So we are back above 60 K in the dance that will eventually kill us all. We have a bit more hope. Bitcoin is at 60 point 6K. Hallelujah. ETH is hanging out kind of where it was yesterday. Solana slightly underperforming. Yeah, just feels Chop City, not much going on. It's kind of crazy to see what

the timeline does. Every some time we move like $1000 at the moment, it's like the biggest thing that's ever happened. We're going straight to 70K or we're going straight to 40K. Chill out. It does feel as though macro is still having a very, very good period. It's been the longest winning streak for stocks in nine months, I think. So big, big week. Gold has also been ripping. It's been a quiet period for for macro.

Like we said, they're we're going to have a, we're going to have a the Jackson Hole conference this this week. And stocks have been rallying I think in anticipation that we might see some, some some rate cut implications. Generally people just getting more bullish and the dollar's actually been weakening quite substantially on the back of that. So the dollar's at the weakest point I think it's had in about seven months.

So that's also been the bullish, bullish case for Bitcoin and the bullish pay case for Yeah, look at that NVIDIA chart for. Me V shape. That's quite AV shape recovery, huh? What's the time frame? Three weeks less. Let me get that for you now it's this was the bottom was Monday, August 5th, not not even that's 15 days that here 15 days for 43% recovery. Yeah, So pretty, pretty wild. Recovery macro is all doing

really well. It's tough to see crypto go essentially lower in that environment, even though the timeline is telling you it's horrific. But Bitcoin did struggle above 60 K and we're kind of hanging out around that sort of level in terms of what people are are doing. We did have a bit of a bounce in in memes. We had Brett and Pepe both get a listing on upbeat. Interestingly, we've seen a few more listings from Binance and upbeat.

So people are getting a little bit more bullish on the on the listing cycle, let's say. But you saw some of the major memes all rally on the back of that. I think Nero on Ethos got a buy bit listing. And yeah, just a bunch of them, like the actual Tier 1 meme coins, the ones kind of above 500 million all rallied kind of 10 to 20%. And and some of the mid tier ones are up like 10 to let's say 30 or 40%. So a decent a decent move kind of across the board.

And meme coins, although obviously they've been a very weak period. So you look at those charts and then it kind of looks like a blip on what has been kind of a horrific move down. So a bit of a respite you've seen. Yeah, like I said, Bitcoin was leading Bitcoin dominance is kind of heading back up toward 58. K Sorry, 58%.

There was some news out overnight which kind of was known that the SEC had probably blocked the Solana ETF by the Chicago Board of Exchange. I think it's kind of clear that we'll the only way that kind of Solana gets an ETF or the most probable way is via like a Trump presidency, in which case Gary

Gentler is not there. So that being said, there was some loosely, I wouldn't say debunked, but let's say overly reported headlines that he could be in the he could be in line to be the Treasury Secretary. Obviously it was written by very right wing or a right leaning publication, which also has some sort of ties to crypto, it seems.

So maybe it wasn't wasn't the the best piece of information, but that got a lot of headlines, even though there wasn't really much much to say there in terms of where like shit Corning seems to be happening. Tell them into another billion dollars on Tron Tron people are seemingly moving over to Tron and they're shit coining. You've seen Sundog has hit 160 million, which is I believe the number one meme coin on on Tron. There was there is talk about them delisting coins.

So any coin that like relates to China over CCP that is instantly delisting and you can't trade it. Like if you bought that coin, it's just like untradable, which is kind of wild. So be careful if you're moving over there. But it does feel as though that's where people are are getting involved. Tron's obviously bounced off the back of that too. And you've seen, yeah, like a lot of memes on their moves. So a lot of people who were on the pumped up fund streets have

immediately moved over there. My man on the ground who who has been trading who gave me the inside scoop on Justin Sons Turkey. He says it's a lot of them are China based memes. So like a lot of them are like memes that you if you're that that they try to kind of do it on on Solana and it never really worked out. Like a lot of those are like dominating the the Tron streets. It feels like. So get over there.

It feels like you're going to have to get a Tron wallet bridge over from Solana or ETH and then sun swap. I think is oh, what's the name of the platform again? I think you saw in back to Meme coins, you saw some headlines that Shaq might be done for his inflation in that in that NFT project Drift launched a prediction market.

What, Shaq? What? So like, you know that they were going after all these influences for shilling NFTS back in the day. Well, Shaq. Shaq's one may. May actually. Oh yeah, it. Might be. As Mando mentioned, we saw the SEC, they've got concerns of Solana being a security. They rejected the 19 B forms

before. Those are the ones required for the Solana ETS. So those are likely on hold or delayed. We saw $1 billion of Tether USDT minted on Tron in the past day as its new meme coin leader Sundog hits $160 million market cap. I think another meme, Sun Cat 10X as well. Tron up 8% on the day, up 17% on the week, and leading alts. In other news, we saw Bitwise acquire the ETC group. This enables them to expand into Europe.

So Bitwise going euro, we saw the Democratic National Committee they rolled out their official platform on Monday ahead of the DNC 91 page document, no mentions of crypto in the whole 91 page document. So that was that riled up some of CT before the the fake somewhat fake Gary Gensler headline went around. We don't really need to talk about that. The other news we saw drift protocol they introduced their prediction market bet they saw three $100,000 in action on the first day.

Some are already saying it's got more liquidity in the major markets than Polymarket does. So one to take a look at if you're in those streets and memes. Meme coin leaders were up 10 to 30% on the day and a big rebound we saw the pack moon team confirmed that the army roll out is happening today. Those army tokens will be

I think I think it they'll they'll be relevant for for many years and I think they could

So it was somewhat of a super cycle, but I guess what's the time frame for super cycle, right? Like we get a we got to speed up super cycle over six months. I don't know what I was saying.

I think for that to play out, you you need to be likely aligned with like the Kobe theory that the cycle hasn't

even started yet. It's like I think you'll need the momentum in the 2025 and 2026. I think certainly right now things are like the the theory isn't looking as good right now. Like, let's be honest, I think Amanda showed that the, the overall like mean coin token market cap and the chart does not look great. Like, like I'm not blinding myself to it, but it does seem like any time majors catch any kind of action, the memes are

popping back off. So I think there is some opium to be had that if if you see a sustained majors rally, that attention would come back to attention and liquidity would come back. So I think that's the that's the hopium case. I mean, you lay out a whole lot of logical points here, right? So it's hard to like just come out and just disagree with everything you're saying here. But I think that's the, that's the other side of this. Yeah, that makes sense. What about you, Amanda?

Do you believe in the mean coin super cycle? I think you can believe that meme coins are have overtaken NFTS for being like the easiest way to on board. And so whenever there's new money that comes into crypto, it immediately flows into into memes. And also a lot of that is out competed. Even old coins like why you buy into somebody else's VC coin where there was never any value for you anyway, like you just had terrible charts versus some stuff you can get into.

So I think meme coins have, they've become easier than NFTS in terms of onboarding and then I don't know if they have, they at least have a more lottery style feel to them than than altcoins, of which most of them just feel like they're down.

Only that being said, like I said to you, for the last two or three months, I've been very public about the fact that I felt like the what some of the worst rich reward in crypto was some of these large cat meme coins versus like anything that was trading above 500 million or even like 200 million.

I was like, this is really bad because I think a lot of people think they're in a blue chip meme coin and they don't realize that that the whole narrative around the space can get rugged and those things can just get decimated.

You know what I mean? Like I said, for a while I thought the best way to play meme coins was just playing ones, you know, much lower market cap and hoping for them to run up. But these coins which people were like, well, no, I'm in, I'm in this coin and that, you know, it's a multi, multi cycle coin and you know, people will come back into it and buy it. I think there's a really dangerous bags. There's a really, really dangerous bags and they have been for a while.

And that's why I just felt that the upside was the same as like Solana or Bitcoin and the downside was much worse. Now all we've had is just the downside. The others, Solana and Bitcoin are kind of the same like they haven't really moved. You've just seen those bean coins move a lot, lot lower and it's just difficult.

You go into go just hang out in one of the discord or the telegrams or groups of one of those coins right now, like everyone's hoping that the next person comes in to buy the coin and it's already it's already a high market cap like it's I just don't know who that person is for some of these coins. There are certain coins which I feel like are multi cycled. Like I do think that Pepe is a multi cycle coin. I do think that MOG has got a shot at it as well just because

of the culture that's brought. But I have a very high bar for that. I feel as though a lot of these are, a lot of those coins are just, they're very, very difficult now. I I disagree with the 50 million comment because I'm the type of guy that buys meme coin above ten $50,000,000 because I've seen it do well. Like that's why I bought my first brain lit and like think about it. Technically speaking, the first buyer was pretty good, right? Like I know.

Successful stashes you for you in general. I don't, I don't test it enough to do it, but like in general, I've bought only mean coins higher than like, I don't know, Yeah, I mean like I'm. Used to saying I don't think people are making money doing that. I mean, if you. Have to be disciplined. You have to have tight exits I think. Yeah, that, that's a good point. He shared the the PNL of daily close positions for the NFT run back from 2021 to 2023. And if you look at this chart, there's a full year where everyone closed with positive PNL like every day for a full year. This mean point cycle hasn't been this strong, right? Like it like this mean point cycle may have been like this

from what, December to April? So maybe we got like a 4A45 month period like this. What I thought about these two graphs is they weren't really comparing apples to apples like the other one that was compared for visit against was like how which percentage traders are profitable? And that's not really what this that ship. This is showing the overall PNL of the of NFT traders. The best thing to do here would be look at the day-to-day movement in the total market cap of meme coins, right?

Then you get a sense of total PNL, let's say, right. And I don't know what that chart looks like, but I don't I think it actually would look relatively good. It wouldn't look like the it's not. You can't really compare that to a pie graph of overall PNL because. Sure. Arguably a lot of these have carrying value.

And, you know, yeah, the people aren't exited yet, but the there's I just don't know if that comparison was quite the the way that people were saying like, oh, everyone's made money for a first year and only 3% have made money or only a very small amount of people have made money this time. I don't think that's necessarily right. I think we need to see a day-to-day change in in the total mock cap of memes. That's, that's, that's very fair and I admit it. It's not.

It is little apples to oranges. I I was hoping I was working with Sam trying to get the the daily number like the actual numbers of those. It's a tough one. It's a tough one to find. All right. I think I, I think there is some, I think there is a some value to that comparison though, but it's obviously like really hard to what I, what I disagree with on the timeline is people saying that NFTS were just value extractive versus meme coins

ETH is hanging out kind of where it was yesterday. Solana slightly underperforming. Yeah, just feels Chop City, not much going on. It's kind of crazy to see what the timeline does. Every some time we move like $1000 at the moment, it's like the biggest thing that's ever happened.

We're going straight to 70K or we're going straight to 40K Chill out. It does feel as though macro is still having a very, very good period. It's been the longest winning streak for stocks in nine months. I think. So big, big week. Gold has also been ripping. It's been a quiet period for for macro. Like we said, they're going, we're going to have a, we're going to have a the Jackson Hole conference this this week.

And stocks have been rallying, I think in anticipation that we might see some, some, some rate cut implications. Generally people are just getting more bullish. And the dollar's actually been weakening quite substantially on the back of that. So the dollar's at the weakest point I think it's had in about seven months. So that's also been the bullish, bullish case for Bitcoin and the bullish case for yeah, look at that NVIDIA chart, no. VV Shape. That's quite AV shaped recovery,

huh? What's the time frame? Three weeks less. Let me get that for you now it's this was the bottom was Monday, August 5th, not not even that's 15 days that here 15 days for 43% recovery. Yeah. So pretty, pretty wild recovery macro is all doing really well. It's tough to see crypto go actually lower in that environment, even though the timeline is telling you it's horrific.

But Bitcoin did struggle above 60 K and we're kind of hanging out around that sort of level in terms of what people are are doing. We did have a bit of a bounce in in memes. We have Brett and Pepe both get listing on upbeat. Interesting. We've seen a few more listings from Binance and upbeat. So people are getting a little bit more bullish on the on the listing cycle, let's say, but you saw some of the major memes all rally on the back of that. I think Nero on it also got a

buy bit listing. And yeah, just a bunch of them like the actual Tier 1 meme coins, the ones kind of above 500 million all rallied kind of 10 to 20% And and some of the mid tier ones are up like 10 to let's say 30 or 40%. So a decent a decent move kind of across the board and meme coins, although obviously they've been a very weak period. So you look at those charts and they're it kind of looks like a blip on what has been kind of a horrific move down. So a bit of a respite you've seen.

Yeah. Like I said, Bitcoin was leading Bitcoin dominance is kind of heading back up toward 58 K Sorry, 58%. There was some news out overnight, which kind of was known that the SEC had probably blocked the Solana ETF by the Chicago Board of Exchange. I think it's kind of clear that we'll, the only way that kind of Solana gets an ETF or the most probable way is via like a Trump presidency, in which case Gary Gensler is not there.

So that being said, there was some loosely, I wouldn't say debunked, but let's say overly reported headlines that he could be in the he could be in line to be the Treasury Secretary. Obviously it was written by a very right wing or a right leaning publication, which also has some sort of ties to crypto

it seems. So maybe it wasn't wasn't the the best piece of information, but that got a lot of headlines even though there wasn't really much much to say there in terms of where like shit Corning seems to be happening. Tear them into another billion dollars on Tron. Tron people are seemingly moving over to Tron and they're shit Corning. You've seen Sundog has hit 160 million, which is I believe the number one meme coin on on Tron. There was there is talk about them delisting coins.

So any coin that like relates to yeah, China over CCP that is instantly delisting and you can't trade it. Like if you bought that coin, it's just like untradeable, which is kind of wild. So be careful if you're moving over there. But it does feel as though that's where people are are getting involved. Tron's obviously bounced off the back of that too. And you've seen yeah, like a lot of memes on their moves. So a lot of people who were on the pumped up fund streets have

immediately moved over there. My man on the ground who who has been trading, who gave me the inside scoop on Justin sons Turkey. He says it's a lot of them are China based memes. So like a lot of them are like memes that you if you're that they tried to kind of do it on on Solada and it never really worked out. Like a lot of those are like dominating the the Tron streets, it feels like. So get over there. It feels like you get to have to get a Tron wallet bridge over

I went through that then and I was just saying like, if you're a 2024 entrant, your NFTS are meme coins and that, you know, it's probably going to be the

same thing, right? What do you think? Do you believe in a meme coin super cycle, Tyler? Yes. I mean, I've, I've run spaces on the mean coin super cycle and my definition of it was I think 5 coins get to a billion dollars or we see five mean coins in the top ten, top twelve of all crypto tokens at some point in the cycle, multiple tokens get to a billion and you see like a

pretty solid pyramid. I think for that to play out, you, you need to be likely aligned with like the Kobe theory that this cycle hasn't even started yet. It's like I think you'll need the momentum into 2025 and 2026. I think certainly right now things are like the, the theory isn't looking as good right now. Like, let's be honest, I think Amanda showed that the, the overall like mean coin token market cap and the chart does not look great.

Like, like I'm not blinding myself to it, but it does seem like any time majors catch any kind of action, the memes are popping back off. So I think there is some hope, Ian, to be had that if you see a sustained majors rally, that attention would come back to attention and liquidity would come back. So I think that's the that's the hope Ian case. I mean, you lay out a whole lot

of logical points here, right? So it's hard to like just come out and just disagree with everything you're saying here. But I think that's the, that's the other side of this. Yeah, that makes sense. What about you, Amanda? Do you believe in the mean coin super cycle? I think you can believe that meme coins are have overtaken NFTS for being like the easiest way to on board. And so whenever there's new money that comes into crypto, it immediately flows into into memes.

And also a lot of that is outcompeted even old coins like why are you buying into somebody else's VC coin where there was never any value for you anyway? Like you just had terrible charts versus some stuff you can get into. So I think meme coins have they become easier than NFTS in terms of on boarding And then I don't know if they have, they at least have a more lottery style feel to them than than altcoins, of which most of them just feel like they're down.

Only that being said, like I said to you, for the last two or three months I've been very public about the fact that I felt like the what some of the worst risk reward in crypto was some of these large cap meme coins versus like anything that was trading above 500 million or even like 200 million.

I was like, this is really bad because I think a lot of people think they're in a blue chip meme coin and they don't realise that that the whole narrative around the space can get rugged and those things can just get decimated.

You know what I mean? Like I said, for a while I thought the best way to play meme coins was just playing ones, you know, much lower market cap and hoping for them to run up. But these coins, which people were like, well, no, I'm in, I'm in this coin and that, you know, it's a multi, multi cycle coin and you know, people will come back into it and buy it. I think there's a really

dangerous bags. There's a really, really dangerous bags and they happened for a while and that's why I just felt that the upside was the same as like Solana or Bitcoin and the downside was much worse. Now all we've had is just the downside. The others, Solana and Bitcoin are kind of the same like they haven't really moved. You've just seen those bean coins move a lot, lot lower and it's just difficult.

You go into go just hang out in one of the discord or the telegrams or groups of one of those coins right now, like everyone's hoping that the next person comes in to buy the coin and it's already it's already a high market cap like it's I just don't know who that person is for some of these coins. There are certain coins which I feel like are multi cycled. Like I do think that Pepe is a multi cycle coin. I do think that MOG has got a shot at it as well just because

of the culture that's brought. But I have a very high bar for that. I feel as though a lot of these are, a lot of those coins are just, they're very, very difficult now. I I disagree with the 50 million comment because I'm the type of guy that buys a meme coin above ten $50,000,000 because I've seen it do well. Like that's why I bought my first brain let and like think about it. Technically speaking, the first buyer was pretty good right? Like I know.

Successful stashes you for you in general. I don't, I don't test it enough to do it, but like in general, I've bought only mean coins higher than like, I don't know, Yeah, I mean like I'm. Used to saying I don't think people are making money doing that. I mean, if you. Have to be disciplined and you have to have tight accents, I think. Yeah, that's a good point. I do think we're in like the period of lower roller coaster loops. I think the question is, are we going to start getting bigger roller coaster loops in the future? It's from NT Stats Punk 9059. He shared the the PNL of daily close positions for the NFT run back from 2021 to 2023. And if you look at this chart, there's a full year where everyone closed with positive PNL like every day for a full year. This mean point cycle hasn't been this strong, right? Like it, like this mean point cycle may have been like this from what, December to April? So maybe we got like a 4A45 month period.

What I thought about these two graphs is they weren't really comparing apples to apples like the other one that was compared was it against was like ham which percentage traders are profitable and that's not really what this that ship. This is showing the overall PNL of the of NFT traders. The best thing to do here would be look at the day-to-day movement in the total market cap of meme coins, right? Then you get a sense of total PNL, let's say.

Right. And I don't know what that chart looks like, but I don't I think it actually would look relatively good. It wouldn't look like the it's not. You can't really compare that to a pie graph of overall PNL because. Sure. Arguably a lot of these have

carrying value. And, you know, yeah, the people aren't exited yet, but the there's I just don't know if that comparison was quite the the way that people were saying like, oh, everyone's made money for a first year and only 3% have made money or only a very small amount of people have made money this time. I don't think that's necessarily right. I think we need to see a day-to-day change in in the total mock cap of memes. That's, that's, that's very fair and I admit it.

It's not. It is little apples to oranges. I I was hoping I was working with Sam trying to get the the daily number like the actual numbers of. Those it's a tough one. It's a tough one to find though, right? I think I, I think there is some, I think there is a some value to that comparison though, but it's obviously like really hard to what I, what I disagree with on the timeline is people saying that NFTS were just value extractive versus meme coins because it's not true, right?

Like a lot of people were doing very well on NFTS and NFTS were actually bringing something different to the table.
