Oh, yeah. Next up, we see Bobby. He's bringing the boys the Impala. And he started talking about that they need to research Michael, if they're saying that this sort of somewhere on Earth, let's dive into research get get to it. He shows them some books. And of course, it's like the fancy paintings from back in the day. And Dean says that Michael looks like Cate Blanchett. In the midst of all this, Sam kind of gets upset and I didn't I mean, I guess I didn't realize this.
But But Bobby didn't know what had happened yet. So Sam tells him that this is all his fault. You know, it wasn't little if that broke. The last seal was the seal. And it's he's the one that killed her. It's all his fault. This is why this is all happening. And Bobby takes it in a way I did not expect. Maybe there and I think Sam would have said something about he's like, I'm so sorry. I didn't listen to you guys. And he's like, Yeah, you didn't listen. And he's like, you're reckless, selfish,
arrogant. And this is the kind of thing that is not forgiven. He told Sam, when this is all over and this loose for shits all done, you lose my number,
which felt wrong. It just it didn't feel like Bobby. But with that being said something that did pop into my mind during that scene is like Sam was confessing because of his guilt and all of that we know that Dean knew, because Cassiel told him. When Dean found out he broke the first seal. It was just him and Aleister in the room. Has Dean told anyone that he's actually the one who started all this who I don't think he did. I don't think he
has. That's kind of today's date on 13. Come on. Right now granted, I don't think he has kind of different because beginning the ending,
started and then another one to actually like be the one who let Lucifer out. And also Sam wasn't inhale being tortured and holding out for 30 years. Like I'm not comparing the two. I'm just saying, you know, Sam can't keep it in. He feels so guilty. He has to like let everybody know understand me as our Sammy. But like, I don't think Dean's told anyone. Either.
Oops, shady the city bro. So
is that going to come? I think that would probably come out this season. Yeah, people are gonna find out hopefully.
Because otherwise, all right pot. Well, after that interaction, which was a little heartbreaking. Yeah. Sam says he's gonna go to the nearby church and see if he can find any research there. So Bobby and Dean sit down to kind of delve into the books and things they have. And Bobby starts talking about how he never believed that John was right about Sam. And that, you know, he was right about having to kill them at one point, and maybe they shouldn't have tried so hard to save him.
Which is awful. It's terrible.
And Dean kind of just like, blows it over. He's like, No, and like he something pops in his head. He goes over to his dad stuffs pulls out I think a little business card and says that there's an address on there to Castle storage. 40 What is it? 42
rover Hill,
okay. I mean, that's pretty telling. He thinks this must be what Chuck meant. Yeah. And his dad had the sword all along in the storage unit. Bobby's like Alright, cool. That's good enough for me and then beats the shit out of D. Out of nowhere.
Then you and I both went. I knew it because we both knew like Bobby was not acting like Bobby. Not at all. No.
What'd he say though?
Neither one of us knew exactly what was going on. But we both knew something wasn't right.
Right. Two other demons show up in the midst of this fight. And once once a lady and she starts talking to Dean like she knows them. And at first he thinks it's Ruby. But no, lo and behold, it's Meg. Yeah. And she takes the the knife the big knife that kills the demons. She starts talking about how our his brother did them a favor. They really owe him a fruit basket and things are great for them right now. They're really happy. And then she kisses Dean. Yeah, very awkward looking
kid real aggressive force. Well, I mean, it was meant to be. I got you know, you're not meant to be. I love you.
But it almost looked like like, almost like somebody passing something to somebody. Yeah, in a way it was. I mean, it was forceful. It was awkward. Yeah, it was clearly meant to be like You're my bitch now. Oh, yeah. Then Bobby takes the knife from mag and puts it to Dean's throat and I was like, first second. I was like, holy
shit. Well, and Meg said, By the way, like your surrogate daddy in there. He's still conscious. He's he's aware of what's happening right now. Just so you know. And I want him to remember cutting you up or something like that.
Yeah. Oh, and so as Bobby's like slamming Dean back up and about to slit his throat. Dean's kind of like calling to him. Bobby's eyes flashed from the black to his eyes. And he takes the knife and just stabs himself like in the guts and he flashes falls down.
I thought he was gone. So you know, because it was established. Last season. Sam said when we use the knife, it kills the victim. So I thought oh my god, like, What the fuck? He's gone. No,
maybe it's he's got maybe his tattoo or something? I don't
know. Or maybe since he had control of the vessel. Now that I'm thinking about it every time every time we've seen them use the Demon Blade. The demon was in control, right? Maybe because Bobby somehow who knows how got control of himself. He was in control of the vessel. Maybe that's why he lived. That's true.
Good point. Good Jews in the noggin
every here.
Well, in the midst of this Dean starts fighting. I think the other demon that's there. Sam shows up. They're all beating the shit out of each other. And is it is it Sam or Dean that pulls the knife out of Bobby. Dean. Okay, yeah, he pulls the knife out of Bobby and goes and sticks it in mag ordinate Oh, I'm sorry. I think he kills her minion the henchmen? Yeah. And then she goes out. Yeah, he goes to get her and she of course, a bails bail.
If I ever get possessed by a demon. And it goes to bail. I'm gonna sing it out. Oh, instead of scream it out. Might be a little awkward. But alright. I think it'll be a good time.
Next up, we're back with Nick. Nick knack. And he's with a bunch of baby stuff. In a box. Yeah. And there's a I think a little swing or whatever. We're making noise over there. And you could tell like, something's wrong. This house is empty. You know, we saw the vision of the wife. It's
also uncomfortable. Like every scene with Nick made me feel physically uncomfortable. It was just so sad.
He starts hearing a baby crying goes down in the box pulls out a monitor with a baby crying on the monitor. So it goes upstairs to what what would have been a nursery. I'm guessing Well, I don't need to guess there's a fucking crib in there. And the crib starts just like leaking. in blood,
he collapsed to his knees and was like, on the verge of a breakdown after that, rightfully so, so sad.
And it was creepy, but then it cuts right back to Sam Dean at the hospital. Yeah, they're at the hospital with Bobby. They're bringing him in. Of course, he's injured. Kind of hand them off to this nurse. She's like, you better stick around. We're gonna have questions. The stab wound. Yeah. Sam is wanting to say he's like, No, you know, we need to make sure he's okay. And he's like, No, we need to go Bobby's gonna
be fine. We need to go after the storage unit because the demons now know about it since Meg bale got away. Yeah. So they go to it and your favorite scene
to the storage shed the they go to the storage shed. And then when they go in, it's the old devils it was.
We're going to talk about how you liked the load nup Oh,
I forgot. I rewound it for that. It was just very dramatic. Then loading their guns. There were a bunch, a bunch of sound effects. It kind of reminded me of Power Rangers. Like when Dean picked up one of the guns and spun it. It did like this very loud, like Filter Noise. And it just made me think of like, yeah, you know, it was just a lot of sound effects. Just there's a lot going on in the trunk. And I thought it was fun. I haven't heard that many
sound effects before. Like, I know their sound effects throughout the entire series. Don't get me wrong, but it was just like, that's all this scene was. Yeah. A bunch of sound effects serious face very serious faces and like, Yeah, I thought it was fun.
Do you want to talk about that?
Oh, okay. Yeah. And then the other thing I enjoyed was that whenever they went into the storage shed, I thought this was a good detail. They walk in and immediately there's two bodies at the door. And there's a devil's trap at the door. But it's the old fancy Devil's trap. Because of John. John would know the Nokian one, right? It's a big one on the floor. Yeah. It's huge. And it's the fancy, detailed, ornate, old school Devil's trap. And they're walking in there being like, oh,
fuck, they're dead already. And his Zacharias is
like, the best line. Like they're walking around, and then they show up. I think I don't know what Zachary says. But Dean like it's like, So you told the demons where the sword is? Oh, that's right. Yeah. And he's like, Oh, thank God, the angels are here. Yeah. Like they're really gonna do something is so good the way he delivered it.
Oh, and Zacharias are talking about you know, it's pretty crazy that these demons could have grabbed this sword at any time, because it was just sitting right in front of them. They're sitting there like, what? What are you talking about? Where where is it? And he tells them that Dean is Michael's sort. Yeah,
they also said that the prophecy, they put that in Chuck's head to mislead him and send Dean straight to them, which Why did they need to do that they can pop in on Dean anytime they want. So I kind of thought that was
a little at least a little volatile when they're around, I guess.
Zachariah tells him tells Dean that he is Michael's receptacle, which I love that like they're always so like, demeaning. And deeds so kindly. He's like, Oh, so you're thinking of a vessel? Because that's a nicer way to put it.
That actually Dean said, oh, so I'm an angel condom.
Oh, yeah. Oh, that's what I said that to get next. Yeah. Because he said that he's chosen and he was like, Yeah, I don't think I really want to be an angel. Which
Zachariah is just like joking. Always joking, like getting all upset,
but then he's like, No more jokes. And he puts his hand out like, like gun finger gun. And he's like, he pointed a Diem and goes to Sam and says, like, bang, I think. Yeah. And break Sam's leg. Right then in there.
I think he said legs plural. Oh, did? I think so? Oh, it's even worse. I thought it was pretty cool.
I mean, it was well, I said, I was like, Man, I'd be cool.
To be able to just go bang bang with your fingers. Stare. I use finger guns way more than I should. So I probably shouldn't have that power. I'd be really irresponsible with it. But you would probably be okay with it. Just really bad. I don't think I've ever seen you use finger guns.
Well, he Zachariah tells no Dean. Well, both of them really. The war has begun and you know, they don't have their general shits bad. If Lucifer is unchecked, then all humans are going to die. Dean realizes that, you know, why are you telling me all this? And not just like making it happen? And then he realizes that they need his permission to be Michael's vessel. And of course he in his
regular fashion says Eat me. I say no. So Zachariah is like, okay, okay, you're gonna say no. He's like, What about your friend Bobby? You know, if you say yes, we're gonna heal them. You say no, he never walks again. He's like, Oh, And I think Dean still says no, and he's like, alright, well, what about what are you gonna do when we give you stage four cancer? And Dean starts like coughing up blood. And I think he still says no, Sam. So he's like, Okay, well I'll see I'll Sandoz
without lungs. And he tells him You will say yes. just in the nick of time, guess who shows up? We'll
see a flash of light because Cassiel hit the angel sweet spot in the back of the throat on one of the minions,
man. He just like swoops in there and takes them all out.
Well, those Zacharia he doesn't take out. Right, right. He, he intimidates Zachariah into leaving by essentially implying, I think he doesn't straight out say it. But I think he's saying that God resurrected him. Oh, God saved the Winchesters from the convent. Yeah.
Because he says like, I think he said something about how it scares them. Who else
could have done it? Or Yeah, something like that. And so Zachary, Zachariah just pieces out? You? I did love it whenever Zachariah was like, we don't have our general and that's bad because I was like, that's how I talk.
Well, Cass is all business is there's no Hello, good to see nothing. And he says a loose verse circling his vessel, your hex bags aren't going to work when that happens. So he touches each of them very gently. And they both go in like pain. I can't remember what Dean is. And he's like, oh, did you just like tattooed on us or something? He's like, No, I carved it in your ribs. Okay, great. And Sam asked him if he was really dead. He says, yes. Dean's like, well, how are you alive? Like, I
wonder what happened. And Cass is like, thanks. This appears by like a saved dress. You go to you. I'll be back later.
He goes, wouldn't you like to know? He says out.
He likes to be mysterious.
He is still an angel drama. Yeah.
Well, next up, we're back with Nick. He's in bed again. And his wife shows up. And she tells him that she's not his wife. But she's an angel. And her name is Lucifer. And he's like, oh, yeah, okay. Oh, he's like, Hey, Satan, can you remind me next time not to drink before I go to bed? It was pretty funny. And she says that there's just so few like me special. He's a vessel. And she needs to take control of his body and mind. But she needs him to invite her in. And he's not
having it really. He's like, why should I and she's like, You know what my crime is? I loved God too much. And he punished me for it.
She's, it's an angel. It's Lucifer. Of course, he's going to be super dramatic. True. True. I mean, come on. He's the ultimate show starter that is.
So he the Nick is like, I mean, I just don't see why I would do this. You know, can you bring my family back? If I say yes. And she tells him No, but you know, the man that broken and slaughtered your family. I can give you justice for that. He's like, How can I believe you and he's like I don't she says, I don't lie because I don't need to. And Nick agrees. And so he is now the vessel of Lucifer.
And then we're back at the hospital and Bobby's yella killing I think at the nurse or doctor something about how he may never walk again. And he's not believing it. Well,
and that's when I was just like, oh shit, Zachariah did it. Like Zachariah, Castile whenever he showed up? He told Zachariah put these boys back together. He didn't say nothing about Bobby, right? And the first thing that Zachariah threatened was if you say no, Bobby will never walk again. You know, so he held up that first threat. I
hope it gets fixed. I think don't they end up just saying like they're gonna do things their way how they've always done them to, like hunt downloads for get them. Bobby
is being a little realistic about their chances. And Dean kind of gives a motivational speech about you know, this is our planet. They can go fight somewhere else and yatta yatta yatta kind of thing. He and Sam are leaving after that. And that's when Bobby stopped Sam. Oh, yeah. Bobby, just tell Sam that he knew what the demon said. And he wanted to make sure demon or you wanted to make sure Sam oops, knew it was in fact the demon that it was
not Bobby. I think that what he said exactly was I never cutting you out boy, not ever. And so Sam was really happy to hear that from his surrogate daddy, obviously. And then when they were leaving, and walking out to the car, Sam is just like maybe we can get the cold maybe that will kill Lucifer like we've got a chance let's do this. Let's do this. Like his most Dean's motivational speech works with Sam Sam's like let's do this. And then dean is just like, Are
you fucking kidding me? Like I literally just said that for Bobby's sake, because I didn't want him to be sad and defeated because he can't walk. Yeah. And then he kind of laid it out like, you and I are not okay. By the way, you chose Ruby over me multiple times. We're not good. And I don't know how we're going to do this.
I think he says, like, having a hard time forgiving and forgetting. And he doesn't think that they're ever going to be able to be what they were because he can't trust him anymore. And
then we got to slow pan up from the parking lot. And it looked like maybe Dean left Sam in the parking lot because Sam does not walk to go get in the Impala with him. Yeah, he just stays there. We'll see. We'll see. was written by Eric crypkey. and directed by Robert singer. So Gore, everything involving Nick. Yeah. And it wasn't even so much the core. Just the way they shot it. The awkwardness of it. The fact that it was almost always the lighting was in shadows. just
creepy. Yeah. And uncomfortable. And blood. Yeah, there was a lot of blood everywhere. So I would say that Nick stuff was the goriest. Yeah,

I say here. What about a door to do a door anything about this episode?
Well, of course, I liked seeing my old Sammy. Yay. And I was happy at the end when Bobby kind of cleared up what he had said because it was a good God.
Yeah, that's harsh. I adored that. It picks up literally right where the season finale crazy ended. Yeah, that was nice. And I loved again, the transition of the little road so far recap into the beginning of the episode. Like you and I were both not prepared. We were waiting for it to fade to bat black and then pick up and then we'd know the episode was starting. And then it was just like it showed it. And then we realized, oh shit, this is it.
We're really Oh, yeah. I think we had to hit pause and rewind and everything to get our notebooks like, there was smooth as hell. And it was really nice. So I enjoyed that. And again, I was surprised we got answers to a couple of things in this episode right away. Yeah. So that was pretty nice. I am interested. I guess the overarching theme of this season is going to be the whole Michael sword thing you know, is Dean gonna say yes or not. That dean will have a showdown with this
Nick guy. Yeah, I'm sure it'll be the finale eventually. Yeah. So I guess that's going to be the overarching theme. And, again, you know, they still aren't okay. I hope they're gonna be okay. By the end of the season, if not sooner. Yeah. I agree. We got our Sami back. It'd be nice to get our boys back. All right. So for lore, there were a few things in this episode that we could choose from, but what I decided to go
with is Lucifer. So when God created the world and everything in it, it's in quotes, he created the angels. These spiritual beings have unique roles and characteristics, but they share a common purpose. Their job is to worship God and minister to his people. Lucifer was one of God's angels, a magnificent being. The prophet Ezekiel described him as, quote, The Seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect, and beauty. So when Uriel was like, Oh my God, he's so hot. He wasn't
exaggerating. He wasn't just being dramatic. He was perfect in his ways from the day he was created. I mean, just perfect to use to perfect news to perfect. He was so hot, gorgeous. He ate. Lucifer was fully we're just gonna move past that. Have you never heard that? When somebody says she ate? No, I don't have time to explain it to you. Now. I
think I can get it. Ah,
okay. Lucifer was fully arrayed by the Creator to reflect His glory. The dazzling Angel walked in the garden of Eden, and had direct access to God. Until one day when everything changed. Lucifers splendor was his downfall. Like you said, he's too perfect. According to Ezekiel 28, he became filled with violence within everything about Lucifers appearance was a gift from God. Yet the gift inspired rebellion.
Here is what happened in Lucifers heart, according to Isaiah 1412 through 14 How you are fallen from heaven, oh, Lucifer, son of the morning. How you are cut down to the ground. You who weakened the nation's for you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the furthest sides of the north, I will ascend above the heights
of the clouds. I will be like the most Hi, Proverbs 1618 warns Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. There is no clearer example than that of Lucifer. Not only did he want the adoration of his peers, but he also wanted to be God's equal, not just God's favorite. Because of his pride, he fell from Heaven's glory was sentenced to the pits of hell, and his name was changed to Satan. When the Lord gives someone or something,
a name it has meaning. The name Lucifer means Daystar, or son of the morning, which aptly describes his intended role. His new name, Satan, means adversary, because he became the enemy of God and all his people when he defied God. In the Bible, Satan is also called the devil, the great dragon, Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons, the serpent, the ruler of his world, the father of lies, the evil one, and a roaring lion seeking someone to
devour. Yeah, in Isaiah 14, we see five statements Satan made that reveal his plan. He wants to occupy God's throne, exercise absolute authority over the angels, bring the universe under his rule, cover himself with the glory that belongs only to God and be accountable to nobody but himself. With each statement he tries to claim more of God's glory for himself. How well has his plan worked? Millions of people live in spiritual
darkness because of him. And the Bible tells us that other angels followed him in rebellion. courriel huh. Revelation 12 describes him as a great fiery red dragon whose tails wept 1/3 of the stars of heaven to earth. The stars of heaven are the angels who followed his leadership rather than gods. They are truly Hells Angels, and they work night and day to destroy mankind. So is that Zachariah and all them to? Well, no, because they're working. They want Michael to win, right?
Okay. In two Corinthians 1114, the apostle poor corn, Paul warns Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. We need to remember that Satan and his demons were once holy angels who ministered in the presence of God, far more than we know. They know what faithful angels look like and act like so they are skilled at counterfeiting the work of God's servants cartoons portrays Satan as a red devil with horns, a
pitchfork and a tail. We actually saw that talking to Yosemite Sam with this episode. It would be helpful if he were so easy to spot, but that's just not the way it is. The late Vance Havner once said, If the devil were to come to town in a body, you wouldn't find him in a nightclub or in a gambling Hall, you would more likely find him in a pulpit with a DD degree, drawing a salary for denying his own existence. Satan's tactics haven't changed. He is still a liar. Not according to him in
