Yo-yo, yo, what up? Good morning, good morning. Check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check. I'm back. I'm so back yo-yo, yo-yo, what up, what up? Good morning, good morning, GMGM. What they say. Oh, of course it is. Monday, June 17th, 20244444. Definitely a lot of fours out there right now. Let me tell you all that another beautiful day to have a beautiful day. Another beautiful week to have a
beautiful week. Oh my God, the sun is shining in the South of France. I like how the Brits say South of France. That's why I say like that. It's like South of France, like France or France. Yeah, that sounds better. Anyways, I'm sorry for my shitty spotty Wi-Fi. I'm out of a hotel and I have to check into the new place, but it didn't let me check until 5:00 PM. So I'm kind of like in between
right now. That's why I'm hosting outside, not because I want to. I got my Co host in the house, Tyler Mando. Good morning lads. How you guys doing today? Awesome man, great weekend. What about you? Incredible weekend. A lot of pooling was done. A lot of I got, I got a lot of sun. I think I'm looking better on camera. You know, I got a little sunshine. My freckles are out, you know, kind of like the vibes. Tyler, how you doing? Good, great Father's Day weekend here in Chicago.
Weather was gorgeous and man, it's we're heating up. We're in the 90s now. So I think that's like 30, little, 30 Celsius for you Celsius folks out there. So we are in full time summer mode. Yeah, Freedom Units. Freedom Units is about 90. Freedom Units is about 30 Celsius, something like that. Like high 20s, high 20s, thirty. Mix it maximum, maybe. That's pretty nice. How was your Father's Day, Tyler? It was good. You know, we, we did all the summertime stuff.
We went to the pool, went to a concert Saturday night, had a a sitter, so actually got away from the kids and then we spent the, the whole day together yesterday. So it was. It was an awesome one. All right, all right, well, Mando, I would ask you how your Father's Day was, 'cause I think was it your first one, your second one, No second Father's Day. But the cleaner just got started. The vacuum in this room. Don't go to me. OK, We'll go to you after when the vacuum.
I love that. It's so funny from our to group chat. Anyways, man, you guys should see this view I'm looking at right now. It is absolutely splendid. I mean, I'm not going to move to my my laptop because I don't want to jeopardize the Wi-Fi. I'll post a video after, but it is it is quite nice out there. Anyways, they'll show to day today. What do we got? What do we got? What do we got? Market report as usual. Mendel came on and he was like, oh, oh, the burgers are selling.
I'm not opening a coin market cap because I can't. I don't want to mess with my Wi-Fi. But I don't think we're doing great. You know what? Maybe Mandel jinxed us because his Mandel menace this morning sent a notification that Bitcoin went under 60 Ki. Don't I? I wonder how many people read his. A lot of people I know read his like minutes first before even opening coin market cap. So I wonder how many people actually freaked out. It's one of those like coin
telegraphic intern moments. Yeah, so we had that going on. So we'll talk about the market, of course. And then and then of course, we'll go through Tyler's top 100. That's why I'm calling it right now. By the way, Tyler, Tyler's top 100. I think it's easier. You can have three, you can have 17. You're free. I think it makes it easier. But I'm sure we'll talk about ZK, maybe we'll talk a little bit about what's going on over the weekend.
But to me, it's kind of a mess. And then of course, I'm sure there's a lot of stuff to talk about between from doodles moving to base and in other news, bunch of people quitting the SEC, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. And then last but not least, last but not least, this show is powered by Moon Pay and fair side to buy crypto with PayPal, download the Moon Pay app. And then once you do that, get on fair site network on X wallet coverage for drains, scams and
more. Anyways, Anyways, anyways, without further ado, let's get right into it. Mando, do you think I can go to you? Yeah. You can go to me now. Do we have the? Do we have the jingles? We'll have the jingles live for tomorrow. We'll have the jingles ready tomorrow. OK, so I'm OK, so one more chance for me to sing him. He is the man Macro daddy of the land. Mando, can you dig it? GM So yeah, the market's not looking so good. I was just looking at it now and
seemingly we had an OK weekend. Most things were kind of bouncing back from a week Friday. And then this morning I opened up and everything was down about 5 to 10%, kind of across the board, really. Bitcoin dominance rising a lot of altcoins, particularly some of the low low current market cap, high FDV coins have been absolutely smashed and they continue to get absolutely smashed over the last week. So definitely a a weak period
there. We've broken through that 66 K resistance, which was a long well, not a long term, but it's been one of the key resistance levels for the last three months. The next major one was around 60 K that we've, we've continually bounced off, but we've kind of, we're kind of in no man's land here. You know what I'm you know what I mean? It definitely doesn't look as constructive as this, this ban that we've been in since middle of May.
And before that we were in it probably for a couple of months between February and and and April. We've kind of broken down to the lower bit of that. So kind of towards the levels that we had, you know, in the whole Iran, Israel thing was flaring up and we smashed down towards 60 K area. That's, that's what people are looking at here. Solana hit its lowest level in, in a, in a couple of months, that's down at 1143. And Heath, Heath actually held up slightly better.
There was some expectation that we would get a, we would get the ETF now relatively quickly. And that's, that was kind of made, made more optimistic on Friday. I think Gensler basically came out and indicated it would be at some point in the summer and then there were some small changes in the in the in the replies to the requests.
So it looks like we're going to get Bloomberg analysts said, I think July 2nd was that over under for the date about when we were going to get it And that caused Eve to rally Eve BTC to rally Eve sold to rally. And people are saying, you know, it's what we've debated really like is this going to be a sell the rumour by the news event now? Like is enough bad news priced in that we're going to have these outflows from Greyscale? It's definitely feeling more
more balanced, I would say. So, yeah, that feels relatively decent. So many altcoins not good. Dude, it's so crazy the weakness in altcoins this cycle, dude, like you'll have BTC puking like a couple points and all all coins will absolutely turbo nuke like 10. It's wild. We've been talking about this for a while. I feel like it's like the same music that's been playing all cycle, but it's it's pretty intense. But you're right.
We had some really good news for Ethereum, which I think came on Friday. Mando, if I'm not miss Friday evening, at least it was late night for me and you. It was that July 2nd, you know, just in time for my girl's birthday. This is perfect. You know, I'll be celebrating the three of chess and Vanessa's
birthday July 2nd. But you know, we, we got that news from Eric Bakunas. I believe that was the first to share it. And of course, Nick Grassi and everybody jumped on alongside every single participant in CT, including Tyler Mendell myself, which is awesome. And of course, everything puts I'm looking at price on my phone. Not being rude. I just can't load anything on my computer because so here I'm sharing my screen. But you know, we have a bit
quite a 60. We lost him. 53 the French Wi-Fi got it. No, not doing so quick it seems. Have I lost my Wi-Fi? Definitely not the best WI. Fi Mando, you want to come back at me now? That's what. You want to come back at me when I'm not sure? Oh, oh, for sure. You know what we are, I'm going to avoid talking too much. I'm just going to throw questions. Amanda, I want to ask you because we, you, me and OV have talked a lot over the weekend about the market.
It what's your, what's your, the update for you on the on your on your outlook on the market and on Solana specifically because I'm seeing a ton of fun at the timeline. I mean I sent you a bunch of tweets but like everybody, their mothers is fudding Solana right now but. Why are they fudding it? Meme coins, apparently meme coins, of course the celebrity stuff, but also saying that like the supply is increasing too fast. I feel like I feel like that is Solana at all to me.
That makes me the the volumes going through Solana are like incredibly bullish to me. So I don't get bearish on the back of of of that at all. Like for me, I think that Solana's like it's the fast, quick chain fast, that's right, the fast you can handle lots of different tickets, right? So for me, like it just that does. It's just proving that it's the place that that's been done this cycle. I think people are just getting, they're just searching for narratives that's genuine.
I think they are. And right now Ether's got this narrative now into the ETF and it's inflows. And then Solana's is more, let's be honest, it's more CT trading like it's more people are here day in, day out. And the more and more frustrated they're getting, the more and they're just like turning on each other and trying to find an active. Solana's successive cycle is like, it's been unbelievable. And it continued like even last
week, it's been smashing. If if weekly volumes, it doesn't really matter, You know, if you didn't make money on a Solana meme on a celebrity meme coin. Like the fact that it's happening on Solana makes me incredibly bullish. I think the, the one thing that it is to note is that some of these FTX unlocks are now starting to happen from the discounted piece that was sold to Pantera and the SPV that was
formed. So there will be some supply there, which will be, you know, we're talking in the 10s of hundreds of millions to start. But overall it'll be in the low billions that they they have to get out of, which is something like a tenth to or five to 10% of the supply of Solano will probably have to come out over the next four years. But like, we're not talking about not talking about anything absolutely insane here. But yeah, yeah, we'll start to see some of those on locks. Yeah.
I think it's just generally people being frustrated on the timeline, native cryptic people, people being frustrated on the timeline. And, and that's where a lot of like the, the activity's been happening. So they're kind of taking it out on that. But don't, you can't tell me that Solana's got a bearish thesis around it right now. Like I just, I just don't see what it is. I don't think there's a bearish
thesis about any of this stuff. I think it's it's literally just people fighting because we've been going sideways. It's interesting, right? I really like Bulb's comic today. I like them everyday, of course, but like today's was really funny, the one that you shared with your minutes. It's like, why is everybody fighting prices are going down? Why is everybody fighting prices
going up? I I forgot what it was, but I I do agree with you that like the timeline is not a reflection of the markets like people fighting in a micro niche on an app that actually most of the world is not using right. X nearly $2 trillion something good to know and that's important to follow me. Tyler, have you been have been following that and what what are your thoughts here? Yeah, the timeline was a little rough this week. I think that might be an understatement.
Basically everyone versus Ansome and the celebrity coin meta, that was the main topic because there wasn't really a whole lot of news. Hopefully we move past that because we actually have some big news here this morning and it feels like people are just kind of equating and some with Solana, they're mad at and some so now they're mad at Solana. None of it makes sense to me. It all, it all feels like total gibberish. It's only, I only view it as
bullish. This action is taking place on on Solana because it, it's easier to use. That's where folks are, are trained. That's where the action is. So I, I, I'm just, I'm just trying to ignore it and spend a little bit less time on the, on the, the Twitter timeline here this week because it was not good. It was not a great place for anyone to be this past weekend. No, dancing is not. Handsome quit, it looks like. What do you mean? Do you see he's taking some time?
He's taking a mental health break. Taking his time. I can't I I I'm trying not to share it at all. I have closed every app on my end he's. Basically said he's going to be on Telegram now he's going to stop tweeting. I mean didn't he say he's going to stop tweeting or tussle on all time highs and then came back? Yeah, but this time I think, look, to be fair, he said some wild shit over the weekend, right?
Basically called himself the best trader of all time and then called $8 million of of monthly P&L small fry essentially. And then and then decided to take a mental health break. I don't know, like, yeah, being the main character is, is what it is. It's a poison chalice. I think he he wanted to be the main character, though. I'm not sitting here being like, oh, you know, this guy, he he he was asking for it all times, right.
So to come back and then come back with those sort of comments I thought was pretty funny. But at the same time, because surely you know, that's going to, that's going to be like, fuck, people are going to come for that. I mean, they're done that right? Like I think, I think I have. You've heard me say that a lot, Mando on the show too.
But I think when you grow an audience, there's something that comes with it. And so I will never in my life feel bad about someone that, you know, like the, the, the, the, the, the darker side that comes with like growing audience. But like the upside of growing audience is immensely bigger than that. Like I've gone through that. Like last last cycle, I went from zero to 350,000 followers, maybe not in six months like Onsen did, but took 12 months.
And you know, we were some of the faces of that NFT boom. So not global CT. So his reach is bigger expected coins as it was mostly NFTS. And then the downside of it. I mean, you, you lived it with me, Mando. You were that guy that was by my side, kind of like helping me pick up the pieces and like, you know, remodel, you know, for Roque two point O here. But like so I I have trouble feeling bad, but at the same time, like I do feel for the
guy. Like sometimes this shit gets your head and, and it it beats you up when every single person on the timeline seems to like hate you and attack you and, and it does get to you and maybe you have a little little drink and then you lose your shit. Like that one time I lost my shit, a Poly on the timeline. I had to call a bunch of partners and team members and apologize to them, including you. So it's like, you know, I think, I think it does two sides to every story.
But you know, I do think he does need a break and go on a vacation, perhaps in the South. I've got a great hotel for him. But I, I feel like he he could have had this breaker a while back. Like I don't describe it, but like he had options to get out a few times when he kept on going off to the celebrity celebrity coins, right? Like it was like some of the comments were like, you have to go through me before you can launch coins. Like come on. Like you don't need to do that.
Like you really do not need to do that to yourself because I think that's that's causing like you can't gate. You just can't gatekeep this shit. And we've already spoken up this like Waka Flocka Flames, like, I don't know, he's a rapper. I remember from 15 years ago, he released a coin over the weekend and saw massive insider buying. And you know that like, people know that's going to happen. And you know that some people even want to bet on it anyway.
Like I just the gatekeeping and the the morality of it all. I just feel like awful pieces anyway. You just can't get yourself in the way of way of that. You're just going to get yourself hurt. So, yeah, the timeline gotten really aggressive, huge, really, really strong views, none of which I think are grounded in the reality of what's happening. Like Bitcoin is at 65 1/2 K, right? Is it 65 1/2 K?
You'd assume genuinely that we were at like, we were at 25 1/2 and we were fighting over the fact that, you know, we're never going to see another bull market. Like that's what it feels like right now. I think the reason why it feels particularly bad is because altcoin season has not happened this cycle and the VC coin cycle
hasn't happened either. Like most of these coins that people even invested in are just down only right, Like it's just like look at the gaming tokens, man, like it is which is where the majority of the investments happened in 2023. They were still going like it is horrific out there and even L twos, you know, like which were a lot of the other investments
happened. Like look at every single coin that is launched that tells you we haven't had new users come in and yet meme coins have done well and people are sitting there going like, oh, you know, like all the stuff I invested in or some of the tech stuff hasn't really worked out. And this just feels like a Bitcoin and and Ponzi game, which it kind of it it kind of is for a certain extent, but that's why I kind of feel like that's why people are hating on
each other. But Bitcoins a 62nd half K Solana's at 1:45 like it was a training at 15 just a few months ago, right? ETH ETH is, I think it's going to now, you know, be a bit more balanced into the ETF. Like there's just so much good stuff that's happened in crypto. It's it's absolutely worth how much good stuff is happening in crypto. The idea that we're going to suddenly fall out of bed and fall 50% or 40% just doesn't seem to align with the facts. It just seems to align with the
sentiment. It seems to align with how people are feeling rather than like what when you look objectively about what's going on, this has been an incredibly bullish period. And you probably will look back on this period in 10 years and be like, wow, that was such a bullish period for crypto. You know, like we'll look at the things that happened over that period. Like, wow, that was, that was really, really bullish.
So yeah, I, I, I don't see anything out there which which tells me we're going to be massively derailed. Yeah, no, I feel the same. And it's normal, right? Like there's also like, it's just, we've been talking. It's like it's the same conversation over and over again. Like in every group chat, I think consensus, everybody says the same thing as well. It's like we'll chop in summer and then we'll see what happens in the fall and it's over and over again.
It's normal. People just come at each other and attack each other. I think there's also a lot of, it's just, I woke up Friday and Saturday and I was like, wow, there's a lot of bad vibe, negative energy on the timelines. I'm going to like extract myself from the conversation. Personally speaking, I think a lot of people should probably take that advice and run with it because it's just like, it's just not worth it. Like there's so many things to do.
I mean, the second I read that $8 million is not enough to, to cash out, I actually want to cash out everything I have and, and show you guys that even a couple million is probably enough. You know, like I think if you spend enough time in the real world or have children like Tyler and Mando, you tend to realize that even $1,000,000, even Davis was saying even $30,000 is a lot. Have you seen this in one? Have you seen this headline, this SEC guy one? Yeah.
Is it, is it I? I do want to advise caution here 'cause I did see it. Is it real Tyler, do you know? Yeah, I mean, he posted it on his LinkedIn so that that is the source. So he he personally posted this message on his LinkedIn here this morning. So this is. David Birch. He's the head of the SE CS crypto assets and cyber unit. He resigned. He basically it was kind of a, a soft like resignation message says he's proud of their historic work. He's excited for some new
challenges. He's going to take some time off. You'll, you'll learn more about it here in the in the weeks to come. But he's taking some time off before his son goes off to college, it seems like. Hold on, this is real. Headline is the. Second-half of that headline. Is that is that real? I can't imagine. That true Finance Finance is reporting that he's joined pump dot fun. I got it off finance everywhere.
It's looking like it's real everywhere and everyone's gotten on to it. But that would be insane if the man who's been behind cyber security at the SEC for nine years has joined a shit concreation website. Like that's fucking. This can't be true. This can't be true. Why would Finance Report on it though, if it wasn't? I read his LinkedIn message several times. It's more he said like, you're not going to hear more of me for a while. It's like it was like the last line.
I mean, he didn't he didn't make like, why wouldn't he have just taken that opportunity to announce what his next move was? So I'm, I'm not believing this one until like we actually until a few more sources confirm. And that would be the one of the craziest headlines we could ever get. Hold on, hold on. That is insane. So just for the people that are not following, I'm sorry I can't share my screen everybody, but any of you, if you guys want to
share your screen is fine. So you had the the head of like something at at at at at the SEC, right? What's his name? He was the head of Ovi shared the headline this morning is the former SEC official, David Hirsch that that resigned from the SEC, which again is a big blow on the SEC side. So many people just resigning over there. It's like you won't even need to shut down the SEC. Everybody will quit before that. And then of course, there's now the rumors saying the pump fun
thing. I I highly, highly doubt that this is real. It seems like pump the fun is admitted to it not being real, but it's definitely a more entertaining timeline than the one that we were just talking about. Speaking of that, why don't we just segue Tyler into your top five and see what you got going on for us today? I'm really sorry. I'm reading Pumped Out Fun's Twitter post right now live. I'm just trying to figure out if this is real.
I think their their message is definitely tongue in cheek, right? Like whether they're talking about how he's their new head of training and how he's already launched like 100 coins himself. Though he usually jeets right after KOTH. Though none of this like that has to be fake. But yeah, we'll certainly see a massive headline if true. The other real headlines from this morning, we got the ZK AirDrop.
It's live. It opened at $0.25, which equates to about a $5.25 billion FTV, making a top 80 token by market cap. As it stands this morning, Layer 0 Next up is expected to come June 20th in what is now shaping up to be a massive AirDrop week. Along those lines, Photon a little bit of a curveball. They announced that their Stemis will go to the 300 top traders on their their protocol, their their app. The team did confirm after a little bit of pushback in the replies that a token is still
coming in their future. In meme coin news, this new meme Billy soared 20,000% overnight to $11 million after based 16 Z Shielded Finance replied to GM to the token. The the market ran off with that. So it's the the rocket of the day. And then for some breaking news this morning. Doodles are moving their studio from flow to base. It's going to be happening in mid-july to leverage bases, cheaper and faster transactions, and their community.
The the team noted that the Doodles community is largely in other places, notably Ethereum. They're also going to do a free mint on Zora to mark the occasion. So that's the the quick rundown there. So what do, what do we think of the ZK AirDrop guys? What do we think to that? And what does it mean for BLAST 'cause I think that's the, that's the main conversation I've seen on timeline is like, oh, ZK went that way. It's bullish BLAST. Like what do we think about
that? I think it's bullish BLAST. So I can start out with with a few of the staff. So it's 21 billion tokens, 56% of the of the tokens are going to community. The AirDrop was 17 1/2 percent of the supply. So that's 3.675 billion tokens. Of those about 89% are going to the users. So again, as of this morning, 5.2 billion FTV, the AirDrop is worth about $920 million. So quite the stimulus. The question is like what does this mean for BLAST?
So when looking at some of the the metrics from ZK ERA and BLAST, so ZK ERA is 36th in TBL with $120 million, Blast has 2.1 billion according to the D5 Llama data, ZK sync 18th in stables with $90,000,000 in stables. Blast has 430 million in stables. So about 5X that they are neck and neck and seven day trading volume both around 100 and 2000 and $30 million. But when you look at the TBL and some of the other metrics, I don't know, Blast seems way bigger.
It seems an order of magnitude bigger, I guess when you look at, you know, what are people doing in the market right now. I guess maybe it's just the cohort of folks that I'm in or working with, trading with in chats with people are using blast. I haven't heard anyone talk about ZK sync other than just purely AirDrop farming it in in quite some time. I guess you can make an argument that's what people are doing for Blast, but.
I mean, no, you see a lot of people in the trenches for blast, like I feel like we hear a lot about, I mean, they're really good at the whole like social farming and everything, right? There's a lot of social fight dabs and stuff on blast like fantasy top, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. So we talk about it a lot. And but for Zika for me, like the only instances of people using it I've heard is pudgy Penguins, right?
So as a pudgy Penguin holder eligible for 8721 DK tokens, which Chad Toluca Nets for that, which is awesome, but that's about it. It appears that the stuff broke this morning. So it's, it looks like it's not ready to claim per someone that we have here on the timeline. So I guess we'll we'll, we'll see what happens there. But I don't think I don't I I, I agree. I haven't seen that much activity in that sense. You can tell that Mando is deep in the trenches right now.
Trying to figure out if the pumped up fun uses real or fake. I think it's fake. I'm like 9. I reply with the duck account. Yeah, the the UK, I think news is, is, is positive for sure. I think, I think that probably puts blast in my six to seven sort of context. I still think that's kind of where we head at. Where is Hobbitron today? All right, well, I mean the the L twos are not trading good at all. But let's see what arbitrage is with me. What is it at makes? Sense Where's optimism?
87 cents Yeah, where's OP? So they haven't. This is the thing like alts are getting eviscerated right now. It is so wild out there, man. Like any Alts that I've owned, even in like the VC stuff we've done, it's down like 30% in a week. But it is fucking wild out there. But I do think this this puts Blast kind of comfortably in that sort of, yeah, five, five to seven region. It'll be interesting to see how ZK trades. Like, to me, the thing that
looks off here is ZK seems high. I don't know if you guys agree but like I agree ZK at 5 seems high versus R, but ape do you know what I mean? Yeah, I I think so. Yeah. That seems the thing that seems really off here rather than like, oh, this increases my valuations. It just makes me feel like if the number one L2 is at 88.7 billion market cap and then the number of whatever 30 is at is at 5, then that that just doesn't seem like the right the right valuation to me.
So I don't know maybe when, maybe when they open up the chain again, you could get a repricing. Think about the GK one is so many people are invested like all these, all these like D5 farmers and all these AirDrop farmers have been invested in this one going right for so long. I think it has this and that's probably the same with blast actually. It has this like 48 hour window where it can trade in many
different levels. But my guess is if we look at this thing in in a month's time, it's going to be materially lower than where it is right now. What? Do you think Tyler? I think it's hard to argue with that. I think I would, I would tend to agree. It does generally feel high from an FTV standpoint, the market cap at like 900 million, that seems a little bit more reasonable. So I think that's what also makes all this tricky is when you're looking at market caps
and and FTVS. But from a comparison standpoint, I would agree. And with respect to blast, like I do think Blast opens up higher, but then at the same time when you're comparing it, so it's going to be compared to Arbitron optimism if those are getting just annihilated this week and then perhaps next week. I mean, that's a bad backdrop it. Is so funny. One goal equals 3 anxieties and the depression. That's hilarious. I I did you see my back and forth? Wait.
One go ahead. One thing I would say ZK is ZK right whereas all the others I think are optimistic right star roll ups. Yes, optimally. Optimistic blast is OP is I'm wondering what is if there are any other ZK roll ups which have even launched. I don't know. I genuinely don't know. I think is Polygon Polygon arguably, but I don't even know how that works. Yeah, I know ZK part of its
chain. I think one of the basically what I'm trying to say is that the reason why it might trade higher is because it may be viewed as by different tech or at least slightly different deck to the others. Huh, that's interesting. What's crazy is someone just pointed out in the comments that wormhole opened at 16 billion. OK, open at 5:00. Yeah, that was. A crazy thing though, right? Like layer 0. I never sold the top like wormhole in my life. I never did that. I never did that.
I was so happy. Small size but I was like let's go. Bridges, Bridges opening at 16 billion is it's pretty tasty. Like oh wow. That is insane. Guys, like, that's why I sold, because I was talking to a friend and he was like, dude, you're talking to me about a $15 billion bridge. And I was like, yeah, OK, maybe you're right. It was. It was you. Sobi Naveen, like a bunch of people. Like, it was like a $10 billion bridge. Like, dude, like, come on. Like, you know, like what you
talk about, you know? Other AirDrop news, though. Tyler Photon. I mean I saw them getting ripped on the timeline but what appears to be like getting ripped for no reason? Like what was the TLDR? Oh, I don't know about that people. Are pissed, yeah, but it was for no reason Mendo. Like you like, it was like, Oh, no, they they. Everyone thought they were getting their drop, man, Everyone thought they were getting their pumped up fun
users. Come on like, sorry, Photon users, they're they're in it for a buck, right? They're all sitting there loot like, and they all thought they were suddenly getting some sort of stimmy like everyone, there was a lot of people who were trying to get high on that leaderboard going into it. So, so So what happened? There, Tyler. Yeah, so. I think it it started last week when when Photon announced that their Stemis would be coming soon. So they set the expectations pretty high.
Just yesterday Photon announced that their Stemis round one season one would be $500,000 distributed just to the top 300 traders on the Photon app on their leaderboard plus 1700 bonus winners with a round two coming soon. They got immediate backlash from crypto crypto Twitter from their users who were expecting this to be a actual AirDrop to their users. So that this actually got the team to come back on and reply and say hey, hey, hey, this is
not a replacement for the token. A token is in fact coming and they're going to do multiple rounds of these stemmies before to. To me it's just your classic bad coms not setting expectations appropriately. I think the program conceptually is just fine, like doing stimulus to your users ahead of an AirDrop to reward top traders. I think it's great, right?
It's, it's in the same vein of what's happening on on blast or any other incentive or points program where they got it wrong again, it's just maybe leading on their, their user base a little bit here. So got to be careful with that. And these teams, you got to have the, the FUD team, you have to have at least one guy who whenever you, when you have a com and you have a message that's going to go out, send it to your FUD guy first to say, OK, how, where can we like,
what's the fun angle on this? What? What could? Go wrong with this. I like none of these teams have this guy and it's probably the most important role you could have on your team. It's it's definitely more important than the the intern who might go off the rails. So. We have Bernie internally for stuff like that. You know, it's he's all right, he's all right. But usually Bernie Burn Dougler is is not bad.
The head of Fudd, but also the guy that's at the front lines receiving all the FUD to the face, just taking it in like a champ. So everybody, you're telling me, Tyler, everybody needs a burn dog there. That's great. Yeah, everybody needs a burn dog. Yeah, everybody. Everybody needs a burn dog, which is great.
No, but you're right. Listen, maybe it's in the way and Mando didn't make a point before he had to go like that is an audience that is their specific quickly for like the farming, right, because Forsworth it's a great tool. And I just saw their partnership with moon pay, by the way, which is awesome. And so they're actually probably one of the best tools right now that there is out there for
trading. But you know, obviously, like your audience is there for the for the for the specifically that as well, right. So it's like it's, it's something to, to, to, you know, I guess. Manda would know better than me. I, I thought, and I, I don't really use photons. I'm not like deep, like sniping new launches and, and I do, you know, fewer trades per week.
The people I know using, I thought they were using it because they liked it and it was a good app and it was an improvement on the, the different, on the infrastructure we had. So I guess that's what kind of threw me off a little bit. Like if, if you're using this because it's good, just a bonus that you're going to get rewarded on top of this. And I think it also just goes to
how entitled all of us are. And I might myself included in this that like if we don't get free money from these good apps that we've been using for a handful of weeks or months, we're we're ready to get the pitchforks out on a, you know, on a one, one minute notice. Yeah, I mean it. It doesn't help. That this weekend was like a very aggressive week on the timeline. So I think it's a mix of I think Tyler, it's like a mix of
everything, right. It's like this is like there are line mines out there right now on Twitter, like the whether if you're founder or someone with an audience, maybe try to like move carefully because anything you will say, well, it can be used against you. Yeah. And if you've got a new collab? With Anson ready to drop, maybe postpone that out, you know, a few days or a week, wait for him to come back. We're just about to announce.
Him as a Co host of FOMO hour fuck personal news I I. Drew his card in in in my reward deck on fancy top this morning and I'm just getting the news he's taking a mental health break. He was gonna he was gonna take me in the final. Tell it. Hurry up, I'm gonna have to now, I'm sure. Don't worry, he can't stay away from. Twitter. He's gonna come back. Yeah, he's, he'll be fine. Dude, I am. Cooking, by the way, I'm fantasy top. I finished top 300 in so many tournaments.
I've got another nearly 1000 Blast Gold over last week. Let's go keep starting. To rake it in, these next two weeks are going to be huge. I mean they've got like 2,000,000 gold to give out in 10 days. I'm raking it in. I've got 2000 gold so far. I've got 2000 gold so far. So if we follow 9059 statistics like that's, that's like over $10,000 in gold that I'm going to get from from fantasy top alone. Oh yes, I'm rich. Hopefully fantasy top cloud.
Is going to make us all rich yeah I'm doing around I've got like 3500 gold another 4 or 500 from the lotteries so we're going to keep playing we're going to keep trying to run it up I love that yeah I think I'm. Nearly at 4000 gold now, love to see it Gold opening at $30 just because I have 4003 thousand of it for sure. So 3763 gold? Let's fucking go, dude. That's good.
Most of it thanks to fantasy top and then last but not least, and then I think we can we can shut the showdown because my Wi-Fi is just so bad. But also I feel like we've gone around around the block pretty well. Base pretty good news for base, I guess on that front. Doodles moving on like what do you make of that? I think I don't see this being bad news. I think it's pretty good. Yeah, I think it's.
Good news for base. I think it's good news for Doodles. Well, I tell everything the team is building over at Doodles. The move on Flow was always just a little bit puzzling. Like other than Top Shot, we really hadn't seen a whole lot of action of building on Flow. And yes, you know, Top Shot was able to acquire perhaps more users than other apps. Maybe that was the upside, but it felt like it was just totally disjointed.
It was kind of breaking up their their ecosystem and now they're going to be able to bring it up a little bit more closely together, which seems like that was the driver, at least from the, the press release and decrypt had a nice article on it this morning. So shout out to the to the decrypt team, but it really seems like they're they wanted. There's the base, the doodles users are on ETH and then in base is ETH adjacent. It's a up and coming L2.
There is a growing economy, there's a growing user base on base. I think it it, it makes sense to have it the studio be over there compared to compared to flow. And you still have the cheap transactions, which is another hallmark of kind of what they need with the studio and with their future plans. And they're looking to build some momentum. I think their their shorts are coming or, or they're they're like theater debut and I forget
exactly the details on this. I need to to research it again, but it's coming out in September. So they're it's going to be a a bigger summer for for the doodles here. And I think this is one of the first steps. Yeah, good for them. I'm happy. Good people, you know, Austin, Julian, all friends, you know. So I think, I think it's a, it's a positive again, you know, it seems like everything around the theorem is probably going to heat up.
So it's like really good timing, you know, DTS are two weeks away, man Positive. Anyways, look, my Wi-Fi is really, really bad. Tyler, I'm sorry to all the listeners of the show, it's my fault. It's it's on me or on the French devs that wouldn't let me get the house before 5:00 PM. So let's you know what, fuck it, let's blame the French. Blame the French. I'm French. I can say that we're blaming the French. Speaking of French, France is
playing tonight at 9:00 PM Let's fucking go. 3:00 PM for you guys. So I can't wait for that. And Tyler, I will see you tomorrow, my friend. 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time for another episode of Film Hour on rock radio. Let's go.
