Berly

Welcome to denim wrapped nightmares tipsy exchange Podcast where we explore the supernatural series episode by episode.

LA

over drinks, we'll discuss the lore of gore and what we adore about the Winchesters and their adventures.

Berly

I'm burly, and I'm a new fan of the series.

LA

I'm LA, and I'm here along for the ride. Now let's get tipsy.

Berly

Hello, la Hello, Burley. We got more vampires. Are you happy?

LA

Oh, yeah, well, yeah. Yeah. Just a little bit. Yeah.

Berly

Well, before we get into this week's episode, why don't you take us back to last week? Remind us remind us what happened? All right. Well,

LA

it was what season two episode two. And we're still mourning daddy. Obviously, Sam and Dean listen to a message on dad's phone from a lady named Ellen. And she says, you know, she she's she wants to help him. They find her at this like bar kind of place that is Roadhouse Roadhouse. Yeah, apparently is like a meeting place for hunters

that come from everywhere. And while they're there, they discover that there's a carnival in town and that something is killing little kids parents after they've been like at these carnivals, and it ends up being a concrete clown who like waves at them and they can only come in if the children you know, invite them in. And of course, kids are dumb. They're gonna invite in the, the nice clown from the carnival, and they just slaughter the parents. But the boys nip that in the bud.

Berly

Despite Sammy sphere, Drew

LA

Yeah, Sam didn't like him either. So that was that was pretty much it for last week,

Berly

I saw an old clip of a panel discussion, where Jensen was saying he's actually the one who's afraid of clowns in real life. And so he was kind of freaking out during that episode. Yeah, even though he was supposed to be cool, calm and collected. Well, this week, episode three. I'm starting to see my prediction. I was saying, you know, we met Bobby at the end of last season. Oh, yeah. And we met Daniel Elkins toward

the end of last season. So we kind of got that little glimpse of the fact that there are other hunters out there, right. And now that little glimpse is getting broader and broader. We got Ellen and Joe and ash. And now this week, we got Gordon. Yeah. I wonder who else we're gonna meet. We were disappointed. Gordon turned out to be a little. He was a little crazy. Yeah,

LA

it was sad because I like Sterling.

Berly

Sterling K Brown. Yeah. We were both happy to see him. Yeah.

LA

I mean, he played it well, though.

Berly

He did great in the role. Right. But like, we weren't cheering for him. You know? He made me uncomfortable. We weren't team Gordon. Yeah, not at all. Tim Sterling. Yes. Yeah. Tim Gordon. No, right. No, the episode opens up. We're in Red Lodge, Montana.

LA

I was like, Oh, they're in Montana. Big Sky Country.

Berly

Big Sky shadow. Yeah. Jensen spot s and we see a girl she's running in the woods. She's scared. She's terrified. She's running for her life. We see someone's chasing her. We don't know who she kind of duck and dodges behind a tree. And whoever was chasing her runs by and so she comes out from behind the tree and oh, he turned around and came back. And he has like this handheld scythe. And he decapitates her Yeah, bad. And we're just like what the fuck just happened? Heads

rollin. Cut to the new fancy supernatural fire or flame. Oh, yeah. It's all fun and get the get more more budget. I guess. We see Sam and Dean. They are in the Impala newly refurbished looking fun. Fancy Free. Not a scratch on her. Yeah, baby looks good. And they're driving Sam notices Dean is in a good mood and didn't like Why wouldn't I be cars fixed up? We kind of case everything's hunky dory. Everything's fine, right? Of course. Of course, we have no reason to be anything other than

happy. They drive to Red Lodge and they meet with a sheriff and they are undercover, pretending to be from a local paper that they flubbed the name on. One of them says world weekly news the other one says weekly, Weekly World News and the sheriff kind of picks up on that they're full of shit and he reads them and gives them the business pretty much calls them dumbasses for thinking cattle mutilations are real and that is get out of my office. So the sheriff is not

very helpful. Since the sheriff didn't pan out, they go and check out the morgue. They distract the guy they're sitting him on his way. A C, his name starts with A J. And Dean comes in all smooth like, Hey, John. He's like Jeff, he's like, Yeah, sure, sure what doc wants you in his office and the guy's points out that the doctor is on vacation, and oh, no, he's back. And he's pissed. The little mortgage attendant jumps up and runs out. So they have limited

time. But whatever it works, so they throw on some gloves and go in to take a look at the body of this girl. They look specifically at the head, because the last they're thinking satanic worshippers, they are not immediately going to vampires. They're thinking the cattle mutilations are connected, which we find out later, they are just not in the way they thought. So they're expecting to find some sort of pin Agrium scraped into the head, or some sort of carving on the body or what have you.

They're kind of fighting over who's going to actually touch the head and do stuff with the head Dean says we have to check the mouth, see if there's something in it like in Silence of the Lambs. Sam's digging around in the mouth, and is trying not to vomit, which he comes a long way by the end of the show, as far as this stuff goes. And while he's digging around in the mouth, Dean notices that the gums look kind of funny. So they pull back the

lip. They're poking around at the gums, and one of the vampire fangs come out.

LA

I didn't like it. I didn't like just seeing that one little thing pop out.

Berly

So they're retractable thing. Yeah. That come in and out and fall out shed, they shed their teeth, whatever. They're like, Oh, shit, we're dealing with vampires. We got to get some more information. Try to find the nest. They decide to start at the local bar. So they head up to the counter. Oh, where else would you start investigative research. Of course, you're gonna go to the local bar. They go to their bartender, and they slide him some cash, ask him some questions. And the bartender was

familiar to me. He comes back to the show way later on and plays another vampire. Oh, really? But this vampires name is Benny and he's got a Cajun accent he real sexy. Oh, okay. That's something to look forward to ally. But in this episode, he's vampire Eli. Right? I know. They should have just kept the name the same and let it have been the same character right. I wonder why they make decided to make that change. Anyhow, Eli gives them a

little bit of information. We noticed there was somebody sitting in a particular spot, watching the boys as they were talking to the bartender. And whenever the guys got the information they wanted and we're leaving. This person was mysteriously gone left to half drank beer or half smoked cigarette on the table. And it was Sterling. Sterling K Brown. Hmm. So the guys are leaving the bar and they're walking around the building and LA and I were both like, Where the fuck are

they going? Turns out they knew they were being watched. They knew they had a tail. Sterling K Brown who we don't know his name yet follows them around. And they end up confronting him. Push him up against the wall, hold the knife to his neck. Tell him to smile. Tell him to smile show showing them pretty whites. They do a vamp check on him, basically. And he lets them know I'm not a vampire. I'm a hunter. I heard you guys talking at the bar. You know, I've been on this

case. I think he said he's been on it for like a year. Yeah, he has been tracking them and wiping them out and he hasn't found the nest yet. And he knew their dad. Yes. He said he knew that he knew them too. He knew of the Winchesters you know Sam and Dean Winchester. He had heard John Winchester had passed so based off the fact that the

car was completely fixed. And other hunters know about John Winchester is passing we're guessing some time has passed since the last episode Yeah, no idea how long but it's obviously

been at least a little bit. Dean is pushing really hard for Gordon we find out his name is Gordon to let them in on the case that he wants to help track the nest and he wants to help take down all these vamps but Gordon is very much like no I got my sick Oh camino i have my little pop out behind the seat that was paying arsenal that was really nice. You know, I I've got this. I'm I work on my own. I'm not a team player. I'm good. But there's a chupacabra two states over. You know, good

luck. Really nice meeting you guys. I'll buy you a drink some time. But no, you can't. You can't play in my sandbox. Basically, it was what Gordon was telling them. So then we go to this factory, a mill, who knows and there's a security guy sitting there minding his own business, and I hear some noises. So he gets up and he's looking around, and all of a sudden, oh, who was it? It's Gordon Gordon's there. On the attack. He and the security guard get into a fight and during the tussle we find out

he's a vampire. Right whenever it looks like Gordon is about to get his head sawed off by this machine at the mill Dean pops up, saves Gordon's life and dumps the vampire where Gordon was and slowly saws off this vampires head

LA

when he like, gets in some punches to before that. Yeah, isn't not necessary.

Berly

He has a bit of a tussle. Yeah. And it shows Gordon and Sam. Two very different reactions. Gordon, incredibly impressed. seyoum Incredibly disturbed, right? And Gordon says, hey, you know, I guess I'll buy you that drink. Now, after all, we go back to the bar, and the three of them are sitting around having drinks and Sammy does not look happy. He does not look happy at all. He looks very upset while they're talking. Dean is telling Sam

like, just chill, it's fine. And then Gordon says yes, Sammy. Seems like only he can call me that. He's really, really upset. Sam is just like, you know, I'm obviously being a downer here. I'm taking off. I'm going back to the motel. You guys do whatever the fuck you're going to do. I'm disturbed by what has happened. I went out of here. So Sam goes back to the motel and we clearly see him hang the keys to the Impala on this cute little cat die figurine. Back at the bar, Dean and Gordon.

They're bonding. Yeah, they're sharing worrier. Stories, Hunter stories. Gordon opens up about his sister and how she had gotten attacked by a vampire. That's what got him into hunting Dane talks about his dad and how that got him into hunting and garden. They were both really young when they Yeah, like first saw them. And I think Dean Dean said he was 16 and Gordon was 18. Yeah, they were both really young with their first kill. And while they're sharing these stories, Dean surprisingly, let

himself be vulnerable. Yeah, he tells Gordon, you know, I can't talk with Sam about this stuff. I have to have my game face basically saying he has he feels like he needs to stay strong for Sam. Right, but that he's not okay. Yeah. Since their dad died.

LA

I liked that. He actually said that he'd like he admittedly, because I'm not handling it. Well,

Berly

yes. And then Gordon was kind of saying, you know, I get it. There's this hole inside you that you need to fill up. And that's whenever I got that vibe that oh, so he's like a serial killer who's using vampires to fill this bloodlust? And then I realized, oh, that's the name of the episode. Turned out I was right.

LA

Right. And didn't he say he was like, It's okay. It's okay to need your job.

Berly

Yeah.

Unknown

Oh, my God.

Berly

I think that's when he said that. That's whenever I was like, Oh, right. Okay, so he likes killing. And he uses this as his way to do it. That that was the line that did it. Yeah. But it was nice to see Dean. Be vulnerable and comfortable. Yeah,

LA

I wish it was Sam. But right.

Berly

So speaking of Sam back at the motel, he calls their new friend Ellen. Like you said earlier, her Roadhouse has become this hangout for hunters where they know they can go there. They know they can talk about things and not have to worry about people thinking they're crazy or what have you that it's kind of a hunter's Haven. So Right. Yeah. And he asks Ellen, if she knows Gordon, and Ellen says, yeah, he's a good hunter. Sam explains. Okay,

because we met up with him. And you know, we think we're gonna work a case together and Eligos No, oh, no.

LA

Yeah, I was like, that's very like, yeah, he's a good hunter to go from that to like, oh, no, get away from them.

Berly

Right. So Elon, immediately, No, get away. He's toxic. He can get the job done. But just let him work this alone. Y'all do not need to be working with him. Basically, Elon says, Gordon Cry Cry, get the fuck out of there. We cut back to the bar. Gordon and Dean are still talking still bonding. And Gordon basically start saying, you know, Sam's different. Not saying it's bad. He's just not like us. You know, you and I, we were made for this job. What do you say in a dean?

And later on, he basically says we're Born Killers. Which I think I told you, you know, like, we had the episode a while back. I can't remember exactly which one where Dean was kind of scared of himself because he was willing to kill so quickly, no questions asked to save his family. And how he was feeling guilty about that and scared about that. And now we have Gordon saying, validating them. Yeah, and it's kind of an ongoing theme. This will come up again, that's what I'm telling you. I like

LA

okay, got it. Noted.

Berly

Back at the hotel, say um, has gone out for a soda. Yeah, he wants to get a carbonated beverage. And it's eerie. They did a lot of these shots where it was like the Zoom like a monster coming up or like, oh, it's It's meant to be scary right now. You should be feeling paranoid right now.

LA

Yeah, they did a good job of like making it seem like he could tell somebody was watching him. Yes. Yeah,

Berly

very much. So they had a few of those in this episode. I thought they did well. They did that with Gordon whenever he was trying to tail. Sam and Dean at the beginning and then they did it again with Sam at the hotel. Nothing comes and get some so he goes to the motel room and oh, that's where it is. Who is it? It's Eli. He like kicks his ass knocks him out. Blindfolds, but it's like a bag over his head, I think and throws them in a car. Yeah. Horse. They forced me.

LA

They took care of him. No, no, but I mean, terrifying.

Berly

It was Eli in the process. actor's name is Ty Olson. And he's a big boy. I liked it. Yeah, we're really big burly man. Big man for Burly. Eli, take Sam back to the nest turns out as I kind of already told you guys at the beginning, Eli is a vampire. Back at the nest we meet Lenore who was played by the fabulous Amber Benson. You probably know her as Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Dark brunette hair. She looked fab. Yeah. I love this color hair on her wonder why she

hasn't done more stuff. Really? Well cast good. Yeah, I really liked her in this role. She did really well. And she's basically just has a conversation with them and tells him we're different. We don't want to kill people. We survive off of animal blood. And so that's where the cattle mutilations come in. They've been draining the cows of blood to have something to eat. seyoum buys this conversation, hook, line and sinker. He's like they are

different. They've let him go. I mean, they don't hurt him at all. Literally, they just kidnapped him to tell him hey, we know you're a hunter. Because you were talking to Eli at the bar about Hunter shit. You're obviously here trying to find us back off back off like we aren't doing anything. We have a right to live. I think Lenore said

right? Back at the hotel, Dean and Gordon are kind of going over all Gordon's notes talking about all this tracking he has been doing for the past year are trying to figure out where they can find this vampire nest. Because Gordon now wants to work together. Your killer like me, will work with you now.

LA

Buddies. Besties let's

Berly

go murder. Sam walks in. And they're like, Where the fuck have you been? So Sam is looking at Dean is like, I want to talk to you outside. So he takes Dean thinking he's gonna have a private conversation with his brother. And he basically tells Dean everything he tells them about these vampires. He tells them that he believes them. They should just let it go. He tells them what Elon said about Gordon. And Dean's not liking it.

LA

He's not liking it really burst and Dean's bubble.

Berly

Yeah. He's not happy. He was excited to have a hunt to go on. And Sam is kind of being a wet blanket as far as Dean is concerned. Yeah. And then we see like pan over and who's around the corner eavesdropping? It's Gordon. He's just like peeking around the corner of the building. So I'm like, how did you get out of the muck? Did you climb out of the window in the bathroom? How did you get out? Sneaky stealthy Sterling Southie Yep. Before he went out to eavesdrop on them Sterling did

something else shady. He jacked the keys off the little cacti. Miniature gonna do it

LA

himself. To stop them.

Berly

Yeah, they're gonna get in his way. And he heard Sam whenever Sam was talking about that he didn't know exactly where the nest was. But he knew I drove over this old bridge outside of town. So he knows the general direction of where the best bit nest is. So Gordon takes off by himself to go handle this. It's like I'm not gonna let wet blanket say I'm

getting my way. He might be making Dean have second thoughts, but I'm going they go into the motel and they realize what's happened that Gordon has jumped jumped to the No, that's not what I want to say. What did Gordon do pulled one over on him. Yeah, there we go. He didn't jump anything. He pulled one over on. And they had wire baby. Get in the car. Oh, yeah. Hotwired. Luckily, once they were in the car, Sam knew more about where he was then he led on previously. He knows how

many. You know, he said he counted or something? How many minutes from the bridge? Yeah, and the turns and all of that? Which Damn seyoum Right? Good for you. Lenore is at the nest packing up their things and Eli comes up and tells her we should go kill these hunters. They aren't going to let us go. We need to take care of this at self defense. They're going to come after us before we have a chance to get out of town. And Lenore says no, we're not going to do that. Let's just pack up

and get out of here. It'll be okay. Go back to town get everybody else we're going to be out here by sunrise. But unfortunately, Gordon finds the nest before Lenore has a chance to get out of there. So she's carrying a box to the car, and Gordon comes up with a knife that's been dipped in dead man's blood and like slowly like he grabs her from behind and then slowly stabs it into her heart. Which is just a little sadistic.

LA

Yeah. Well, and then what does he say? I don't remember. Dead Man's blood, bitch.

Berly

Yeah, it's like to a Oh, she was just carrying a box. Why are you being so aggressive? Goodness Gordon. Dean and Sam catch up to them at the nest. They walk in, and Gordon has Lenore tied up in a chair and keeps dipping that knife into the dead man's blood and is just doing all these cuts all over Lenore just keeping her poisoned with the dead man's blood but nor does not look good. No. And Gordon looked happy. Yeah,

LA

he was enjoying it a little too much.

Berly

He was super chill. Super comfortable with what he was doing. And yeah, it did seem like he was enjoying what he was doing. Dean and Sam look disturbed to say the least when they walk in. Yeah. And fortunately, something switches in Dean immediately where he's on Sam site now.

LA

Yeah, well, I'm probably looking at Leonora. Yeah,

Berly

he just immediately is like, what the fuck are you doing? You need to chill out and Sam's kind of aggressive and angry about it. So Gordon's like it, Sam, who needs to chill out and Dean is just like, No man, like, this is not cool. They're fine. They're different. They haven't hurt anyone. And then to prove a point, Gordon grabs Sam by the arm cuts him so that he's bleeding and holds his arm overland nor his blood drips on her. So her fangs come out and

it was a really cool shot. I thought she looked really cool when her vampire teeth came out. I don't know what special effects they did there. But I liked it. It wasn't too much whatever they did, it worked really well. But when nor fights the urge and is like no, I don't want to hurt anybody. No, I don't want this. Dean pulls a gun. Sam gets Lenore out of the chair. And Dean tells him You know, get Lenore out of here get her to safety. So Sam takes Lenore and leaves Dean and

Gordon tussle. They got a bit of a fight. And at first Gordon puts his knife on the table like they're gonna have hand to hand fight. So then dean unloads his gun. I was like, why don't you just set it down? Right? Why did you unload it? Because guess what, shady Gordon? As soon as he felt like he might not win grabbed the knife right away. Oh, you and I were both like,

LA

yeah, not fair. Not a fair fight.

Berly

It was not. But anyway, it doesn't matter that he got the knife because it's deemed motherfucking Winchester, right? And so Dean wins, and he gets Gordon tied up to the chair. Sam comes back. And Dean asks Gordon if he needs to go to the bathroom or something. And then after that, he says, we'll call somebody in a couple of days to come. But I was like, Damn, he's definitely gonna piss himself by that. And Sam is happy, happy. He's a little be he's just so

happy. They walk outside. Oh, I did forget something that's important. When they were fighting earlier outside the motel and Gordon was sneaky listening. Sam confronted Dean about how he knows that Dean's not doing okay. knows that Dean is putting on a fake smile and acting like everything's fine and just trying to fill the hole that's inside him. And I thought that was a really cool moment to know that Dan thinks he's doing so good hiding everything. But

Sam knows everything. He's just not bringing it up because Dean clearly doesn't want to talk about it. Anyway, back to the nest. So they've left Gordon tied up inside, and they're having their brotherly moment is really sweet. Dean even asked Sam like, Okay, hit me because whenever Sam was telling him all that stuff earlier at the motel, Dean got pissed off and punch Sam. Yeah, hard. So cool. Now Dean realizes, okay, I fucked up. You were right. I owe you

one. Come on. And Sam says I'll take a raincheck like, you just got your ass being on there. We're cool. I'll take a raincheck I'll hit you later. And Dean kind of questions. I wonder how many monsters we've killed who maybe didn't deserve it? He's like, I wish we'd never taken this case. I wish we hadn't come here because now I'm questioning things. And Sam just kind of says, you know, the way

we were raised. We thought we were doing what was right Dad did the best he could after what happened to mom live and learn is basically what Sam was saying. Yeah. And the brothers getting the Impala. They drive off into the sunrise. It was a pretty area wherever they it was really pretty. Yeah. I don't know where they are both To be Montana, but I assume it's still somewhere up in Canada. Yeah, Cooper somewhere on there, but it was really pretty it was it was gorgeous. So Lenore and Eli

got away safely. Sam and Dean save the day. Gordon may or may not pop up again, to be continued on Gordon's condition because they left him alive. So we shall see. But that is my recap of bloodlust. Wonderful. I liked this episode. Yeah.

LA

I like to think Sterling.

Berly

I did. He did well on the roll. Yeah. Oh, of course. He made me uncomfortable. And I think that's what he was supposed to do. Yeah, yeah. In the role. I like that. It wasn't it's still it's not ignoring the fact that daddy Winchester is dead but we're we're moving on the last two episodes. were sad. Yeah, I didn't want to be sad anymore. We're working through it now. Yeah. Moving forward. It's not so much grief. Yeah. Which I'm sure Greif is still

going to be part of it. It's still Yeah, you know what I mean? Oh, yeah. Not too gory. No, no, just a lot of uh, just punching, punching and stabbing. The cutting part with Lenore was probably the goriest part. Yeah. Oh, well, the beheading and they didn't actually show the beheading, though. They just showed the bloods as the blood spread. Oh, I didn't see the head fall off. Oh, at the very beginning Yeah. Oh, yeah. No, we

did see that beheaded. I thought you meant the mill when he pulled down this Oh, no, no, no, that we just saw blood like get splattered on his face. No blood splooge is this episode. And you know the scene with Lenore getting cut up? I guess that could kind of be gory, but I don't think that was so much glorious. It was just disturbing. Yeah.

LA

All right. Well, I got some lore on good old vampire hunters. Yay. Professional or semi professional vampire hunters, played some part in the vampire beliefs of the Balkans, especially Bulgarian, Serbian and Romanian folk beliefs. And this I thought this was weird. I had never heard this before that they're usually born on a Saturday and they were called sabbatarians. Hmm. Or they're the offspring of a vampire and a woman called a damn pier in Romanian or them puro Vic and Serbian.

Berly

So you could either be born on a Saturday or your daddy could be a vampire. Yeah. Okay.

LA

It was also believed that someone born on a Saturday could see a vampire when it was otherwise invisible. So like, I guess just anybody born on a Saturday had the site.

Berly

I was born on a Sunday. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

LA

What one day? I was born on a Tuesday. How lame. So back to the sabbatarians It was believed that in some places they needed to be fed meat from a sheep killed by a wolf.

Berly

How do you set that? Exactly? Did you just like just save the sheep that were killed by a wolf? Did you keep a wolf on handy and kill the sheep when you needed one?

LA

I don't know. But it would enable them to not fear things that they were only able to see.

Berly

Oh, select the invisible vampires. Yeah. Okay.

LA

Now in the Croatian and Slovenian legends, the villages had their own vampire hunters that were called crest snakes, and their spirits were able to turn into animals at night and fight off the vampire or coud luck. skinwalkers Yeah. The weapons I usually had on them were a mallet, a steak, a crucifix? Holy Water, holy oil. Oh, ropes, crowbars, pistols. So those were their weapons of choice. And the most famous one that we know came from, from Austrian army surgeon Johann

Flickinger. Okay, Lucky Inger blue QingEr maybe, I don't know. But the doctor described a case of Arnold, pale, pale will, Pele a soldier and alleged vampire victim from a Serbian village and to banish vestiges of the vampire pale a dirt from its grave, and sneered himself with its blood. And then he returned to his life as a farmer but soon died in a hay wagon accident. That killed that's what got him

got it. But about a month after his death, villagers claimed that Pele had risen from the dead and killed several people. animals and livestock were also attacked and drained of their blood. They I'm suspecting vampirism, the villagers exhumed Paolis body they found it intact even the nails had grown. Fresh blood covered the inside of the coffin and the villagers drove a stake through his heart, and He gave an audible groan and bled

copiously. And the bodies of other villagers thought to have been also transformed into vampires were disinterred and maimed in an attempt to kill them for good, which I mean now we know why all that would have had happened, you know, right. Dead body?

Berly

Yeah, back then they didn't know. So it was a whole town of vampire hunter. Yeah, slayed the beast,

LA

right? The Travel Channel has a show that is called vampires in America. And it features these gent these guys that believe they're actually vampire hunters.

Berly

And don't let them go to New Orleans. Where? What? Melcor? Isn't that wasn't that one of their names?

LA

I think so. Something like that. Yeah.

Berly

Leave them alone, they found a nice little peaceful society like lindora them, right? They aren't hurting anybody.

LA

And in this article, the person says, I wish I wish with all my heart to believe that this was a mockumentary. But I absolutely by that there are people listening. And they say it's 100% logical leap from a rise in homicides and missing persons person cases to Oh, it must be vampires. 100% not crime, not guns, not serial killers. Definitely magical creatures who suck blood from their victims.

Berly

Were they were these two guys fans of supernatural read?

LA

Probably. I kind of have a kind of want to see it. But it kind of don't. I'll just leave that out there. If anybody wants to go check that out. What's it called again?

Berly

You're just you're making all these faces as you're reading stuff, but you're not telling me what your real. It's like,

LA

okay, so other names? That's two guys his name one name Eric Street and, and Marcel lOn? tanjun. I bet he made that name up. Straight tells us that his encounter with a vampire was in Scotland. Well Dressed mesmerizing. He felt drawn to it. But as he was being drawn, there was a sense of dread.

Berly

Of course. Yeah. So they've both had vampire encounters before. I guess why they do this. Okay. Yeah. Make sense? So

LA

then the the vampire growls and that broke his spell. He wasn't so drawn to him anymore.

Berly

Oh,

LA

they the two guys have been working together since 2001. And found evidence in all 50 states. Here's a video of them partying and 2020 during the pandemic. They then we learned that they are there to only vampire hunters working in the United States.

Berly

Okay, so I just I'm thinking about this vampire experience. So it was a hot, really nicely dressed man. That growled at him. But he was really drawn to him before that. zactly like maybe you're just bisexual, right? Maybe just gay. Just gay. Or maybe you're gay. Maybe he was just really fucking gorgeous. And knew how to dress. Well. And you were drawn to that. I don't know why he growled at you. But I don't know that I blame him. Yeah. Interesting. What's

LA

the name of the show? Again, vampires in America on the Travel Channel.

Berly

And it's the only two vampire hunters and the entire experts covering all 50 states. Yeah, it's a lot of ground. Yeah,

LA

so we I mean, everybody watch out because they're here. And hers are real. They are in every state and we only have two guys hunting them.

Berly

Hey, I You already told us about vampires and they are harmless based off of what I heard. Yeah. Like Laura said, she's

LA

she's not gonna eat me. Yeah, they're

Berly

like Lenore, leave him alone.

LA

Yeah, good luck to him too straight and Vontaze engine made up name. Straight claims that vampires have been involved in the vampire fiction that's put out so that they could hide in plain sight. So apparently, Bram Stoker was taking dictation from a vampire.

Berly

Bram Stoker did have like a forward message or something in his book originally, but said he was basically trying to get people to believe that this was a real Yeah, I don't remember the details of this guy's bought it over on the tipsy exchange. We did a couple of episodes about vampires. And that was one of the things I found out about Bram Stoker, that he originally wanted people to believe it was real, not a work of fiction. And these guys are like, yeah,

LA

yeah. Yeah, I believe it. And they also believe that they are homeless hominids. Oh, but a different species than human and evolved around 68,000 BC. That's very specific. And then Vaughn tinge and claims that they've been in America since the Civil War, and that there are 20,000 nationwide. Good luck to them finding all 20,000 of them. And l 50. States

Berly

do they know about the Atlantic vampiric society? I'm sure they do. I'm just kidding. Leave them alone. Leave those vampires alone.

LA

So yeah, that's that's it for the lower man.

Berly

Some good stuff.

LA

I mean interesting. We should school a little safer. We got straightened bunting engine

Berly

seems like a far, far cry from Winchesters. But I mean, yeah, whatever. Close it out. We have a quote from when Sam called Elon talking about

LA

Gordon. And he said, I thought you said he was a good hunter.

Berly

And Elon said Yeah, and Hannibal Lecter is a good psychiatrist. Cheers. Thank you for listening to denim wrapped nightmares.
