Yeah, GM So I wouldn't say October was necessarily cancelled. Like Bitcoin is kind of basically where it was when we did the show around 61 K again,
it would dip below 60K briefly. What has just shocked me a little bit is just how many and how severely so many of these old coin stories, kind of the hot ones have just like been taken out to the woodshed. It felt like over the last three to three to five days, majority of those stories are down like 20 to 30% and no real bid, just like sustained selling. And that's the thing that kind of got me.
I was like, wow, like there's no one, there's no one coming to buy these when the when the when the music stops for like Bitcoin, right. So my personal view is that like that the market kind of showed its hand again. Bitcoin dominance went back up to 58%. They're pretty aggressively the moment there was calls for an altcoin season. And I would be wary, I would be wary of of some of those old coins.
I mean, I look through some of the ones I've really bounced and the charts, you know, they just, they just look to them, which doesn't look so good to me. So I think Bitcoin looks OK 61 K is going to look fine. I'd be very wary of buying into 2021 alts. Anything that was like, oh, this old coins going to come back. You know, it's going to be a big pump, but I think that's dangerous and that that isn't just old coins. Well, ETH and ETH looks the fucking tunnel, the stage, right?
Like what the fuck is going on there? Like I think part of the reason people go for altcoin, even myself, was that each suddenly started to outperform and it started to fight, right? OK, we can, we have an altcoin season here and that thing's going back to flat on the year right now. Solana as well. Like Solana's holding on up better, but also not looking. That was a lower high just put in right. We got up to 162, but that was a slightly lower higher than the
one before. And that's that's again, like not the best look in one of these charts. Doesn't look as bad as some of the others, but just tells you that some of these old coin stories do. Look, that was a complete death of them in the last three days, which is really which I really felt like, you know, there's a lot of talk about it. They could, they could go and I'd be wary of that. So Bitcoin looks fine. I think if Bitcoin caches are cold here and goes to 58 K, that
could be even more ugly. I think you could see Bitcoin down. Let's go to like 5960. Wow, that BTCD is definitely up only. I mean, look at it. Look at the stairway to heaven right there. Which is just so dull, I have to say. Like I was, I was speaking to Wiz, Wiz of Soho before we went on. I was like, are we literally just sitting here? And the best thing to own is like Bitcoin? And then you can catch an early meme. You know, you can catch a meme coin below 10 million and run it
up on 10X. It just feels as though like I don't even know what's what's a long term like Siri's been on a tear, right? So maybe Siri is now $19 billion FTV huge unlocks, but I even said that 1.5 like I, I think that one is, is a little bit dangerous even at this level just because of the tokenomics and or there's some stuff going on. So we I wouldn't say it's like
absolutely insane. So for it to like flip ton, for example, I thought would be a big ask, but I don't even know like dope coin stories that like phantom, just like died now the major meme coins, right, They all just got absolutely just stories like with with was, I mean with bounces now, but it was just went below 2. It's been below 2. It's a 2.6. They. Did like they put on, you know, since kind of that August feud, there was like a 2 month consolidation.
It really felt like we were coming out of those and then they've just gone right back to where they were. Well, we just put another like lower high, Yeah, right there. I didn't really didn't think they these stories had fought. I think the thing that suddenly scared me is how quickly they fell apart on on Bitcoin dropping from 6364 K to to 60. Like that's a big move. And just the IT felt as though there was no bid. You know what I mean?
Like that's six straight days low for some of those. And it's like, oh God, that's that's not, it's not good look. Yeah, I know what you mean. It's like as we're getting better everything just we give back all the gains that of the recent couple of days, as soon as things were starting to look better, as soon as Bitcoin sneezes and Bitcoin's not like you were saying it's not that low. It's 60 point 5K. It's not like it's looking great, but it's also not like, you know, it was just like
$52,000 like 3 weeks ago, right? So. And that was multi consolidation periods for a lot of results. Some sometimes it was like like look back like it really felt like they've been consolidating since like July, May sometimes. And then for that to all then fall apart. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I'm just very, very wary on like ETH is kind of the main one that really gets me scared. Just like that. I could just keep dragging
everything low. And that's kind of the reason why the coin dominance keep going higher as well. But yeah, it's a little bit scary. Yeah. I mean, how do you feel about the market here, Tyler? Don't love it. I I think folks got a little too excited last week and I get over excited myself from time to time.
So I'm I'm not throwing stones, but we already had folks calling for easy mode on the timeline and I think people got caught up in, you know, MU Dang running Bitcoin was up and like wolf and Pepe were up big right. So I I was personally, I was watching with and I knew we had to get to like 280 to put in a higher high and we didn't get there. So like that is that was a level I was watching. So that's that. That's not great. As for the broader commentary, like what is there going on in
the market right now? Like earlier in the year at Q1, we had like we had the AI narrative with with Tao, we had prime in Web 3 gaming. It does feel like there's a little bit less right now. I mean, we're what open AI just announced they raised at 160 billion and, and world corn didn't even move. And granted, there's other stuff happening and I don't think Tao really moved either, Right? So. And I know Tao's not directly related, but still. Look, I think we can go higher
when the election happens. I really do. I really do think that once you're in the rearview mirror there, stuff can go higher. I still think that probably, you know, in that world, things can pump. I'm just saying that this lining, I don't think altcoin season is happening this year afterwards. That's the 20. 25. Thing. I think that's the 2025 thing. But when you think about even. 100X on Mudang like back in the east. Yeah, like, I mean, you're talking about Mudang.
We said 200 mil on that almost, right. So it's like. SPX, What the fuck's been going on in that coin? Like it's like 6000 holders and the top ones are like 20 million I'm looking at today. So basically everything else kind of stole away from everything else. All the other movers kind of stopped. Damn, yeah, it would be nice if people told me that, you know, like when these things are sub million, I would love to hit a 20X or something. God damn it.

So, but just questions like how long, how long do they do they stick around for is the question. What else tell what are the major stuff?
I mean was the SEC stuff seem pretty big. So they're they're appealing, of course. Yeah, I mean, that's the headline. It's not like super deep. They you know, it. There's two pieces of the ruling. 1 was that on the institutional Here I have it up. So they, they filed a notice of appeal with the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
This is a four year long case. So back in 2023, Judge Torres ruled that their institutional sales of XRP violated federal securities law, but the programmatic sales to retail did not. And they had $125 million fine on the line. The judge at that point had denied the SE CS request to appeal. The SEC is moving forward with that anyway. And, and they're, they're saying they've got confidence that
they're on the right side. There's decades of Supreme Court press that his securities law saying that I guess the the retail aspect of this, that it is securities. The Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse tweeting the SEC is lost in everything that matters and he's saying it's not a security. So we'll we'll see the the case drags on. Not out of the woods yet, I guess. Yeah, we'll see where this goes. So the SEC seems to keep you they they don't want. So what's the story of this guy
that that made him 20 Bill? They made him 20, Bill. No, you. Was it $20 billion of fines? You said to grow up. Oh, oh, yeah. So that's the the other SEC news. Yeah. So this guy, he's he's their their enforcement director. So he has been overseeing all that just for the past three years, $20 billion in penalties, 1400 enforcement, 2400 enforcement action. So yes, that's three per day, like counting like every day, like weekends and holidays for for three years.
And that is a wild number. Like when you see it consolidated just a three-year period. You know, it made me think yesterday, it's like, This is why I actually, I was like looking into where does the SEC rank in U.S. government agencies in revenue? And it's like a top five revenue generator for the US government right now. I mean, $20 billion. Yeah. And that's just a lot's not disclosed. So it might be like top three. So this is and this is a driver of it, right?
This is why it's never going to stop. I hate to say that like, I'm not a fan of it, but like they they are building. The SEC is in the business of generating penalties and fines. So out of the out of, I have a question, out of the $20 billion in penalties across 2400 actions, how much of it has actually been recovered or is that $20 billion been fully recovered in terms of money? That's penalties like against institutions. Right. But the, the penalties have been
given, right. But that's what they've like, actually recovered $20 billion. There, there were some stats on the recovery. I think it was something, oh, there it is 1 billion. It ended up over 1 billion in awards. Wait, that's, that's awards to whistleblowers. So I actually don't know on recovery.
