Featuring Lexi Oliver, my friend and former D1 soccer teammate, sharing the birth story of her firstborn daughter, Shiloh.
I share in the intro that her episode is ... a lot. She is so openly honest about a lot of different aspects that caused fear within her pregnancy and into birth, and I think it's so important to hear. With that said, I also want to give fair warning to those of you who may be already having some anxiety within their own pregnancies -- all experiences are different and all are valuable! I think there's so much to gain from hearing the ins and outs of Lexi's experience.
Ultimately, she and her daughter were healthy and happy, and that's the absolute best ending to a pretty chaotic lead up to birth!
We share a lot of laughs and she shares some amazing realizations about postpartum healing that I think every one of us can relate to.
