First things first. I got curious and I was Googling like what a Tom Collins is and you're right. It's a gin drink. But I found out a colons is basically a sour cocktail. made using a base spirit, usually chin, lemon juice, sugar, and carbonated water. I have a proposal to rename the Tom Arnold to the Misha Collins and stead.
I mean, I feel like it was probably more appropriate.
So the motion passed? Yes. Okay, well then granted. Yay. To start this episode, then LA and I are both enjoying a refreshing Misha Collins. Huh? Just two shots of Tito's vodka mixed with sugar free vitamin water. lemonade flavor. Pretty tasty.
All right. Well, back to business. Back to business. The last episode I forgot the name of it. Wishful thinking. I knew that. Sam and Dean investigated a small town where the wishing well really worked for the people. A whole teddy bear came to life life sized teddy bear. And someone won the lottery and the town geek got a hot girlfriend. But when the brothers realized that everyone in town was happy now the end result was that it would be disastrous for everyone in the
end. And so they had to get rid of that Wishing Well.
Today's episode is titled I Know What You Did Last Summer. And it's the ninth episode of season four. originally aired on November 13 2008. The episode opens up to this adorable little redhead, just kind of staring off into space. And she's being interviewed by I'm guessing a psychiatrist through the conversation we find out that she believes she's hearing angels, and that the end is near the apocalypse is about to
happen. She's talking about the 66 seals and Lillith and all of this so Ellie and I were both like, oh, okay, so she's legit. She actually is hearing this shit. The doctors just kind of explaining to her that, you know, you're just having a hard time and you just need to stay here. As Anna is laying in her bed drawing pictures really pretty pictures by the way, like super talented little artists here. One of the orderlies comes in to check on her and he locked the door behind him which is a
little shady. And then when he turns to face her, she's like, Oh my god, your face and his eyes go black, and he's there to get her. And it turns out Anna is not only hearing angels, but she's also telekinetic, because she stares at this giant ass dresser that's in her room and it slides across the floor, slamming the orderly into the door and Anna escapes. And then we have supernatural Flippity flop flip flop. Next up we see Sam bent over a pool table. Barely. It's not as interesting
as you would think. He's drunk supposedly scamming some guy out of his money at a pool table acting like he's wasted getting him to like double the bid and Dean's coming over and adding it in like being like, No, you can't do this. You're too drunk. You're too drunk. And right after he breaks on the game and is clearly not actually drunk and they've totally just swindled this guy. He looks over and sees rubies sitting in the bar. He just tells the guy keep the money and walks away.
Yeah, like immediately. Yeah, not even sure I'll be right back.
Well, or play it cool. Pretend like you're about to puke and grab the money and then walk off. Yeah, like why are you gonna leave the money? I don't I still don't understand why that was needed. Dramatic
shows how much he just likes Ruby's got it. Yeah, cut things off. Right?
He's got to leave that $500 on the table and walk away. Dean is definitely like, What the fuck are you serious? Why are you leaving the money like what the hell? Anyway, they go over to an art to Ruby. And Ruby is telling them about Anna Milton who was the young, cute little redhead that we saw at the beginning of the episode, talking about how she's escaped from like a mental institution and that demons are looking for her everywhere. She doesn't know
what's going on. But that the order is to bring Anna back alive, which means She must be super fucking important for some reason. Dean is not buying it. He doesn't believe Ruby. Sam is 100% into it like yeah, wait, we're gonna go we're gonna go look into this. So
tension is tight between Ruby and oh, yeah, Dean Dean's definitely
making sure Ruby knows that he is not a fan. They're in the Impala making the drive. It's like three days away. Sam is talking about how they've made longer drives for less. And we should check this out. Dean is still I don't understand why you trust her so much. Why do you trust Ruby? She could be lying. She could be leaving us on a trap she could be doing who knows what she's a fucking demon. Why should we trust her.
And Sam says, I just do and this triggers a flashback to right after Dean's death and the season three finale. We see Sam, obviously drunk sincerely, this time with a bottle. He's got a handle of liquor that he finishes off and throws it away. He's buried a little box at a crossroads and summoned a demon. And he's trying to get the demon to deal. He's not just trying to deal his soul for a year. He's trying to say, let me trade places with Dean. It's a fair
deal. Let me go to Hell bring Dean back.
Which I mean, Sammy, really hot, they're gonna go for that.
They didn't. Obviously, the demon said no deal. No one's gonna deal with you. Recently, we were talking about the knife. And do you have like have to kill the vessel to kill the demon with the knife? And we got our answer. So I made the right call by not spending any time researching that on my own. The demon had his hand out on a barrel, and Sam stabbed him with the magic knife. And it did the fleshy flashy thing but the
demon was still alive. I guess if you don't make a fatal shot to the vessel that the demon still lives it just really hurts the demon a lot because he was obviously in pain. I mean, he had a knife through his hand. Anyway, so that mystery has been solved. You do have to kill the vessel to kill the demon. Yeah. Hey, we got one answer. One down.

I also thought it was interesting in the car when Dean was trying to get Sam to talk to him and Sam wasn't wanting to. We got Sammy sassy pants, who was all like, oh, yeah, sure. Let's trade stories. Dean. Why don't you tell me about your time in hell don't spare the details. I was like, Ooh,
not cool. Sassy.
I'm gonna say it's
a little different. How?
I mean, he was in hell. Sam was galavanting around Ruby. I mean, it's a little different.
But if I was dean, I would want to know more to why he trusted Ruby so much, for sure. Yeah, I mean, braided into season three. They were he was trusting her a little bit more like wanting to summon her. And yeah, I don't I think that Sam just likes the idea that he's special and powerful. Even if it might not be from a good place. I think he likes it. Yeah, I can see that because she told them at the end of season three that he was a psychic bomb and only he could kill Lilith and data
did it. Like she told them all that back then. And I think he's kind of been seduced by that. Yeah, but he's the only one He's the chosen one. Like, it turns him on, I guess because things happen.
I wasn't ready for it. Like it's not like they're both trading off some more stories. You know, it's like Dean was in hell can't even describe what he was experiencing seeing. Sam would just hear what you did with Ruby. You know,
jeans like I experienced tortures on like the human mind can even comprehend and Sam's like, Oh, really? I got laid? Yeah. Okay, follow your folly here. Now. Sam and Dean, go to the hospital and talk to the doctor who was interviewing Anna at the very beginning of the episode. And she has Anna's sketchbook with all those really cool drawings. Like I really liked them.
They were really well done and what they said something about the witness. It was the rising
of the witnesses, which was the episode with the Sexy Kitchen meet cute. Mm. And then it said, raising Sam Hain goddamnit. Raising sawin Yes, I think that's what I saw when I saw when I saw it. Yeah, I think it said that. I missed that. I didn't see that. Yeah, well, that was the one they were looking at it. They showed it for only a second. really freaking cool. That's the one that when Dean saw it, he went revelations and the doctor went since winter jacket lanterns and
revelations. But it was really cool artwork. And she specifically said Anna was a journalism major and I was like it'll shoot us and she was an art major. You're right, that would have made more sense. It would have made more sense with the sketchpad and how amazing she was. Anyhow, they're starting to realize, okay, Anna really is hearing angels just like we did at the beginning of the bus episode, but the shits
legit. They go to her parents house, because they're thinking, okay, that's where she's going to be first. And unfortunately, demons had beat them there and slit her parents throats like both of them. And it wasn't any more gory than anything we've seen on the show before, but just the way they were laying in this quintessential living room with all the family pictures. It was just really sad. It really was when I
feel like it's like an unnecessary death to like, they didn't have to kill them. You know,
as Sam and Dean are looking through the pictures, they see their family church. Her dad was a minister, I think something Yeah, something at the church. And they noticed that there's a stained glass window on the church that is in one of Anna sketches. Dean points out, you know, if you were religious and scared and had demons on your ass, where would you feel the most safe church. They tracked her to the church. And when Anna escaped to the hospital, she was in a white V
neck and blue scrubs. They go into the church and they're calling out for her and Sam says I'm Sam. This is my brother, Dean. She's like Sam, Sam Winchester and comes out of her little hiding spot. And she has this posh little outfit on this cute jacket. This fitted white V neck that showed off her clavicle and breastplate, perfectly cute little jeans, great little boots. So I'm like, did she find that in the lost and found in the church? Did she go get her belongings before she
escaped the hospital? Where did this little outfit come from? I do not know me. She looks real cute. But what happened to the shirt and scrubs? It's a mystery. Well, here's that lost and found. I want to go rated. She's come out and she's like Sam Winchester, your dean, the dean. Say Sam like rolls his eyes. And he's like, Yeah, I guess I am. They chat and Dean validates her. He's like, you know, so they thought you were crazy. But really you were just tuning into ANGEL radio. And he
was like, yes, exactly. Thank you so much. Fucking listening. Finally. Ruby comes into the room and says, Hey, we gotta get the fuck out of here. There is a big time demon on your ass. He's coming here now. We will not be able to take him on our own. Like we have to go. Dean is speculating a Why'd you bring the demon here? And she's like, No, he followed you from her house having a little bit of an argument. And then they look over and they see that a Virgin Mary statue has started to cry
blood. Yeah. And Ruby goes Fuck, it's too late.
I also thought it was interesting. When they asked Anna when the she started to hear the angels. No, no, I forgot about this the same day. Dean got out of hell. So it's like that. I guess Dean getting out of house at all this in motion?
Yeah. She said the very first thing she heard was clear as about Dean Winchester is saved. I loved how she was kind of acting like they were celebrities. Like they tell the angels they talk about you know your time, like casting Hills saves you from hell, and they think that you might be able to save us Dean and Sam. A lot of them just don't like you know, it was really funny. Now coming back to Ruby real quick. That was a church. And Ruby was
there. Oh, yeah. Back in. I made a note here back in season one salvation. It opened up with Meg going into a church and talking to pastor Jim. And him being like, this is hallowed ground. You can't be her and her saying, you know, I'm a big time demon or something. It got me thinking, what if Ruby is Meg, because Meg masters was the human that that demon possessed. And then that same demon possessed Dwayne and Croatoan. And then that same demon possessed Sam and born under a
bad sign. What if that's been Ruby all along? Like we know she wanted to get in Sam's pants back in season one.
I don't know. Interesting.
I mean, obviously, like, if that one could go into a church, other demons could so maybe she's just like, not a minor league demon just like Meg was but what if it's the same one because she used
to be a human. Just kidding.
She's special demon. She remembers her humanity. Well, the badass demon that Ruby was warning them about shows up. They hide Anna in a closet. Dean and Sam tried to take on this team and he fucks them up. And while he's fine Getting his eyes go white like villas, and he also is all like hey Dean. Don't you remember me? We were besties in hell. And Dane says, Alistair, so we've got a name. Also, he telepathically like through Sam across the room over
some stairs. And la really loved the noises that Sam made as he went flying.
I don't know. It struck me funny,
when the guys realize they cannot beat this guy that the knife didn't even do anything. I mean, it clearly hurt him. But it didn't kill him. They decided to just completely bail and jump out of the second story window. Leaving the knife with this mega demon. Yeah. Alistair Oh, yeah. I like Mega demon though. That would have been a much cooler name. If he was like, Don't you remember we Dean? Dean went mega G Man. We cut to the guys in their hotel room. And they got fucked
up. Yeah, I know. It was kind of a little hot.
Oh, yeah. Sam stitching his own. Yeah.
Oh, yeah. And the shoulder having the get popped back in. I don't know why.
We're just like Unreal. What did it take? It's
just we just haven't seen them actually suffering the consequences like this before? Yeah, I mean, the closest we've seen was Sam cutting up his shirt to the nipple and Mystery Spot and having to like, do whatever to that bullet wound. Just I guess just knowing they're capable, like taking care of themselves. Doing the damn thing is kind of what made it a little like, Ooh, what's
going on here? Dean is worried that Ruby has just followed them to the church brought that demon with them to distract the guys and took Anna and has taken her back to the demons. But Sam is convinced No. Like she's keeping Anna safe. It's fine. She'll let us know where she is as soon as she can. Dean insists again. Why do you trust Ruby so much? I mean, he said this way earlier in the episode that you're practically treating her like
family. So Sam finally decides to come clean and tell Dean everything that Ruby had saved his life a couple of times. She got a different body was a coma victim. And she made sure the spirit was gone before she took the body to show Sam she was serious. She tried to be really empathetic with Sam. You know, she used his grief to seduce him and get laid. Oh, yeah. It was a real hot scene. I was yes. Good. Kudos wasn't ready. No. Like, I
didn't see it common. Like she like grabbed him and kissed him. And he was like, No. And then she followed him over to the couch. And I swear she took his hand and like shoved it down her pants is what it seemed like, waiting. You couldn't see it very clearly. But it seemed like that's what was going on. And then he just couldn't resist anymore. Like they kept making out and kept going for it and kept going down. I was like, Oh
my god. Clothes taken. Yeah, we just didn't pants flying everywhere, all that and then it cuts back to the motel room. With Dean being like too much information. I didn't need all that and say I'm just kind of shrugging, which then has me visualizing Sam sitting there being like so, you know, we started making out and so I picked her up and then she straddled me. And I took her shirt off. And I was like rubbing up and down on her back.
And she was kissing on me. And I was like, grimacing and like, Oh, I was so high. Like, why would he needed to go into all that detail?
He's probably just been thinking about it so much. Like, just didn't even remember he was talking to Dean about it.
I mean, I'm convinced this wasn't the last time they hooked up. Oh, wait. Yeah, I've seen them looking at each other. Yeah, but that first time, but I did think that was hilarious. Because like, why would so he was sitting there telling him details about this, about getting laid. Why? And especially because Sam space was so serious whenever this was happening, like, he wasn't even like laughing or anything. Hey,
he's like, bro, you said you wanted to know. You're telling me all the details.
Sam explains that Ruby saved him and he you know, he actually saved Ruby and they were gonna kill the lift together get vengeance together. yatta yatta yatta yatta yatta. Not a lot of knew nothing we didn't know, as an audience already know. And I'm assuming not anything that Dean didn't really know, either. It felt like it was supposed to be like a big reveal. And it just wasn't like we knew. Yeah, but the scene was hot. Oh, yeah. We hear a knock at the hotel room door
and it's a maid. And this maid has been my favorite version of Ruby so far. She was sassy. She was wonderful. I loved her. Her scene wasn't even a minute long, but she came in, gave them an address. Pretty much told Sam okay, yes, I'm possessing a maid. Excuse me. I had to find a way to get in. here to let you guys know where I was. There's demons in the hallway. There's demons in the parking lot. They're fucking everywhere Excuse me. And then she leaves. Sam and Dean get out through the
bathroom window. They don't take the Impala and they go to this cabin where Ruby and Anna are hanging out. And it tells them she's perfectly fine. And Ruby is not like other demons. It's just it's getting emphasized too much. Yeah. You know, is she special? Is she Meg? I don't know. Something is bothering me. Maybe she is maybe she's a good guy. What is it? What do they call it? The anti heroes. Maybe she's gonna be one of those. Why doesn't she do witchy stuff? What do you mean? She used to be
a witch? Oh, that's right. I forgot about that. Why don't we ever see her do witchy stuff. I want her to start doing some witchy stuff. We haven't seen her do anything with that since she poured that black stuff in Dean's throat, which threw him on the bed. Hmm.
Maybe all this time. She's like, okay, which brother? Maybe Dean was intriguing because he didn't like or you know?
Yeah. But then he got tore up by hellhounds. She was like, okay, decision made for me. Yeah. But if it's Meg, that's who she was, after all along, right? Remember her getting on his lap and licking his cut up face? In that one? Oh, yeah. She wanted it. Yeah. Is it Meg? Am I right? I don't know. No. Well, while they're in the cabin, Anna asks about her parents. And this is the second time she's asked about her
parents. They were able to avoid it at the church because Ruby came in and interrupted them. But this they kind of have to tell her like, We're sorry. She gets really upset and then just like snaps out of it and is like, oh shit, this the angels, their hair, their hair. And of course, they have to make a dramatic entrance. Oh, yeah. So the door just like flings off its hinges. It gets thrown open. And then there's a pause. And then Cassie L and Uriel come walking in. We're here bitches.
No. Hi. Hello, Devon. I just like stand there. And they say we're here for Anna. She has to die. Bom bom bom. And it's to be continued up. Oh, they insulted Ruby to
Oh, yeah. What did he say?
I just remember them Be like, basically,
we called her a stain. Yeah,
that's what it was. I was thinking it was trashed. But you're right. He called her a stain. What are you doing here with that stain. Like down you she's getting it hard this season. And like I said, I don't like I'm not a fan of Ruby. But she
did get it real hard.
She goes she or did she give it real hard? Oh, oh no. Thank Ruby would peg somebody. This episode was written by Sarah gamble and directed by Charles Besian. I'm sorry if that was a mess. Guys. The back and forth always gets me. It always throws me off whenever they do the flashback and then present day and then flashback and present day. Just don't do well with it. Okay, Gore. The parents. Yeah. It was pretty
gory. But yeah, otherwise it was just a little bit like stamp stitching himself up was a little gory. We had like blood coming out of Sam's nose. Ruby got a little bloody when she was getting beat up. Whenever they tried to trap Sam. He thought he was going to kill Lilith and it wasn't her. Oh, I forgot something important. One of the things that Sam said as to why he trusted Ruby, is because she basically brought him back from
the brink. He was going to go find Lilith, even though he knew he wasn't gonna be able to take her on and let Lilith kill him and Ruby called him on it that he was going on a kamikaze mission. And he said Ruby said to him the things that Dean would have said so I guess that that is kind of important thing right?
And then the when they were at the cabin at the end, and deem like makes the piss poor attempt of like an apology, kind of Thank you toward Ruby. So awkward.
I did like Genevieve Ruby in that scene, too. She she was giving Sass where it's not conceited. I know something you don't know. I'm not gonna say I'm starting to like her. But she doesn't annoy me anymore at all. So far. I haven't found her. Yeah. I still don't trust her though. I think I think she's Meg.
I know you. I really do.
I think that's gonna be a big reveal that it's actually Meg. Okay, now whether or not she's actually good or not, I don't know.
We'll see.
She's still she's still working for Azazel somehow, even though he's dead. Yeah. And Alistair had the white eye He's like Lilith. So what's that mean? Is he more powerful than Azazel? Are they more powerful or less powerful? What are the white eyes? yellow eyes? black eyes like what's the rank here?
Seems like the white would be more powerful. This one is seeming like they've been. Yeah. These are more questions you need answers. Yeah,
lots of questions. I like I said, we got one question answered in the steps with the knife. We got one Yeah. And then we got some confirmation like we knew they they be fucking Yeah. We knew Sam trust Ruby now that they were like a team. Okay, so Gore, we already kind of talked about that. We won't revisit that. Was there anything you adored this episode?
Well, besides the sounds that came out of Dr. Salmond
he was thrown thrown by the by Aleister Shu. Like rewind it. I mean, it was realistic. I'll give that yeah, it was really realistic. But once you made me rewind it and play it. I was like, Okay, that was kind of funny. I liked them getting in on good sexy. Yeah, that was a really good sexy, it was high. They married each other. I know, adulation. Right? They get to do that for real.

Good job. I liked the maid Ruby. Oh, that's right. Yeah, her scene was very short. But I liked it. It was good. I enjoyed her

and Alistair I'm I wouldn't say I adore it. We didn't really get to see much from the actor. But he was all business to like he came in it was just like not playing it. Oh, yeah. I'm intrigued. This Alistair I kind of like his name. Alistair. Oh, Anna, I am interested with this Anna check.
She's gonna die. So don't get too attached.
I mean, if I had to go, Castile and Muriel were who came to take me. Things could be worse. You know?
Oh, yeah. Well, since Anna spoke to Angel, nope. Since Anna could hear angels.
Oh, you're right. Because they like we're like you speak to him. And she's like, No, no, but I hear them.
She's just eavesdropping. Yeah. We're there are seven shocking ways angels speak to you every day. According to this, like Central website. Angels. The word conjures up mental imagery of translucent beings attached to wings, but are angels real? There does exist an intersection between human spirituality and general
psychology. The person that wrote this article says they had the opportunity to sit down with a native Indian healer named Ben, who regularly infuses elements of spirituality into his his practice as a shaman. And he said that while the term Angel may be subjective, its meaning is universal. He defines an angel as a messenger from a higher power that some call God, angels are sent to guide us and teach important life lessons. angels speak to us each day. It
didn't know that. Me neither. So they were intrigued by what Ben said. So they kind of like dove into it and found that these are the seven ways that they can speak to us, which I don't know about the the first one is in your dreams. You may not recognize them or remember them upon waking. But it says like to heighten your awareness of dream time communications from your angels spend a few minutes speaking to your angels before
you go to sleep. Ask them to visit you and your dreams and share an important insights that you may no need or no, no may need to know. Okay, keep a notebook and a pen by your bed so that if you wake up in the middle of the night, you can write down your dream and jot down any other details that you might remember. And then over time, you might start receiving messages from your angels, why you dream and then it'll improve as you go your ability to recall any of the anything of
importance. So this is their example.
I can tell by your facial expression that this is going to be well really great. So
I feel like so for example, if you have been dreaming about someone with brown eyes, it may be a message from beyond that suggests you need to become warmer or more open to someone you love. So basically, I just didn't understand that but whatever. Alright, number two is feelings and physical sensations. Sometimes your angels will get your attention through physical sensations like tingling, a feeling of warmth
spreading over you. A light touch on your hand, or a feeling of someone gently stroking your hair or even a tangible presence with you in the room. Sounds like ghosts to me. This often happens when you're frightened or sad about something and your angel wants to comfort you. And when you feel those sensations. You need to be sure to acknowledge them you need to say thank you angels. I can feel your you are here with me and I'm grateful for the your love
and support. Short. I feel like sometimes I'll be like laying down. And I feel like somebody put their hand on my hip. Like if I'm like laying on my side. Really? Yeah. So what is what's my angel trying to tell me?
Maybe they're trying to get you to lay on your back instead, huh? Or like, your alignment is not good. It's true lady.
All right. Number three is verbal communication. Like Anna, your angels may also communicate in more obvious ways, like speaking directly to you, you may hear a voice either inside your head or a voice that seems to come from outside of you even when no one else is around. Crazy. Not really, very often this will happen when your angel needs to share some vital information that will keep you safe. It says they may say things like obey the speed limit, or don't take the freeway
today. It says this kind of communication can be difficult to believe at times, you may wonder if you're just imagining the voice, and you may be even tempted to dismiss it. But even if you have doubts whether about your angels are really speaking to you, it's a good idea to follow their advice you hear because most of the time that will help you avoid some unpleasant experiences.
So the only thing I can think of where something just comes into my head, and it doesn't seem to have been inspired by any external source. Like it's I haven't heard it recently. I haven't seen anything that would have made me think of it. Or like random songs. That will pop in my head. Yeah, yeah. I guess I could see that. Like I had like shiny happy people by REM stuck in my head all morning. I even ended up using it on like a social post. But it was in my head
before that. I can't tell you the last time I heard that song. But why? What's the meaning behind what's the meaning behind it? What are what are my angels trying to tell me? That's where I'm,
I'm going to be lost. I'm not going to interpret if I saw somebody with brown eyes that I need to be nicer to somebody in my family.
Do I need to go look up all the lyrics to that song? Because it's just the chorus that I keep thinking?
Maybe? I don't know. Seems like you have to do a lot of extra work with these. Yeah, right. Okay, well, number four is others other sounds. They can also communicate with sounds besides their voices. You may hear faint vocalizations that sound like angels singing like soft bells chiming or music with no apparent source.
shiny, happy, bold.
says when this happens, okay, well, no apparent source like no reason like you didn't just hear it. So no reason just like popped into your head. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, that's what happens to me. So when this happens, you need to acknowledge it and ask your angels to make it clear. Clear this up guys. clear it up for me.

I'll get you some aqua for
you might say something like this angels. I think I hear you. But it's very faint. Can you make it a bit louder? Then sit quietly and concentrate and most often, you will be able to tune in better.
I don't need the song louder. I need to know why they're playing it.
I know. Yeah. Oh, that's just that's what it's okay. Now, number five is mental visions. Okay. If you're a visual person, you may see mental visions while meditating or in the last few minutes before you fall asleep. You may see swirling colors, sparkles of light or even a clear image of one of your angels standing before you are what they're supposed to be terrifying though.
Not if they're in a vessel.
