Yeah, folks, crypto majors were red again this morning amidst war concerns and ahead of this afternoon's FOMC meeting. But it looks like we're rallying right now. So Bitcoin back at 104.9 after going sub one O 4 just an hour or so ago, we got ETH 2525 now down 1% on the day slot down 3 and half percent 146. So Seoul is lagging, that much is clear.
It was a big day of headlines, especially from macro crypto. So we had Coinbase requesting SEC approval to enable tokenized stock trading. We had the Genius Act, the stable coin bill passed the Senate, Now on to the House. We had Scott Besson come out and call stablecoins a $3.7 trillion market by the end of the decade. So he's doing his part to plug stables. 2 big news pieces of news out of JP Morgan.
They're launching JPMD as AUSD deposit token for institutional clients on base, and they met with the crypto task force yesterday to discuss the impact of bringing existing capital
markets on chain. So the movement on chain clearly is accelerating from Tradfi. Some news out of BBVA, one of the biggest banks in Spain, they've been advising their private banking clients to allocate 3 to 7% to crypto since September 2024. That's one of the higher percentages I've seen, So I thought that was notable. The corporate treasury news hype is the is the big one of the day. So I Novia yesterday announced a $15 million PIPE agreement to acquire hype tokens and then
breaking right before the show. What was the name of this one? Give me a SEC while I pull it up. LGHL security $600 million facility to launch a hyper liquid hype treasury. So that's the biggest 1 to date for hype now, 3 in the last week. So the corporate treasuries continue to accelerate. We saw an Israel hacker group hacked the Iranian exchange nobatechs for 81.7 million earlier this morning. They burned the proceeds and then they promised to release
the full source code shortly. So anyone who has funds on there, I think you want to try to get those off ASAP. And then another piece of breaking news ahead of the show. Blackrock's Biddle token is now going to be accepted as collateral at cryptoexchangeslikecrypto.com and Darabit. I mean, folks will be able to put that capital to work. So a lot of big macro news going downstream a little bit. Token AirDrop, protocol news. Krakens INK L2 are going to be the biggest news here.
Out of protocols is set to AirDrop its INK token debuting on Ave. as part of its liquidity protocol use case. So that's going to be a big one. We had Gradient raised 10 million to help build the centralized AI infrastructure. Then Ubix also raised 10 million to deliver stable coin clearing and settlement network. So a couple raises there rounding this out AI, the AI market fell 5 percent, 8.8 billion. Most of those leaders were red.
Meme coin leaders are also down about two to 3% across the board. Some some notable news from yesterday. Pausey Pause was the the most hyped Solana meme launch from the width deployer that we've seen in some time. It launched on Vertigo via bullpen, ran immediately to 140 million FTVI. Think closer to 50 million FTV here This morning Razmer launched a stream coin with his own name Razmer, which ran past 15,000,000 at peak. I think it was just below 10 this morning. And then Bonka.
Bonka is right, useless. Crazy. Up another 30% / 100 million and it was featured by Coindesk yesterday. So that was the the highlights in the memes. NFTS, couple headlines. Tyler Hobbs sold out his Day Gardens collection for 325 ETH and then die with most likes his gristle buddies. They minted out point O69 ETH .5 each floor this morning. So quick 7X for mentors. They're feeling good this morning. Damn, that's there's definitely a lot going on today in the world.
I mean, where do we start? Let's start baby quickly by the market. They're probably going to cover it a little more depth than us in on wreck video right after in a couple of hours, especially because it's right before FOMC right with Gerald Powell and we're seeing Trump come at too late. Powell again from the time by asking for 2 1/2 points. I'm in for I I'm good with that. Personally speaking, I hope they cut 2 1/2 points. But Tyler, let's see what we're at in the market side.
Yeah, let's take a look. I mean, the the CME rate futures are showing us a 99.9% chance of no cuts. So I think it's it's very, very unlikely we are going to get a cut from Powell today. I think what perhaps is more interesting is it does look like the Fed is changing the amount of capital that that banks have to hold. It's one of their, their key indices. I don't have the details in front of me, but that is something to look out for in that meeting here this
afternoon. Amanda joins, maybe he'll, he'll have more details on that. So I'm not expecting a whole lot. And what's also notable, people should be aware that tomorrow is Juneteenth. So markets are going to be closed tomorrow, stock markets in the US, which means FMC just tomorrow. So FOMC is going to come out. There's going to be like one hour to to to trade the debrief and then markets are going to be closed till Friday morning. So not sure exactly what that
means for crypto. Kind of feels like probably more chop zone for the next day and a half and of course pending with everything with Israel and Iran. But Bitcoin, it's back above your your line. Dude kind. Of hovering on the line. Again right there dude. You know, for those of you, we mention the line every day.
I'm just using this. I see a few traders online back then they used this like Darth Maul candle which was back in December 5th 2024 as the range and it's kind of been that range 92K to 104K except for the 30 day 60 day period where people broke down. But see it did attempt to break it out a few times and then when it finally did, you know, it never really came back down from that range and just marched up to one O 4 and stayed there. We're now 41 days in We'll see
man. I mean, you always like, I'm not a micro expert when we talk markets here, but Mendel's not here. What he we always talk about is there's always a de risking head of FOMC. What can we expect? Like Trump is fighting him right now saying he would do a better job than him on the timeline, which is hilarious. And we know that Trump and him don't get along, right? Like it's it's not really working out. And so I doubt we're going to get a rate cut now. It will be a surprise rate cut,
that's for sure. So we just have to wait, right? I think so. I mean, right now the, the CME futures are showing 56% chance of a cut in September's meaning and only a 15% chance for July. So it looks like we're we're still three months out from getting any meaningful cuts. And that kind of feels directionally right. Like there's just so much uncertainty right now, like you're in PAL shoes. The tariff situation is not resolved. We're making progress.
There's a fucking war. There's a war which is going to impact oil prices. We're seeing oil fluctuate with some pretty decent volatility on a daily basis right now, big impact on inflation. So he's he's in a tough spot and he cut and stocks are again, the stocks are an all time high for the most part. So why is he in a race to cut? I don't think we're going to get one anytime soon. Yeah, I mean, he just really been chopping here, like steadily. It really has.
That's it. That's a tight range. That's interesting. Some might say coiling. I think so too. 40 days as well. So it's the exact same range as Bitcoin? It's the same range. And 40 days already so the are the cell men go awake guys going to be right. So joy for June. We can't have that. Like we can't have the salmon going way people be right. We just have to wait for Powell and all that stuff to to go through what else we got.
Yeah, we could talk to the Genius Act. So that was a big headline from yesterday. I think there's been a lot of eyes on this and I think there's been a lot of directing towards the Circle trade tied to the Genius Acts potentially passing Circle up another 8% today. It's back over 160 after the Genius Act did pass the Senate,
though. I, I was reading Eleanor Terrett's post this morning and she's cautioning that this, the Senate passing does not mean that this bill is going to pass the House. And the reason for that is there's also the market structure bill, this, this Clarity Act that's in the House. There's a different version of that market structure bill in the Senate.
And there's a huge, there is a cohort in the House who wants to combine the two bills because they don't think that both of them are going to pass in that the time frame that that Trump has man mandated and that they would have a better chance of effectively combining the bills. But that's something that's going to take some time. And that means the Genius Act in its current state may not pass or or may get some pushback
here. So not necessarily clear sailing just because it did pass the Senate yesterday, though that was still a a big milestone. So we'll see that that is the the latest update. So I think I don't know if we have a timeline on when this is going to be start to be discussed more seriously in the House here. I'll try to dig that up. But that is a big one. And then the other aspect, it was just a big day for stables overall. So we had the Genius Act pass.
Stable super cycle. Stable coin super cycle is real USDC to 5. JP Morgan launched their their pilot for their deposit token feels like a stable coin for their institutional clients. It's going to be on base. So big win for base and and for the EVM. Yeah. And then Scott Besson's comments, arguably that the most bullish aspect for the stable coin crowd of all when he came out and and tweeted that he sees 3.7 trillion in market cap size by the end of the decade for for
stable coins. So big, big, big day out there. And it seems like that the progress is only accelerating, but I think it, it's more than just stable coins. So two other headlines hear from today. So one out of BlackRock. So Blackrock's Biddle token, which is their tokenized money market fund token now that will be able to be used as collateral at cryptoexchangescrypto.com and, and do for institutional and experienced traders. So we'll have to see kind of what the asterisk is there.
But this means that you can put your money market capital to work. You can get loans against it to, to actually go out and perhaps do some trading with those funds. So that's a big unlock. I, this is not my specific area of expertise, but I don't know that we've seen that before. This is our first tokenized money market fund of this caliber that you'll be able to, you know, bring on chain and use as collateral.
So that was a big one. And then this is an early headline, but JP Morgan's other piece of news from the day is they met with the, the US crypto task force to, to explore how they can bring capital markets on chain. So I, I just walked through what 5-5 different headlines. It's a big. Yeah. And seeing the market yet still not, you know what I mean? Like it's this war stuff. It's same situation as we just
had with tariffs, right? It is I mean, there's clearly an acceleration of tread fight coming on chain which gives a blanket of legitimacy to the crypto space, at least at the top right Bitcoin stables, Ethereum's in that bucket. And I think the more legitimacy it has, the more I think the we're making that progress that I think it is harder to unwind,
right. We talked about the risk of what happens if AOC gets power in 2028 and they want to come back after Trump. Like I think that the more pushed the the further the transit fight gets on chain with some of these products, the harder that is to to walk back. Is, is my current read on this may not be, you know, in line with some of the initial core ethos of crypto and I certainly understand that. But this is an aspect of the the market at this point. And it looks like it's just
going to continue to accelerate. And the more we can do with our capital on chain, the, the, the stickier it gets, the easier it is to keep capital on, on the blockchain. So I'm rooting for it and we're making some big and. We have. I have such a hard time adhering to this whole like last cycle thing when I read all this stuff. You know.
Like these alts ain't worth shit for the most part, but there's always going to be the top stuff and there's always going to be this table coins and there's always going to be the casino, you know? So it's going to be a Farkhorn or Pepe or the other millions, maybe not at their speed as which we had new coins this cycle, but it was going to be something or wrecked that comes out and does something good, you know, so it's. Interesting.

Like NFTS were like mass adoption of crypto for the people, got people like you and I fully involved a ton of other
brands, etcetera I feel like. This instabilization is what really like is going to leave that next right up and and we're seeing it. Speaking of which, So what the hell is this hype stuff? Like I love that it's hype because I think hype is super legit, but it's starting to be a lot. So take me through this hype news that's I saw one last night, which is like a $20 million market cap publicly traded company by the way, trying to buy $50 million worth of hype thought man though.
And now this morning you have LGHL securing $600 million to facilitate 600 million facility to launch hype treasury. So what's going on here? Yeah. So we had the the one individual's basically his holding company was the first to announce the hype treasury last week. I think it was, it was in smaller size, I think maybe 500,000 or something. And it pumped their market cap. And yesterday we, we got the news out of this ophthalmologist company.
And I'm, I'm even blanking on what it, what, what, what its name is. Oh, I know via, so I know via and they announced a $50 million pipe to acquire hype token and build a treasury reserve with it. And now less than 24 hours later, LGHL is raising the stakes 600 million to to build a hype treasury. So we went from like 500 K to 50 million to 600 million here in the last three to five days. It is actively accelerating. That's pretty big size for so I. Have am I seeing hype?

Though. This morning there was 69% chance of direct military intervention before the before July in, in in Iran. It's now down to 5050 again. So let's let's see. It does feel as though the talks that happen will not be under any sort of guise of a ceasefire. I don't think there'll be a ceasefire it the like. This is not one where I think it would be very. We're going to wait for talks to happen and have a ceasefire. I think this is right.
A delegation goes over there and either either gives him what he wants or or or doesn't. But just the idea that they're going to come to the White House is is relatively interesting. Trump's obviously out there today saying ceasefire or nothing. At the same time, Khomeini's out there saying we will never, we'll never surrender. I mean, we're not French, we're Persians, yeah. We just fight. You know, if, if we wanted to to to surrender, he would have called Macron.
Yeah, exactly. There's a lot of talk about that. So I don't know. It's not like the, the rhetoric is, is calming down here, at least publicly. I it's also very difficult to work out if Khomeini's still got as much power as he potentially did a week ago. Like if I'm a, if I'm a general there, there, there could be a scenario where they're actually negotiating with the generals rather than Khomeini. And who knows what happens to him in this process.
So and that there had been some talk about that over the last 48 hours that there was one general in particular that was basically running, running the show. At the nationwide in a blackout right now as of 25 seconds ago. Yeah, I don't think, to be clear, I don't think you're going to see any halt to the attacks on both sides. Like you will see 100% Iranian missiles launched tonight as they were yesterday and you'll 100% continue to see Israeli air strikes throughout the day.
I don't think they'll touch Fordow before for this now. And I don't know, like maybe Trump? Claims they don't need America for it anymore, by the way. They've been saying that for a while, but like so the only way that that that can really work, in my opinion, is some form of covert operation of which you have to assume you have to assume like Iran has 600,000 active military personnel 600,000. You've got to assume a lot of them are around forward out right now.
So I don't know how like there's some sort of covert operation to to get in there or it's clear that, you know, for centrifuge is not to to well, to continue to work. They need power. And there's been a lot of talk in the past that that Israel could attack the power grids of Iran like they have in the past. So maybe that's what they're considering. I don't think they have enough. They don't have the weaponry. I don't think to get to do it.
It'd have to be like continued strikes for like a day on one mountain and hope that it collapses anyway. But but like it it's difficult to imagine what what what would happen. I think, I think if they do, some of the US and obviously Trump's under immense pressure from at home not to get into a war at the same time and there's. A lot of people in America do not want this war. They just fired a Colonel
yesterday. Yeah. But I think 80%, I think there's something like a poll which is 80% of them don't think they want Iranian nuclear program. So you have a situation here where you you have to decide. And I think Trump is maybe maybe drawing this out as he probably should. And let's see. But I don't think this is, I think if you're waiting for like a ceasefire and nothing's going to happen, I think that ain't happening. This is going to.
Get oh, Iran doesn't want nukes, they just want to mine Bitcoin. That's why speaking about that. He can avoid. Israel did also on an Israeli hacker group or linked group seemingly did take out the the main Iranian exchange, which is relatively well known in crypto. Looks like they they took out around just shy of $100 million. That's crazy. But that but but for context, this was like the main, yeah, exactly kind of assets, pardon. That's like the main exchange there, right? Yeah, yeah.
And you know, like in Iran, they don't perceive themselves to be under sanctions. So this is like a very much a domestic. Yeah. Crypto exchange largely using Tron and it was, it was, it is kind of crazy that that was hacked. Yeah, it is. It does make you think that if China and the US come after it like. The vanity address is crazy bro. The guy. 'S address versus Coinbase, like I don't know the fact that it's just gone like. Exchange gone.
So that's what like people don't realize like Iran has a fuck ton of crypto like they are. It's hard to say, but I, I went deep into that yesterday and I started digging ChatGPT and a bunch of shit. And it was said, last we allegedly checked it was 30 to $50 billion in holdings in Bitcoin because Iran has had sanctions forever. So the only thing they could do is Bitcoin, which store value, right? And Iranians are vastly like Iranian people. They're pretty smart.
They've been mining Bitcoins since 2011. Like they have the most immense, like, you know, you have the Tesla gigafactories. Like, I have a friend that told me the other day that he went to one of those gigafactories in Iran. It's just Bitcoin mining, that he saw it with his own eyes. And in 2021, it was reported that Iran was responsible 4 to 7% of the total Bitcoin mining happening on a daily basis. Yeah. That would 100%. Make sense? They. Have a ton of cheap energy.
Ton of cheap. Energy. That's why they want nuclear. And they have and they have A and they have sanctions. So like there's lots of countries, Russia, for example, huge Encrypto, North Korea, also huge Encrypto. So like there is a ton of countries that you know, crypto is like that for. So this will have really have affected them like this. I don't know if you've spoken to anyone that you know who is Iranian, but but I, I the one person I know said this is a
big, big deal. Like big, big deal. Like, I don't know if you remember recently, but there was that hack of a crypto exchange in India was their X and we didn't really hear about it that much in in in the West. But like that was like Coinbase going down for India like that was like the whole of India crypto was was with that exchange. So this is very much like a big deal for for them domestically, and this is alongside of the banks going down. So I, I think this is right that
we rallied. I think I if they if they do actually come to Washington, I do think there's a very high chance of a deal being made. Yeah. I don't think there'd be a deal being made basically, but, but whether we you get to that sort of level and what happens in the interim will be interesting because this is a moment where you may actually see some internal division between Israel
and the US, right? Like, and let's see how that also works out because I think, I think it's going to be a delicate week if there's an Iranian delegation coming to the US for negotiations about what And there's an in an active war zone, right, where clearly there's an upper hand, at least in terms of aerial threat at the moment, and most probably eyes on several targets. Yeah, it's going to be a very, very interesting one over the next week to see what happens.

chain capital markets. So if you're not familiar with INK, it is an L2, it's on the EVM Optimism super chain. We got a glimpse into tokenomics. We don't have the full detail. We're going to be a billion tokens. It is not a governance token notably, we don't know all the use cases yet, but it looks like they are going to use it as a liquidity protocol and they're going to integrate it with Ave. and you're going to be able to borrow and lend that INK token on the INK L2.
So it now governance token, it's going to have some liquidity use cases to start. There will be an AirDrop. We don't have the details of the AirDrop just yet, but I think folks who have interacted use that INK L2 likely will be of some benefit. So we'll continue to to watch this one as more details come out. But I think this is interesting. And is it the de facto way to
bet on cracking? And I think we think that Metamask is going to do something similar, right, With not launch a Metamask token, but launch the linear token. Oh yeah.
