Welcome to denim wrapped nightmares tipsy exchange Podcast where we explore the supernatural series, episode by episode.
over drinks, we'll discuss the lore of gore and what we adore about the Winchesters and their adventures.
I'm burly, and I'm a new fan of the series.
I'm LA, and I'm here along for the ride. Now let's get
our right. So we have on with us today, people who donated to our fundraiser. And thanks to all of you, we met our goal, we raised $530 for the entertainment community fund. So thank you guys so much for contributing. We really, really appreciate it. I shot you guys an email, so that I don't have to mess with guests waivers and things like that. We are keeping everybody on mute. But if we get to a question, and you want to chime in, share your thoughts.
Please do not hesitate. Type in the chat like Nick just did let us know your thoughts. Because I actually have a question for y'all. Because you guys know we're new to the fandom so we're learning things that will stick we'll kick it off with my question, actually. How is it? That Astroglide lube is part of the supernatural fandom? How did that happen? I regularly see Astroglide tweet about supernatural stuff from the boys. Ah, okay. Okay, that makes sense. Thank you, Teresa. That
makes sense. Look at Teresa's wall. I just saw that. Oh, my very that is a handsome wall. Okay, well, that was a question I had top of mind. I was very curious. Okay, so we're starting off with ranking, the indie movies that we've been watching. For our strike bonus episodes. Okay. So from favorite to least favorite. What was your favorite independent movie that we watched?
I liked the possession.
The possession. It was a good one. It was. I have to say that was my least favorite
figures.
I just I had to watch it three fucking times. Because I know you did say that. Yeah, it's just it wasn't bad. I enjoyed it. I'm happy. I watched it and got the full story and it was very creepy. It just didn't captivate me. It didn't keep my attention. So Theresa, just put on the chat.
I already knew that
it is it is my favorite is driven. Yes. I bought it. I own it now. I thought it was adorable. I really enjoyed driven I did I did. What would you say is your second favorite? Or actually, let's go to the chat. For those of you who've been watching the independent movies with us. Was there one that was your favorite? Nick, did you watch 30 miles from nowhere yet? I think that would probably be my second. 30 miles from nowhere is your second. Yeah, I would say 30 miles from
nowhere. And Stonehenge Apocalypse probably tie for my favorites. Really? I get it, Nick. Yeah. For different reasons. Like I really liked the concept of 30 miles from nowhere. Yeah, I liked the cast. There were some things that I feel like maybe could have been executed a little bit better. But again, like I said, I don't make movies. I don't know how budget restraints and time restraints affect all that kind of stuff. So who am I to judge? But I also thought that Stonehenge Apocalypse was so
much fun. And it was just it was so fun. And I still had kind of really bad reviews and bad response. I'm like, come on. This is the channel that brought you Sharknado it's supposed to be kind of weird. Kind of funny. kind of cheesy.
what it was. Yeah. At the time that I was awake.
I was about to say that's the one that didn't keep your attention. You fell asleep on the couch.
But I liked what I saw. I saw most of it. I wasn't really asleep.
I liked what I saw. Oh, oh. It was nice. And yeah. And then the possession I would say is last not because of any particular reason. It's just that ranking. You know that? Yeah. Driven was definitely my favorite. I'm sure everyone was shocked by that. Shocking. Oh, Nick. It is not something to watch when you're trying to relax. That's where he says shaking her head no as well. 30 miles from nowhere. It's it's like a thriller like a
psychological thriller. I wouldn't say it's soothing curl up under a blanket drinking some hot tea and relaxing kind of movie. But I mean, I guess it depends on your personality. Maybe for the FBI. There are some people who watch like true crime documentaries and they find that relaxing and soothing. I'm looking at one of them. Okay, Emily has only seen Stonehenge Apocalypse so far. Oh, gonna see the others. Yeah, driven and 30 miles from
nowhere. I don't know if the possession is available for free anymore. Oh, Rob and he's into true crime. Nick is a rock band. Oh, okay. So for our AMA, the first question I have is how did the two of us meet? I feel like LA tells the story better than I do.
Well, at the ripe old age of 15, my mother made me get a job. And I went to on the border, and I got a job as a hostess with my best friend who was just along with me while I was getting a job. And then she ended up getting a job with me as well. And we met these two fellas that were hosts at the time, too. And they were just a bunch of fun, hilarious. We started hanging out, we were buddies. And we went to a house was a party, but we just went somewhere. And you were there. And we, my cousin
was with us at the time. And she's a little not stuffy. But like, she did not appreciate what burly came barging in saying. And I, she was like, I think you said something about who are these hoes or something like that? And she did not appreciate it. And I'm just like, Who is this?
My voice tends to carry? Yeah. And that was my first meeting with you. So I got caught on camera saying Who are these hoes? Now in my defense, these guys were in a band. And they were my very good friends. And I had had more than one female tried to befriend me and me thinking, Oh, yay. Like, I have a friend because I didn't have a lot of girlfriends when I was younger. Because I don't know if you guys can see behind me. I was into like comic books, and he may on and I didn't have
a lot of girlfriends. And so I'd get so excited. I had a girlfriend it would turn out they were just trying to be friends with me because they had a crush on one of the boys in the band. So I got to wear any girls who I was meeting because the band. No, no, no, they're hoes. But guess who changed my mind? Especially. But I did get I got to know LA and now we hardly even talk to those boys anymore. Yeah, who were they?
I feel like the girls in that unit stayed friends closer longer than we were with them. Like the reason we were introduced.
Yep. So thanks guys would have fond memories. Oh. And then the next thing we have is that burly should tell us about dance. So I actually retired from Dance back in 2011. So I don't Yeah, it's been it's been that long. I snapped my ACL. So I'm like Jared paddle lucky. I don't have an ACL in my left leg. I was young. I was able to wear heels. The next day, I remember going to like the MRI thing and the guy thinking, see, like next thing out. It didn't
hurt. Oddly enough, and maybe that's because I'm a woman. She's a beast. And maybe it's because I'm obese. Now, maybe it's because I'm a ginger. I don't know. But it didn't hurt. I heard it. Like I heard it snap. But I didn't feel anything. And I was teaching a dance class when it happened. And I remember like going, Oh, that can't be good. And turning to go turn the stereo down to give some direction. And my knee like given out from underneath me while I was walking across
the room. And I was like, Oh, that really isn't good. And the next morning, I couldn't straighten my leg all the way. But again, no pain. I just couldn't straighten it. So by the time I got in for an MRI and actually got to go see the doctor, it's been like a week. And the doctor, just like I remember him putting the MRI up and showing me you see this white band right here. And I was like, yeah, he was like that's an ACL. And he threw up mine and he went, you see how there's no
white band here. That's because I literally snapped it in half it retracted completely into my thigh. Now. i i This is me in LA like conspiracy theories. And I have a conspiracy theory about my own body. My left foot has gotten bigger since I snap, don't you? Oh god, me, I swear. I've always had a bigger foot than the other but I haven't. Like I used to do that stretch and dance. So you guys are going to know what I'm talking about where you like you put the soles
of your feet. You're sitting on the ground, you put the soles of your feet together and your knees are out and you like stretch forward. Y'all know that stretch? Never has my feet been noticeably different. And now my left foot I swear it's like a half inch bigger.
Hey, question was about dance.
I don't what am I going to talk about with dance? Like how'd you get started? Like what kind of dance I was. I didn't mean to cut you hyperactive little kid and my mom was like, damn, I better stick her in a dance class. Let's get this kid out of the house. See that? That's how I got started in dance. In fact, I was doing competitive dance as a kid. And I remember that one of the judges had written down on a scorecard calm the little redhead down. Oh my mom kept it
for a while. I don't know where I don't know what happened to cuz it's gone. b I don't really I don't really have much to talk about other than, like, why I retired.
So how long did you dance? And then you did some choreography too, right?
Yeah, I started whenever I was, I want to say like kindergarten, probably something like that. And then in high school, I started teaching what type like little kids mainly like jazz tap ballet for little kids. And then after high school is one of our I started teaching modern and lyrical and doing choreography and things like that. And so I did that for like 10 years. And then the ACL snapped, and I was done.
Were you on a group you worked with? Were they on America's Got Talent or something?
Yeah. Yeah, I didn't. I didn't choreograph the number or do anything with the group. I didn't. I didn't do that. I went to the taping, because it was here in Dallas, so I went to the taping to support them. But that was it. Thank you, Becky. Yeah, if anybody ever questioned whether or not it was natural, tos, tos. Alright, so our next question, and this one's definitely going to be interactive. What was your first concert? And what was your best concert? You go back you said a
I don't know what that means. I don't remember my first one. I remember the first one that I bought tickets to go to myself. And that was blink 182 and Green Day. Nice. I do remember that. Because it was the first time I bought tickets myself. As far as best the best are really cheap back then compared to what they're now. Oh, Nick's first concert was Jimmy Buffett.
Oh my god, I
rest in peace,
love Jimmy Buffett. Real quick. My cousins and I my brother when we were little because my my dad and his sister were big fans. We literally made dances up to Margaritaville and cheeseburger in paradise. And I probably couldn't do them now. But we like would do it for them. Every time we all got together. We just thought it was wonderful. We've always loved Jimmy.
Okay, so one of the things that I always wanted to do, like I didn't teach little kids anymore. By the time I was doing choreography, they had me doing the older, more talented artistic stuff. But I did always, always, always want somebody to do a dance with little kids. And honestly, I'm shocked. Nobody has done this. If somebody's done it, I haven't seen it. But I used to beg the person who taught the little kids to please do a dance to cheeseburger in paradise with
the kids. And have each of the kids be like the ingredients to the burger. Were like ones a bun and once the lettuce and once the patty and the cheese. And like basically the dance is them putting their burger together. Yeah, like imagine them all in a line band. Like with lands. I was like, that'll be so cute. And it'll be so easy because the costumes are going to be doing most of the job. Like somebody. So if anybody out there is teaching dance, do I take take the idea? I want to see it.
That would be really easy to do it.
I don't have the patience for it anymore. But I would love to see it. I would love to see it. And these are way better than mine. What What else are there tell me?
Journey and Def Leppard.
Oh, nice.
What does it say? I just now got to the chat. It was missing from my screen. Saving Abel. More
for the group. Oh, Bryan Adams. Nice.
I know it's all I want to Beethoven.
Nice
to
Allah. Alice Cooper is a really good one. I've gone to the Oh, okay. And I think he's still touring. And the tickets are really reasonable. So if Alice Cooper comes to your town, go his feed my Frankenstein like this giant Frankenstein will come out. He does costume changes. I mean, he's, he's what? Like, he's gotta be at something. Right? Like I think is 70s 80s Probably. And he's still running around on that
stage. Alice Cooper, but I probably my best concert was Fleetwood Mac, original lineup, all of them and had really good seats, and got them for free. So it was nice. Yeah. Oh, so good. It was so good. I didn't get a lot of video. I took a few pictures, but I didn't get a lot of video because I was just singing and enjoying the concert. But yeah, I would say those are my two best. Yes. Alice Cooper and Fleetwood Mac.
You are not an old lady. I love Bryan Adams.
What does that look into your heart? And you fine. But isn't that isn't this the Robin Hood song? Rob the Robin Hood? Movie song?
I always think men and tights instead of the regular one.
That's a good one too. That's a good one too. I'm talking Costner. I know I'm not Elvis. Yeah. Huh. It's summer 69. Yes. Yeah. Who's saying they're old? We don't do that here. Teresa. No, ma'am.
Becky 98 degrees. My Thank you. My first concert was in sync. And I got to meet them only because my I don't know what her connection was my my, my oldest friend that I have now from elementary school, her mom had some sort of hookup with their manager. And we got to meet them. It was literally like a handshake down the line, but still
wasn't their manager like a creep.
I don't know if it was him or some I don't think it was him. It was somebody else. Maybe not as manager
he would have he would have tried to recruit me. I don't think it was. Was he like, were you shaking hands because he was evaluating he wasn't there to do?
No, he wasn't there. So that's why I'm saying maybe it wasn't the managers. Something else? I don't know.
Yeah. Green Day. Green Day puts on a good show, Nick. I agree. Green Bay. They're good. They're good. The Green Day Blink. Blink 182. One that I went to I do remember Green Day being phenomenal. And I remember blink 182 Travis getting in the cage. And it going up and swinging and coming out over the audience and back. It was pretty good. Wow. We went to Red Hot Chili Peppers once our seats sucked. We were in the nosebleeds. But it was still a good show.
Yeah. I wish I had seen them younger though. Because this is when they were getting a little older. But it was still good. But I also wish I could have seen them back in the day too. Yeah. With the socks.
And then I saw Coolio once because he came to my college campus and performed and I got invited backstage. Don't smoke weed with Coolio. She's telling y'all now don't do it. It's not worth it. Taylor Swift Do you Raisa?
You and me.
I was gonna say you're trying to do concert buddy.
My so my best was Coldplay when they were touring with Viva la Vida. It was so we had we were like right there next to the stage. It was amazing. Such a good show. I love that album. But I did go see Taylor Swift in this last tour that she was on the eras. And it was a damn good show. I know some people how they feel about her and everything. And I actually didn't like her. I didn't really listen to anything until 1989 on I didn't listen to some of her younger stuff. But yeah, it was
amazing. I've heard nothing but good things about her shows.
And I like that every city she went to. She donated like, I think a million or something to their food bank. Like every single city. She Nice. Yeah. And then she added those two tour dates on and then gave all the crew like an extra bonus or something too. So good lady.
All right. So the next question is what kind of music are you into? I see burly answering everything Dick Speight Well, not everything. Mostly. Not even mostly he has one album.
Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't.
I do love that album. If y'all haven't checked it out. Dick Jr. and the volunteers. My personal favorite on that album was raspberry Bray. It was I was not expecting that and I love it. I love that cover. So yeah, I do love that but LA and I honestly we're not picky when it comes to music. We love a lot of different music.
I don't have I like everything. The only thing I don't really like or understand. I think it's mostly because I don't understand it is like like death metal where it just sounds like there's like screaming and yelling.
Yeah, I just don't normally get that aggressive where like we all listen to music because it's therapeutic. You know, whatever you're trying to feel whatever you're trying to get out. That's what it is. And I agree with that. There's nothing in me that resonates with Oh my
god. I thought you were burping at first.
Oh my god.
Like Good God. No, but you on that. Did you ever watch dead to me on Netflix? I did that was like her therapy. She would go sit in her car and listen to that.
Yeah, well and for people who that resonates with awesome but you know find what find what hits your soul find what makes you feel good? What lets you clear your head you know, whatever it may be, but I'm just saying I agree with you. That kind of music doesn't do it
for ya. I have no problems with anything else though. I don't think
there's some modern day country
skip. Yeah. Like to Poppy pop stuff. Yeah,
too much pop music, a lot of pop music. That sounds the same. Skip, skip, skip. What about you guys? Anything in particular? Let's see here. Louden Swain. Yeah, that's Rob spanned radio company. Yes, that's Jensen's band. I'm just now listening to some radio company. I've listened to probably more Louden Swain than radio companies radio. That's Jensen Ackles band. And I like traces like Yes. And then she'll turn around to her wall and be like, here's here's The album.
Look at her like I knew it. I knew it. I knew it. Oh,
nice. She's got both of them. Is that a record player back there, Teresa? Yeah, yes. She's got all three albums. She said. Yeah, so
I have to check that out was Billy Moran.
Billy Moran is the guitar player on Louden Swain, but he has some his first solo album just came out. I haven't listened to it yet. But Theresa saying it's good. So okay, so we'll have to we'll have to check that out. Check that out. Next question. Do you have any hobbies? Mine is this podcast? I do the editing I do the social posts. I do all of that. So that's that's my hobby. I don't know I I was puzzle Queen over there. What do you mean? I don't know.
Well, in the last year, I've gotten real into doing some puzzles like jigsaw puzzles. It's just nice to sit there by myself and in the evening and have a cocktail work on my puzzle. If I have a couple too many it gets a little more difficult, a little more challenging. But no, I I do that. I mean, I've got I'm crazy with my dogs. So they're like my big main thing, probably. But I did sign up years ago for a hobby box. I told you about this. Oh my
god. She talks about hobby box all the time. And yeah, have you ever done a single, I have a box
i which one I have a couple stacked up. But the only reason I signed up for it was because I wanted to learn how to pick locks. It was this nice little kid learning how to pick locks and I never got that one. But um, I do have a stack that I need to start getting through. So in addition to my dogs and my puzzles, yeah.
What do y'all do for hobbies? Actually could probably use some ideas. Mm hmm. Scrapbooking. Hmm.
I have a calligraphy book with some nice pens that I need to. That's another one. I haven't done anything with.
Yeah. I should probably I could do some scrapbooking. I have a lot of pictures. Yeah. I found like some old pictures of me like in my 20s Recently, and at first was like midlife crisis and it was like, existential just like dread. And then I went you know what? In another 20 years. I'm gonna look at pictures of me now. Oh, yeah. And think the same thing. Look at that and be like, Oh my God, look how hot I was. Look how beautiful I was. So let's, let's
just skip the melodrama. And just not not even worry about it. And just celebrate. Because you know what? That guy in the parking lot told us? years ago. We still got it.
That's well that was a while ago. Hey waist.
It was before the pandemic and they did a woozy on all of us are woozy? Yeah, sure. Sure. Sure. All right. Nick likes basketball, huh? Photography. I've been thinking about getting into photography. Teresa. Should party Oh, isn't a hobby Becky?
Yes, it is it? Yes. Okay, pie like
running Becky, her dog and her dogs is her hobby to
Becky I used to work out all the time. And I was like, I loved it. I was like that weirdo that like I remember hanging out and I wish I could get
Okay, next question. How did you come up with the idea to start your podcast? So our podcast journey is honestly pretty similar to rich and Rob's we started our first podcast during the pandemic as something to just keep us busy. Keep in touch, both of us were working from home, we knew the other was being safe. So we weren't concerned about getting together with each other. We both had people who were high risk, and we were trying to be as safe as possible. What happened over
there? Like my hair, dog hair all over me and I apologize.
Sorry today, every day. Sorry. So we started a podcast called The tipsy exchange. And we'd always wanted to do something creative together. And we just kind of threw this together. Like, we'll just do this podcast because we crack ourselves up. Especially when, when we're tipsy. And we're like, maybe other people would think are funny. It'd be fine.
So we did this podcast where it was like, every week was a random ass topic that one of us just picked where it's like, Hey, I wouldn't mind learning more about this thing. Let's research this. So like we did Krampus we did aliens. We did time travel. Like we did some weird shit.
What was the one with the I kept saying it was like vortexes but it was
vile vortices. There. We researched the vile vertices. And yeah, we did an episode where we just talked about our favorite vampire movies, like just random random stuff. While we were doing that podcast We were getting to where we were struggling, coming up with new ideas, new topics to do. And during that time is when I happened to finally sit my ass down and watch supernatural. If you listen to podcasts, you know the story I didn't really pay attention until which season? Is
it? Where it's the pizza man? Where the pizza man, you're not gonna know what I'm talking about? They might. There's the pizza man scene. Oh, I thought it was like the whole series. Or it was just a scene where he's like, I learned that from the pizza man. Five. So 556 Somewhere in there. I don't think it's the season we're in now. But like five or six is whenever I finally was like, Oh, I'm gonna sit down, start paying attention. And then a few seasons later, things kept happening that I didn't
understand what was happening. I would be confused. Like, who is this person? What's going on? Like Richard Speight, Jr. I know, he's in the show later on, and he takes his shirt off. But I don't know what the context is. I don't know what's happening. I had no idea. Remember, that's all I needed to remember. But yeah, I didn't know who he was. I didn't know who his character was. I didn't, I had no idea what was happening in that episode. I was so
confused. So I was telling la like, I'm gonna start it over, I am gonna start it over and actually pay attention. And that's when we kind of decided, well, let's just do a podcast about that. Because LA was saying, I remember watching it back in the day, I wouldn't mind watching it with you. So then we shifted and decided, well, let's do a podcast about that instead. So that's how denim wrapped nightmares became a thing.
But Go Go listen to tipsy exchange.
Yeah, if you want to hear how we started as fun, the chaotic mess that we were, then tipsy exchange is, is something to check out. I had mentioned the Anunnaki or Anunnaki, or whatever, on Stonehenge Apocalypse, and somebody messaged me and was like, What did you say toward the end? Like it's giving what vibes and I said it and they were like, what's that? And I just like sent them the link to our podcast episode on the Anunnaki. Oh, Emily just started listening to tipsy exchange this week.
It's random as all hell like literally nothing. Not any episode is connected to the next. It's so random.
I saw that Genevieve pedelec. He has a book club. I need it. I want to do that. I want to start reading the books that she's read.
Teresa set or who said this is not letting me see the past. I've binged all 327 episodes in two and a half weeks. And Teresa. Oh my gosh. She watched the entire 15 season. Wow. Were you sleeping? What was going on? A little bit.
Still some of the pandemic pandemic though, right? Yeah, I can see that.
between jobs too. Oh, yeah. Okay, that'll do it. That'll do it. But if you're interested in the alien stuff that's been going on. We did a lot of aliens episodes. Okay, so what made you ladies want to start supernatural? I'm always curious what draws people to the show. So you go first, because you actually watched it when it was originally airing?
Yeah, I don't remember. I think I just saw some previous work notes. Oh, that sounds interesting. They look nice. That
looks really interesting. And so yeah,
I started watching it. And it was good. I I can't remember where I fell off. But I just know, I think I watched maybe like the first season two seasons. And then I just lost track of it.
Yeah, you'll have to remember when it was originally on. I don't even know if we had DVR yet. Where you could schedule something to record. You remember DVR? Oh, yeah. Yeah. I don't even know if we had that yet. Whenever supernatural originally started. So I didn't know about it whenever it first started. So I missed it. But I had people telling me for years, like since it first came on people telling me oh, you'd really like it. You should watch it. You should watch it. You should watch it.
There were a couple of reasons why I didn't at first, it first being I had missed so much of it already. And I didn't want to just jump into it because I didn't think I would understand what was going on. And then the other reason was, so many people kept telling me I had to watch it. You have to watch it that it made me it gave me gave the opposite effect and made me want to like dig my heels in and refuse to watch it. Yes, thank you, Nick. It was Yeah, I think whenever I finally was thinking,
okay, maybe I'll watch it. It was like seven seasons and I was just like, I'm not gonna like buy the DVDs in order to catch up again. This was before Netflix before all that. So as soon as it came on Netflix, I added it to my list. But I just never got around to it until last year. I finally was like okay, we will sit down and watch this. Let's see what these hot guys are doing. Not expecting to get into it. And here we are.
I like Theresa said she's still getting paid severance. So
nice. Get that money. Yeah.
Sit back and get that money. You know,
before y'all started watching supernatural had you ever heard of any of the actors? I definitely heard of Jensen Ackles before, but I don't know, you could have put up a picture of him and that I would have been able to say, oh, that's Jensen. Ackles. Yeah, I think he's but I can do it now. Trust me. I can do it now. But yeah, I don't think I'd heard of any of the rest of them. And I like I've seen waiting. So I knew I'd like Rob just has frickin eyes
and everything. Like, when I saw Rob, I knew I'd seen him before. But I had to google it to figure out where I had seen him before. And it was waiting.
Really? I need to rewatch that. I don't. Well, you never wait a table. I
didn't. I didn't. I enjoyed the movie, but it just it didn't hit me in the same way as so many people that I knew. Yeah. Did you know any of the actors before we started the show? Yeah, you weren't a Gilma Gilmore Girls girly.
So you know, I didn't know who he was at all. Jensen was the only one I think I seen that face before.
Okay, so our next question, if you were put in the supernatural world, would you be a hunter or a monster? And if a monster which one?
We talked about this, and originally I said Hunter, but then you reminded me that angels are monsters.
I would either be an angel or a trickster where you can snap stuff into existence. Sign me up.
Yeah, I was thinking I was like, Oh, I'll be a hunter do gooder.
Yeah, I remember you saying that earlier. But as like, you know, either trickster snap things into existence, you know, social justice all that. Or like, I'm real dramatic. And I like starting shit. I'd be a good angel. I'd be a real good angel. Uriel. I'm like, Yeah, I'd be like Urial plumbing on two legs. We're talking down.
God. He said that and I was like,
God, he's right. Okay, Nick said he'd be a hunter. Somebody else said they came over from the walking dead because of Jeffrey Dean Morgan. So were you really disappointed whenever he wasn't in it all that much. Like he was in it quite a bit first, but then gone. Most people are saying yeah, I'd probably just end up dying. Right? You'd be one of the people that the hunters tried to come and save and they fail. They fail. You know? You'd be like Madison, Madison was a
werewolf. She was a monster. Oh, yeah. Any one of you could be a monster or could kill monsters. Like, build up the delusion, the imaginary world. You can do it. Like the Walking Dead. LA and I used to be super into the Walking Dead. And we would have these long conversations where we would plan out what we were going to do if there was a zombie apocalypse. If we're going to be realistic, we're both gonna die. Like that's it
like, but realism Come on. No. So in our fantasy, like, we're gonna go to Costco, and we're gonna take the whole thing down, we're going to shut it down, lock it down. And then we're gonna go to the roof with our Sniper guns. That's not a movie, and a movie. It wasn't whenever we made our plan. Did somebody do it? Okay. I'm pretty sure. Yeah. Because we were like saying everything we would need would be in the Costco like, we'd be able to hang out there
for a while. But I mean, in reality, we wouldn't make it.
Yeah, no, I probably die trying to save my dogs. Honestly,
I just die trying to run more than a mile. I'd be it for me.
Honestly, right now.
Which supernatural location would you guys like to do a road trip to? So this question can be interpreted two different ways. First, it could be interpreted as a location from the actual show. And second, it would be interpreted as like a haunted spot or something. And we actually went to the most supposedly the most haunted town in Texas. We went to Jefferson, Texas, and spent a weekend there. And we had some fun. We didn't experience
anything really. We went on a ghost walking tour, there was this annoying little kid who kept like following the tour, and tried to scare people. It did not appreciate him. But it was a fun little trip. And as far as in supernatural, where would I want to go? Didn't we decide Mystery Spot?
Yes, yeah. Well, well, and then I tried to look up if it was an actual real place, and whatever it was, it was like, I don't know if this is really what we're thinking. But I was gonna say it was a cute little town, didn't we do or episode of Jefferson on Tipsy exchange? Yes. Yeah.
Yeah. If you want to hear more about our Jefferson trip, we go into a lot of detail. We had some things happen that we couldn't really explain, but I wouldn't say they were necessarily supernatural.
Yeah. And we stayed at the hotel that inspired the Excelsior House Hotel, Steven Spielberg to do poltergeist.
Yeah. And we stayed in the haunted room. I I wanted to do things to fuck with you and our friend who went with us, but I promised them I wouldn't. So I didn't. And then the next morning I told them what I was thinking about doing but that I didn't get up and do and our friend was like, oh, you should have done it. That would have been funny. And then I was so mad that I did that. I didn't do it, but she probably I feel like yeah, I feel like if I had done it she would have been mad Yeah.
Going to go hang out with oh and the bunker we aren't. We aren't to the bunker yet. I know what the bunker is, but LA has no idea what you're talking about. I remember the bunker I don't remember why they were with Dean. Okay. I don't remember how they got there. And I remember why they were there. Okay, don't tell me. I don't want to know. The Roadhouse all ash. Oh, my heart. That
was such a bummer. That was such a waste. Hopefully. I was like, maybe, maybe he's not. Oh.
Does he? Does he come back? Don't tell me. Don't tell me Don't tell me. Ah. So sad. Okay, actually been the New Harmony. Indiana. Waverly Hills Sanatorium? Oh, I did go on. I didn't see what was here. I went I went on a trip with the Ghost Hunters when they were a thing. My mom and I went on an Old Navy vessel and did a ghost hunting trip with the ghost hunter on a Friday. I forgot about that. And that was really cool. It's a Galveston. No, it was Cape Fear, I think, Oh, is that a real
place? You tell me you were sure. You were there was like North Carolina or South Carolina I can't remember. And so we went and did that. And we got with these two guys that were there together. And I found out I'm sensitive to electromagnetic stuff, Stonehenge apocalypse, I would have felt it, I wouldn't have needed a Geiger counter. If I was sexy as scientists, Jacob, I would have just known from my body, that it's electromagnetic. So like they had these
generators everywhere. There was other people who were sensitive to it too, because they would enter the room before us and I would hear them go, oh, I can feel it. I can feel the ghosts. I can feel the blah, blah, blah. Now I remember like rolling my eyes being like, What the hell are they talking about? And then entering the room and feeling the same thing like immediately that uncomfortable feeling you get when somebody's watching you? Or when somebody gets close to you. And you don't know
someone's there. But you can feel it, you know I'm talking about was that it was like that. And so immediately, it was feeling uncomfortable. Immediately. I was like, Oh my gosh, what is that? And then I figured out later on at any time, I was near one of the generators that was happening. And so I asked Jason, one of the Ghost Hunters about it. And he said, Yeah, like that's the electromagnetic field around it. You're just sensitive to that. And I was like, oh, okay, good
to know. I'm a walking EMF detector. And then there was this. We were in this the barracks is that where they all sleep? I might be making up words of the ship. Yeah. It's like where they all slept, right? We were in there. And somebody who was with us started saying the sailors creed. I don't know what this is. He could be making it up. But everybody's little EMF detector things like everybody in the room who had one. All of them went to green while he was saying it. So that was kind of
crazy. But yeah, we had we had fun. Jason and grant we're very sweet. I got yelled at. We were going down the stairs that I don't know if you guys have ever like toward like a Navy boat that the stairs are almost like a ladder. And my mom was in front of me and it was fucking freezing outside. It was so cold. I would have been like holding on to her. She refused. She was like, I don't need help.
So she's going down and she's going like step together step together really slow down the ladder steps and I'm like telling her just turn around and go down at like a ladder like people are behind me like teeth chattering is so cold. And she's just taking your time. And when we got to the end of the stairs Jason was like that's your mother. Don't you yell at her like he got really he got I know. I was like oh my Mr. Haas so I got scolded, typically worth it.
We've also both been to the Stanley
Oh yeah. Oh my god. Okay, the Stanley Hotel in times. Yeah. Did you have anything happened while you were there?
No, it was a bummer. It was a beautiful night though. Like we didn't expect it to snow. And my room was 80 degrees. So we opened the windows and it ended up snowing and it was beautiful time we we did go on the nighttime go sewer but
I went on the go store and they take you into like a concert hall or whatever. And they took us down underneath the concert hall where there's like the dressing rooms and things like that. See? Yeah, so we go down there. And we were told to go into this room and that they were going to turn off the lights and shut the door. work. So I said, Okay, I'm gonna go and the friend who was with me was like, I'm not going in there. I'm staying out here. So I was like, Okay, I'm gonna go
in there. So I posted up in the corner because I didn't want anybody to be close enough to be able to touch me with the lights off, he shuts off the lights, and they're talking and they start singing Ring around the rosie for some reason, I still don't remember why. And then all of a sudden, I hear this knocking behind me and like my ass cheeks are reverberating
with the knocking. And so I immediately just started going like, like swinging my arms around, because I was convinced somebody had caught over close to me and was banging on the wall that I was leaned up against. So I start yelling, like, there's some turn on the light turn on light, my friend from outside was like, I could hear you. Why were they on the outside, they didn't want to come in there because they knew the light was gonna get turned off. So they're like, I'm just
gonna stay out here. So I'm like, oh, no, somebody's fucking with me turn on the light. I don't want to be in here. Turn it on. So they turn it on. And I'm leaned up against like a sealed off door that they're saying leads to the tunnels, but they've closed it off, because it's too dangerous or whatever. So I'm convinced it's just it was the setup that somebody was on the other side of the door knocking on it. They knew the tour was in there, whatever. So I don't think it was a real
experience. But Did it scare the shit out of me? Yes, yes, it did. I wonder if
you go and read the reviews if anybody else has had that experience? I never
thought to do it. Okay, let's get through these last two questions. So question, Sam, or Dean Jensen or Jared and why you guys, let us know in the comments. I am of the mind of why do I have to pick? It's my fantasy world. I'm telling you like, I'm not picking between the two. And if I do have to pick one, the Trickster or Richard Speight, Jr. is right there. I'll take that if I have to pick one. But why is it so limited? Why is it what is it you have to pick between the
two? But I don't have to That's my point. But they want you to who wants me to whoever asked the question. Oh, if I, okay, so, like I have to, I don't have a choice I have to pick between, okay, Sam or Dean or Jensen or Jared? If I'm looking to start some shit, Dean, or Jared would be the pick there. If I'm looking to like, just have a drink and chill out and have a good time, Sam, or Jensen? Those would be my picks,
but depend on what I'm gonna do. Did you just give both of them for both answers? Well, I'm
saying the fictional version that I would pick and I'm saying the real life version that I would owe based on the scenario, like in real life if we're gonna question Richard Speight Jr. The Trickster is my answer. That's my answer. Final answer. All right, was it? Well, then, what's your answer?
Well,
let me look at it that way. I'm Sam Jensen. Dean Jensen. depends on what's happening. That's what I'm saying. depends on what's happening. What are we doing? Where are we going? True. You know, I need to know I need some information. Yeah. Still my final answer. I'm good. Okay. You haven't answered?
Well, I was literally going to answer the question between Sam and Dean because that was the question and not go. Well, then to help me outskirts because then that gets too complicated for me.
Well, Sam or Dean, I already know who you're going to pick because you are very angry with Sammy right now. Well, not my Sammy.
I mean, normally I feel like my go to would be Jensen, but
Jensen told Jared told you to fuck off and squeezed your shoulder that's Jared at the conventions, Jared
not Sam. Okay. Okay, I go with Sam.
Really? You're so mad at him right now? I am but okay. And then Jensen or Jared?
No, I think I want to change my first answer. We have heard
Jared. Jared and Sam. Really? I'm surprised I know. Me too.
It's just today.
I feel like we know who Teresa would pick between Jared or Jensen just look at the wall. True. God He's beautiful. He's so pretty. It's just a really is.
And he grew up like city away from us.
I know. I know.
How did I not run into him? Like that would have like totally happened. But
I didn't know a lot of people who were in Richardson when I was in high school. Yeah, I was in Garland. Same. Three walls. Three more walls full. Oh, really? Nick is saying Jared Nick would pick Jared I'm surprised Hey, why I just Oh, look at that.
I can't see a wait. Oh, dang.
All right. Our last question. I've been asked a lot. Are you going to do another supernatural rewatch episode soon? We are resuming our rewatch episodes on Saturday, September 16. We've taken into consideration what a lot of other fan Ron Reese watch podcasts are doing. We've done more than a lot of other podcasts to be honest with our paws and our fundraiser and everything. We've carefully read the FAQs regarding the strike. And we're ready to get going
again. So Saturday, September 16. Yes, denim wrap nightmares. Season Four will resume its episodes. Becky said Thank goodness. So we're back to answer the question. And that's it. That's the last of the questions. So thank you guys for joining us. We really appreciate it. And again, thank you so much for contributing to the fundraiser. We were we really cut it in there at the last minute on the last day a bunch of people went and donated, and
we exceeded our goals. So we're really happy about that, that we were able to contribute because we do stand by the strike. We believe in what they're fighting for. And we will or I will continue to be annoying about sharing stuff on our Instagram and Twitter, posting in support of the strike, but we are resuming our episodes. Thank you guys so much. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
I thank you so much.
