Yo-yo, yo. What up? What up? Good morning. Good morning, GMG. Friday. Oh, yeah. June 14th, 2024. Four. Four. Look at that. Another beautiful day to have a beautiful day. Your boy's back. Your boy's back. Like he never left baby. Your boy's back. They try to send me to jail, they try to take me down, they try to hack me, they try to lock my account. You got ex handing out my account to some strangers company, my identity. But we're definitely back and we're still back and I'm here.
We're my wonderful Co host who held it down yesterday. Tyler Mando, good morning. How you guys doing today? Doing great man, how are you? Fantastic. I know exactly where you're doing Great, Mando, because I woke up this morning in the South of France. And if this is your life every day, I want it. You wake up to like similar weather every day, right? Yeah, arguably better weather. You could say Portugal weather is slightly better I'd say in South France.
Just I'm, I'm looking on the left, I have a balcony that's overviewing the sea and I'm seeing feeling the breeze and it feels so good. Tyler, Tyler. I mean, you guys got beaches in Chicago too. I mean how you doing today? We're just here. This would be 70 and sunny. I'm feeling good today. We we got such a special guest today.
This may be the single most important interview that I've taken part in in my whole web three career here with what is the first ever Real housewife making an appearance on a crypto morning show. So I'm on cloud 9 here for Oak. We're gonna need the lore right 'cause like you're saying she's the first ever Real Housewife. Like, is she like actually like like So what's the what's the whole story with the Real Housewives Beverly Hills? Like give me some lore here.
It's an iconic Bravo franchise. I mean, I think it kind of kicked off the the whole just like reality series that we've seen over the last 10 to 15 years and the the Bravo fan base, like the shift to this. Yeah, style of show following, you know, not what aren't celebrities but more like normal people, but wealthy people, that folks. Would. See some insight into their lives and now there's There's been dozen spin offs and now like other shows downstream. Let's go, let's go mad though.
Was that a beer I saw? No, that is some iced tea. OK, I, I mean, I have a rose chili in the fridge, so if you want to go there, I mean, very happy to go there. It's might be a little early for Tyler, but but you know, I'm, I'm with you. I I got you if you want to go there. Some tea. Spill some tea with the the housewife here this morning, I think. That's oh, hell yeah. Oh hell yeah. I love that. Listen, that was the show today. Today we kind of, we kind of, we
kind of went there already. But we're going to have a really, really fun guest join us, Taylor. So we have Tyler and Taylor who are going to be on the show. You know the legend behind that that woman yells at cat meme. You'd love to see it. We've we've all been memed into it, I think and Tyler and myself the so you absolutely love to see that and my microphone keeps volume keeps going down. Sorry for that. Let me fix it again. Hopefully now it's locked anyways anyways, anyways, so
that's fixed. Let's hope it stays there and but before that before we get to to Taylor, who was already in the studio. Actually, I, I just saw her, I don't know if you guys can see it, but I could see it in the studio. So maybe we can let her know that that we're going to get to her in about 20 minutes or 30 minutes or something like that. But for that, of course, as usual, market report, whatever happened while I was gone, as soon as my account was suspended and hacked, the market
completely tanked. So I, I listen, is it a, is it a coincidence? Maybe maybe not, but we'll see. I have no idea what the price of crypto is right now, but I'm sure Mando does and can break it down for us. Obviously Tyler's top 100. I'm just going to call top 100 from there and you pick how many tops you want to have. Jesus, guys, my microphone today keeps lowering. I don't know what's going on. I'm trying to lock it, stop
moving. OK, so then then Tyler stop and then of course, Taylor so excited. Yeah, I'm red today because I've been in the sun, bro. I got where's yeah, I'm white, white. I'm a Persian, but I'm like a white Persian. So like I I get red, you know, anyways, and then and then I literally was at the pool came back up two days. I'm going back to the pool and then and then we have the robot
spins today. So make sure that you retreating the spaces, bottom right purple box, retweet the space and we'll see who we'll pick. But I, I, I have a feeling that we should let Taylor Armstrong like pick people today to come on show. We got to find a way for her to pick two winners and we're going to spin the wheel. If we win a crypto puck with Taylor today on the show, that would be balls to the wall. So we have all that. So make sure you follow FOMO hour.
Make sure you follow us and you know what, make sure you follow her too. Let's put that in there. Us, I mean from our sorry, I'm over the place from our Robert and Taylor. So he gets up anyways. Anyways, Anyways, I do not have the jiggles handy, but we will have the jiggles back on Monday. So Mando, let me go to you here for your market report. Who is the man Macro daddy of the land? Mando, can you dig it?
Yeah, we did that yesterday Sims, as she has an angelic voice and came in and did it for us. It's it's a little bit I I guess were we around this level again yesterday? We were, we've gone a little bit lower. So you had some good days to come through, which is PPI Yesterday stocks hit another all time high. They've they've hit all time
high four sessions in a row now. So definitely a good period here for macro and people are getting a little bit frustrated I think because crypto's crypto continues to kind of not react to what's been going on the macro and we're kind of heading
towards that. That lower band of recent support, which has been below sixties 66 K has been kind of a a consistent level 6066 1/2 really has been a consistent level where bitcoin's been bouncing off recently and we're kind of just hanging out above there. Eve slightly outperformed yesterday because it gens of the basically came out and said we will be getting ETTFS, but at least he'll be by the end of the summer. I think some people have thought that there may be some
gamesmanship there. He also refused still to call it a commodity. Sorry, Yeah, yeah, refused to call it a commodity yesterday when when when questioned, which I thought was kind of wild. So that is going ahead. You saw a slight performance of EP like I said, everything else continuing to not trade that well in alts in alts world. I think the telegram ecosystem is slightly outperforming con coin not coin, but all the other alts are not doing well.
I'll definitely flag gaming. Gaming has just been had a horrific week. I think most gaming coins are down 30 to 40%. I saw a decrypt article about it yesterday as well. But yeah it's definitely been a a pretty bad week for all the major gaming coins. I saw some even some spaces yesterday. Jonah is crypto gaming dead was the space that he hosted. Like it definitely feels as though questions are being asked. Was this is this the cycle for
for crypto gaming adoption? It's being I don't know, it's it's looking a little bit ugly I think out there even for like the top, top coins. Yeah, not not been pretty pretty, but that's a that's a an interesting one to read through in terms of meme coins we've still seen. I guess Tyler is going to go through that. But yeah, you've still seen a decent activity in some of the Solana meme coins had a bunch of people looking on board. So I still think meme coins have got the majority of the
attention. But all the other old coins are from maybe the TON ecosystem are doing relatively poorly today. Looks like stocks are heading slightly lower. I think everyone will be waiting to see if we go down when stocks go up and we go down even more when stocks go down. Let's see if we have a weekday in stocks today, we could get tested at that 66 level. We saw outflows in in into the ETF. It was just over 200 million.
So a decent, decent outflow figure, but nothing, nothing like monumental, but oh God. Uh oh. Who's is? Is that money calling? It's my dad again. My dad keeps calling at the same time. It's kind of wild. Dad, your dad should be watching the show. He shouldn't be. Calling No. I told him I was like Dad, I do the show every day at this time. Does your dad watch the show? No, he doesn't. He doesn't What? My dad's seen him in South of France too. He's he's he's like randomly
some judges. Tell your dad to come have a drink with me. Yeah, well, where are you? I'm in teoul sur Mer. OK, yeah, no, my dad, my dad's 20. Minutes out of can. My dad's a judge at some sort of television festival. Oh yeah, yeah, that it's in Monaco. So when I landed in in in Nice, there was a bunch of cars saying like Monte Carlo, Monaco, television thing. Festival and stuff. Yeah, dude, can your dad show some coins for us or something? Is your dad even showing the
epic duck? Like is he? Is he I? Don't know. I don't think he knows about the duck. I don't think I don't think he knows about much spice that goes on. We have a father son relationship, just you know, on a personal level we don't really chat business too much. I remember when I remember I was there with you in Paris when your dad found out about your ape sale. Oh yeah, and. He and. He found mainstream news that
was that was tough. I would put Mando at a party and and he just goes and I'm like, everything OK? He's like my father just found out about the board ape sale on the Internet. I thought. I thought that was so funny. Is your dad a DJ? No, right. But he's into broadcasting, so he should have a show on rock radio. Yeah, yeah, he's definitely into definitely the TV and
broadcasting. He's not really gone into crypto that much, but he, you know, he, he, he actually likes that there's like a that I've got into the media side of stuff. He's he sometimes gives advice about that. I love that, I love that. So he must be all in about what the guests we have on the show today. Speaking of television, you know, like you know, we have we have a big television deal here. So anyways, price wise, I mean that dude, that torn ecosystem is crazy, man.
Though, like seeing that problem today admits everything being down. It's pretty telling. Tonkorn now 9th in terms of of cryptocurrencies by market cap at the moment, Bitcoin is just slightly back to about 67 Ki mean if you ask me. I wasn't looking at prices. I wasn't there yesterday. I wasn't even on Twitter. It was really nice. It feels like I missed that whole like people like almost murdering each other when we were like really seriously dipping, but it seems like we're
somewhat doing better here. However, Solana and its ecosystem is not doing great with Solana 146 theorems hanging on a thread at 3500 and and the rest of it we will see. But what's for sure is that Mando remains bullish and therefore I remain very bullish as well. How can you be bearish? I don't know. Did you guys talk about that yesterday or should I go there or not? Tyler, did you? Guys or even more like there's three major like bullish headlines, like macro bullish headlines.
So we've got Gary Gensler saying the ETFs are gonna be approved by the end of the summer. Blackrock's CIO or the chief investment officer of their ETFs is saying that permit that permissionless blockchains have won. ETH has won for the the race to tokenization over the private permission blockchains. So it's a done deal. And then Paradigm raised 850 million that they finished it for their third crypto fund to invest in early stage crypto and
blockchain projects. So like these are huge headlines, but everyone is like the the sentiment is, is it feels like bear market, like last year, like bear market sentiment on this timeline, which is just wild. Yeah. Frustration. That's what it just feels like to me. It's just people are getting annoyed. This is good though, right? Isn't that where people start capitulating and like then you get that other aggressive leg up? I think so.
I think this is a good we're in a good spot for the market. Like genuinely, I, I like the only way we get out of our brains that goes on for this long, just like any other range in crypto is you people lose a little bit of hope. You know, suddenly people aren't as long and then you get that FOMO smashed through all time highs. I thought it would happen. Obviously this week I thought that would be the moment and just didn't happen. It wasn't to be. But yeah, I still think we're
heading there. OK, well that's that's interesting. There was also something else I forgot. Ah shit, you were talking about that. Ovi's post today I thought was really good. What was it? So today OSF put a post out that I think is worth for people reading. Here you go, let me pull it up for you guys. I thought it was really good sentiment wise. Also the hackers by default made
my Twitter black. So like usually it's like with my screen, like if my phone, my computer is like on light mode, on day it's light mode and now my computer's always by default on dark mode. So if you guys can fix that for me and let me know how to fix that, please please these motherfuckers fuck with my stuff and I hate it. Anyways, OSF put a good post this morning, this one similar on the back of what you were talking about.
You know what you're posting. Everything's at all time highs, Mando, but he kind of like expanded on that talking about, you know, crypto stuck in the mud with everything at highs and that, you know, he believes that, you know, there's going to be quite another. Yeah. You know what? I feel like he's been tapping into his inner, like, rider or something ever since he doesn't host a show. He's been writing so much. Yeah. Maybe he wants to pursue a
career in writing now. Maybe he wants to write for the crypt. I don't know. I should offer him an op-ed or something. Anyways, Tyler, let me go to you here. Mr. Tyler, I don't know your Jingle by heart yet. I promise you'll have it memorized. But I listened to Mendel's like 700 times so I know his, I know Ovi's yours. I think it's like for daily NFTS. Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah. Tyler on FOMO hour Bah Bah Bah rah. Ready to buy some pears? That's the.
Intro I needed I think the top. Story. It is fantastic the the the top story in meme and NFT news. It's roaring Kitty. So he exercised his GameStop options. He now has 9 million shares of the stock worth $260 million at close yesterday. Should be up a little bit more, I think the stocks up here this morning. I think to me, this this signals perhaps the end of this chapter of the GameStop saga. The GameStop GME token onslawn did respond. It fell about 15% below $100 million.
Another Solana adjacent meme news rapper Little Pump shared a now viral pic of himself with the Slana tattooed on his forehead. Many are calling it a top sign. The Little Pump coin jumped 360% to $6 million. One of the volume leaders on the day in Sled Meme meta news, Magic Eden. They're doing their part for the Sled Meme meta, saying they're going to integrate Iggy Azalea's mother token as a payment option within the Magic Eden platform thanks to Crossman. So that seemed notable in NFT
news. Web 3 gaming might be down. Don't tell that to Pirate Nation. The Pirate Nation token soared 100% after getting a day one base listing. Now the whopping $350 million FTV, so pretty high for a new web 3 gaming token. Fantasy top latest round of tournaments ended yesterday, 600 thousand blast gold distributed. They announced the next round for next week, 1,000,000 in gold.
So they are raising the stakes for next week and then in in board 8 News, a new banana bill proposal has been raised. Of course, that's the name in the eight coin Dow. They're asking for 100,000,008, that's $108 million to negotiate commercial agreements with partners to build on Ape Chain and then for user incentives to actually use Ape Chain. So we'll see how the boat goes on that new proposal.
Yeah. I mean, Speaking of, I mean, I do want to go to Pirate Nation actually first because we had the the Crypt article yesterday that they quite so knows about the gaming tokens. And Jonah's been yelling about this for a bit now about the meta and Mando, you touched on that this morning. But then you have the Pirate Nation news on Coinbase yesterday with the NF TS just like rallying on the back of that pretty intensely. That's on Arbitrum, by the way. Shout out to Arbitrum.
You know who I spelled it with? Arbitrum. Hell yeah. Anyways, thought that was cool. But I actually got to like kind of play the game and fuck around with the founders at GDC when I was stuck there for a night in San Francisco on the way to Hong Kong. That's a that was like pretty, that's pretty wild. Like the Coinbase news kind of came out of left field. Do you do you have more like information on that? I don't have a ton more. I don't.
I wasn't expecting it either. I think sentiment had been fairly negative the the day before, but I know the people who the folks on my timeline who have been deep in pirate nation, they've been incredibly bullish on it and that they weren't capitulating. You know, when we saw the red candle yesterday after the the token launch. And in fact, they're they're bull posting it and it seems like they're on the right side. So I'm not deep in this one.
I'll have to take a deeper look, but again, it seems like a huge outcome. Yeah, I mean, I mean, that's pretty massive. And then so, so roaring Kitty, talk to me about this for a minute now. So he's exercising his calls. What does that mean? And what does that mean for the future of the GME saga? I mean, it means like it's coming to an end of what, the
next week? Yeah. So the, the whole big part of this story and the timeline was going out till next Friday because he had the June 21st call options and he had like 12 million call options. That was, I want to say that that was the bigger chunk of his portfolio. The way it looks like it played out, he sold 2/3 of the options to exercise 1/3 because this was a pretty expensive deal. I think he ended up paying up like $65 million to acquire a $120 million position.
It bumped him up 4 million shares. He's now got 9 million shares, which I think is in line with what CEO Ryan Cohen had at peak. So it's a it's a meaningful number, but now he's just long the stock. So he, he's long 1/4 billion worth of, of GameStop stock. And now like that, this whole next Friday is the day the options is now gone. So like for me is, is this chapter of the story over? Like he's just long the stock. Like what's going to be the next news event to, to kind of rally
folks around GME? And, and because of that, it's making me wonder like, is the GME ticker on Solana? Is it done like what? What's going to keep driving that if there's not going to be any roaring Kitty action here in the near future? So I'm not holding any, but I don't know, it feels like a a little bit of a warning sign for those. Who aren't? Yeah, that makes perfect sense. And you mind though, what do you what do you think of that? What happens next?
Once you you exercise your calls, everything. I mean, he's pretty much done. He's just going to hold the stock and that's it. We spoke about it in, in, in quite a bit of detail yesterday, just they. Have. Like 4 billion of cash now or more actually, I looked at their deposition yesterday. It's basically nothing. So they just have a lot of money. I don't think who knows, you know, like the, the market gap is, is what 9 billion or something like that? What's the What's?
The money, there's 9 billion, actually probably a touch higher today. It is 10/10 billion now. Right. I mean, it could do a 2X, it could, it could go a lot higher, who knows, Who knows. Like, this is this, this is just a meme coin now, you know what I mean? It's a meme coin with utility. That's what I would say it is. It's like, it's like bonk like that. Yeah, that could go higher, Who knows? I don't think it's going to be as fun when it's like it doesn't have that big short base and
it's not. The way he did it this time I thought was pretty cool as in, you know, it came out of left field and caused a load of engagement. It's going to be difficult to, like, sustain that level of engagement. But he'll probably make a lot of money. He owns like 2200 and 50 million. Like that, That could easily do A2 XI think. OK. And to be clear, I I think the GME stock is going to do just fine. It's the but. The ticker I agree with you, the coin is less is less fun.
Yeah, I mean, exactly. The stock will do good, but there's that coin was like kind of following the hype train because meme coins are all mostly hype. I mean, we're about to talk about that in the second year. So it's a, it's a, it's a very important part of part of it. So I guess, I guess we'll see what, what happens on that front. And Tyler, I mean, I don't think I missed much, right? I think we can, we can kind of segue into, into, into a special guest that you brought for us.
Look at that Tyler, Tyler's third week on the show, right? Third four, something like that. I definitely feel like you've been with us for a year now. But Tyler's first like month on the show, let's call it that. Messages to FOMOR our group chat. It's like, guys, guys, should we get Taylor Armstrong on this show? Should we, should we be like, yeah, 'cause Tyler's in the weeds? Like Tyler, you know, he called to Zach Token early on the show and we didn't buy it and that
shit went like berserk. He's been following the whole like, celebrity meme corn meta or not meta for what, a minute? He is quite the degenerate himself, by the way. It's just for people. If in case you didn't know, Tyler is God damn it, this microphone's carrying me today. Tyler is quite, quite the D jet himself. I can attest to that. And and you know, he decided to bring on the quite the awesome guest today. I've been a fan. Tyler put put Wyack on our radar
on the show a few weeks ago. And now here we are with the with the with the creator herself. So Tyler, I'm gonna give this one to him. I'm gonna bring Taylor herself on the show. Taylor, good morning, good morning. How you doing? Hey guys, thank you so much for having me on. Thank you so much. For making it. Yeah, I don't get up this early for very many people, so. We appreciate it's early. It's early out on the West Coast, folks.
I, I've got to get the, the quick intro here for Taylor and then we'll get into our conversation about Taylor Armstrong. She's the first ever Real Housewife to appear on two franchises of the show, starting with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, then crossing over into the OC, now crossing into our world. She's venturing into crypto. So she is the woman behind the meme woman yelling at cat 100%. You know this meme, you will recognize it. She is the meme she's the dev.
The meme is the dev the dev is the meme. We are so excited to talk to you about it here this morning. And I mean Taylor, maybe we just dive right in maybe for for a quick starter background, maybe just kind of quickly tell us the story of the meme. You know how it all went down the. Meme Liz I I have actually been so surprised how long this has been around. So that scene was from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And in a prior scene, Camille Grammar had outed the fact that
I was being abused. And I was quite upset about the fact that that was about to go public. Hence the fact that I, when I wrote my book, it was called Hiding from Reality because I highly intended to keep that portion of my life off of reality television and out of the public for obvious reasons that I felt my life would be in danger if it did become public. And it was a very heavy moment
in that scene. I was saying you have no idea what you've done to me, which means exposing this could could really truly put my life in danger. So I was quite upset in the moment, but I don't want people
to look at it that way. However, I will say when I was listening the other day, I've been listening to a lot of spaces and thread guy was on and they were talking about world's colliding and I feel as though this is actually world's joining, allowing me to expose my my domestic violence mission to the crypto world into a new audience. It's bringing more light to that portion of my life. But over the years it's become really, it's been, it's such a fun journey watching people's creativity.
And even though that was a heavy moment, then it being paired with a cat, which still to this day, I'm really not exactly sure who came up with that concept, but the creativity behind it's been pretty insane. Yeah, I think one of the better parts of the the meme is that you can kind of put anything in the cat's chair to make it like this Evergreen meme where it's just this, you know, debate someone yelling at something they don't like. So like that. Some likes. Absolutely.
I mean, it is, it is the never ending meme. And so also I I love the fact that it happened organically and it just has lived sincerely since 2019. And I'm happy that it's so recognizable and bringing it into your world, into the crypto world, I believe has brought a
lot of attention to the space. And it's something that I've done a lot of research on and it wasn't, I didn't just jump right in. I have an incredible team around me. I've been following this space since the NFT days and was approached back then and wasn't really confident and wanted to know more. And this was felt like the right time.
And looking at what all these other incredible people have done in the space and just watching everyone and listening and learning has been really helpful in my confidence. And I also have have said on other platforms that I would love for the process to be simplified so that I can share it more with my audience. I think there's so many awesome
opportunities here. I've said, and perhaps I don't know if you would consider this to be a, an accurate example, but AI is a little bit, people are a little bit of afraid of AI in some ways, but AI is here to stay.
And I feel the same that crypto is here to stay and we, if we can simplify it for an audience of housewives fans and other celebrities fans and get them on boarded, I, I think that it's a great journey and that people can have a lot of opportunity and we can expand this entire market. That's very fair. It's still not that easy and and user friendly to, you know, to buy crypto, get a wallet ready, find the exchange and where to buy this.
So I'm with you there. Maybe on that note, you kind of went there a little bit. So like I'm very curious. So have you shared this project your your meme launch with the other housewives with with some of your your friends in in the Bravo sphere? And I'm curious what they think about all this. Right. Yeah, of course. Well, we're all. Good friends, I love that. Each other, so and we follow each other of course on all of the socials and they're familiar. And I was hanging out with a lot
of the girls the other evening. I was at a Mark Wahlberg opened a new restaurant and we were all there together and they're like, what's going on? And so I'm definitely sharing it and I have some collaborators on my team, team that are working to create some easier step by step processes that I can share with my friends and with my audience to, as you said, make it a little bit more simplified to follow the steps and to boost their confidence in getting involved.
All right. From from the buying end or do we think from the launching end? I do. Are we going to have more housewife tokens perhaps coming here in the? He's fishing, he's fishing. I have no idea. I mean I am the meme queen so I don't know. Let's go, I have the meme queen. I love that Tyler. I love it. You'll have to have a conversation with with Iggy Azalea about that. That's important times, I think. Well, I, I believe that she's going to go and watch what
happens live soon. So you want to talk about worlds converging and joining the lighting and everything else. You know, she's she's going to go be on with my boss, Andy Cohen. That is going to be appointment viewing for me and for a minute across the the mean coin space. I'm curious, have you been following like the Iggy Azalea mother token, what she's been doing with that 'cause it is kind of right in this neck of the woods? Of course, of course I watch everything.
I mean, she's she's definitely a guiding light for me and I watch everything she does and I know that she's so heavily involved and I'm, I'm definitely a huge fan. Also just listening to so many of the founders and people that have been around for so long and some and dread guy. And you know, I try to, I mean, of course I tune into you guys too and, and learning from the experts.
And you know, I think one of the biggest challenges is figuring out in the beginning who I could and couldn't trust. Someone was saying, I believe it was on Threadguide the other day that they were talking about people who celebrities who have had people reach out to their agents. And that has has happened to me in the past where they've reached out directly to my agents and my agents forward me things. And then I of course don't know.
And so I forward it to people that I know are in the space and try to gain confidence. But really, knowing who to trust is another big piece that we can all use your help in knowing who are the scammers in the industry?
Frog that's an interesting one. So I feel like that is one of the the bigger problems, like if this celeb meta is going to continue and like we're going to have bad actors certainly reach out and and try to help launch and like we we've seen it with Sahil already, but you know who's building this? That's exactly who I was. Talking about. No, no kidding. I mean, I kind of want to riff.
I know you. I know you have a few questions, Tyler, but I kind of riff off on that for a minute here, Taylor. And by the way, Tyler, it's all Sandy Taylor. That was so funny. That's what kick started our relationship, though, So and I got the name correct on on the the the first time we talked about on the show. Who knows, maybe we wouldn't be here. That was the little domino that that needed to fall. So funny. Taylor, I'm talking on our show here this morning. Dude that was so funny.
Like this reply here, like Tyler here, caller call, obviously Taylor Sandy by mistake on the show and then your reply with demeanors don't call me Sandy here had me wheezing. Honestly, it is so fucking funny, but you know, I want to ask you to riff off on that. So like, how was it for you to like try and enter the because you're still here, which is awesome. Obviously would love to see you like stay here longer. And obviously it's you're doing
pretty well so far. Like how was that like friction to enter like the space? Because we are, you know, for industry that is trying to kind of promote freedom to transact and ownership and everything. We're pretty gatekeeping over here, right? It was the same thing for me, sure. It was same thing for Mando, whichever title where we joined the space. We're we just joined around 2021. But like what? What was it like for you and how do you feel about that? Do you feel more comfortable now
being in the industry? Absolutely, as as with anything, because I'm just heavily involved now and really paying attention and listening and learning. But I also have a great team around me and I would never have jumped into something like this without having a great knowledgeable base that I can, I can look to and throw questions to and make sure that I'm staying on on brand, but also
not getting myself. And you know, I the trust issue was really the biggest thing that I've found to be concerning is people reaching out to me and, you know, reaching out to me on X and not knowing if they are a trustworthy source. And I don't know, I feel like we need like a super blacklist or something so that people know who not to respond to. And you know, people ask me, oh, can you screenshot this? And just making sure that we know what is what is a trusted
source. Can I ask like because we've seen some even today, like we've seen celebrities come on and you're getting like rugs already of mean points like what?
How is it pitched to you? So when you got that, when it first, like I know obviously you've questioned around the space and obviously NFTS was pitched to you back in where it must have been 2021. But like, what is that e-mail that came in like, hey, do you want to launch a meme form or did you get that e-mail or did you look at it like independently? No, it came through relationships, definitely not through an e-mail. Yeah, these are people that I know that I've known for a very
long time. They were involved in, they've been involved in crypto and just had said this is this meme is so iconic and they know how important it is for me to spread the message of domestic violence. And this is a meme with a meaning. And that was a moment with a meaning. And that is why I'm here to stay. I definitely, it is my life's work to continue spreading the message of domestic abuse and how important it is for me to especially because my former husband, my abuser, committed
suicide. I feel as though my life was spared and I was left here. And part of part of the reason I feel as though I'm still here is because I'm not giving up on supporting domestic violence and helping victims and helping children and shelters and being in this space is opening up that voice even further. And that's another reason that part of this is going toward domestic violence shelters.
And I'm not a celebrity who's going to jump in and do something, especially with the cause and the legacy that I want to leave behind in my life and then just dump it away. It's it's here to stay. Wow, I, I, I have to say, I did not really know the meetings behind the meme until now. I mean, you, you kind of went on it earlier on the show, but it's really have a lot of respect for for everything you're doing.
Like putting yourself out there and embracing the beam is like, it's like almost like a next level of like mental fortitude, right? It's like, 'cause you're people are seeing it. We are seeing it from the other side. And you saw my face being on the cat and this and that we're seeing on the from the other side. Like, oh, this is just a funny meme. You know, housewives yelling at each other on TV, normal stuff, right People, you know, reality
TV and on your side. It's a whole different meaning of the what was happening at the moment on that meme that we all kind of like laugh about and in that sense. And so kind of what I ask you like you talk about your endeavors and like domestic violence, etcetera. Like are you kind of like linking both worlds with the token now and, and what your, your endeavors are? Is there like, is there a tie in with the two of them or that you want to maybe like push on the show?
Absolutely. There's a tie in. And first of all, I do a lot of public speaking, and this is giving me another platform to be able to do that and to spread the message. And as the meme grows, it only provides more access to different people to learn the story. But I also want to be clear that I it doesn't have an effect on me. I've told my story for years. All this happened to me in 2011.
Well, the abuse happened. My final, final blow to my face happened in 2011. And I have been doing public speaking since then. And when I tell the story now, it doesn't feel like my actual life anymore. It feels like I'm telling the story of someone else's life. But I share that story continuously. So for me, the meme has become just a fun adventure, watching people's creativity. And it's certainly I don't want anyone to think that it brings me any pain or sorrow.
It it truly brings me joy that it has been spread all over the place. We, we love to hear that and I think that that gives, there's multiple layers to this meeting, but we, we can just leave it at that. And that's one of the reasons why I wanted to have you on the show is I knew there was this deeper meaning.
You know, I, I've listened in on several of, of your spaces here so far, but I guess the, the question I haven't had a chance to ask yet is we are now 11 days in, I think the token launched on June 3rd. So like what, what does success look like for you? And like, how are you thinking about like managing this for the, for the lack of a better word, going forward? Because we've got a meme coin dev on stage with us here in Mando. It's a lot of work. Yeah, Mando's got his coin too.
You guys should collaborate. Let's do it. I'll scream at Mando. Yeah, woman yelling at Duck would be. Let's go who's who's getting? This. Oh my God, that is awesome. I, I think that going forward, I'm, I'm watching the trends, I'm listening, I'm learning, I'm here. I didn't jump into this to, you know, do some kind of a pump and dump. I'm just going to be here and, and keep learning and growing and be there for the community.
And hopefully the community is going to be there for me and we'll all support one another and just stay the course. Love to hear it. Have you given thoughts like a communications schedule along? When I was on the space, I want to say it was, it was Monday or perhaps it was last week, folks were telling you to to run like two spaces a week. I'll be honest, I thought that was too much. But I am curious, like have you given thought to it? Like are are you planning to do frequent?
Like of course, you're on our stage right now, which which we love. I think there's also a difference between being a guest on a show versus like consistently running your own spaces by. I'm curious if you've given much thought to that or or what that might look like. Currently I I have my own new show which is The Naked Truth with Taylor Armstrong, and so I film that on Mondays and Thursdays. And so currently I'm gonna plan to do spaces twice a week.
I'm doing one later today starting at noon Pacific Time, and then I'm also going to be on financial Fridays on CT 101, which is cannabis Top 101 on iheart today at 5:00. We filmed that yesterday. So I'm going to continue doing the media circuit and talking about it as frequently as possible and hopefully opening up a new audience that listens to me that may not have been comfortable in this space
previously. Well, that's what we need like we we don't need to to like your story is fantastic. I'm not sure here you. That's. Wild, I'm not sure is a lot like you have a you have an iconic meme. You can you can also just chill like the I think I think the meme can can has value in itself. I I wouldn't necessarily break your back. I think it's, I think it's, it's a really strong meme even in itself. Well, I'm open to anyone's suggestions.
I'm, I'm really here to listen and learn and and grow it in any way that that the experts are going to tell me how to go about it. If you think it's better that I just do it once a week, Listen, I'm right here. I'm your student. Teach me. Let's go, let's go. I love that this is this is cool. Like I feel like Tyler, like a lot of people are getting the opposite expectation as they probably had before you came on because we said you're coming on
the show, people. OK, a celebrity come on the show. No, we haven't really been interviewing anyone recently on FOMO hour. We kind of took a break from it and like, I'm leaving off here. Like, this is awesome. Like, this is really cool. I got team members as far as the rock radio hitting me up like, yo, this is really cool. Like, I just, I don't know. I think this is awesome. And it's true. You don't have to like, overdo it.
I think the meme is iconic. Like I had that photo of me with you yelling at me ready since a year. It's not. It wasn't made because, oh, you turned the space. Someone made that of me way back when. People kept blaming me for shit. They just made it because it was funny. And now you're here. And so it exists within the realm of an industry already. And you're just like doing your thing. And on top of that, you wear the spaces and the tour and this and that.
OK. Like, you know, I think, I think, I think this is this is super fun. The meme movement has been insane. I I checked into an Airbnb in Palm Springs and there it wasn't under my own name and there was meme art of me on the wall. And it felt extremely stalkerish, but it was just a mad coincidence. And you can buy all kinds of things. I had an artist do some incredible acrylics of the meme, and they hang in my studio where I film my show. And I mean, there's ugly
Christmas sweaters. There's all kinds of merch out there. And so I figure at this point, let's just get it into the crypto world and spread the word. We're all for it. I I'm curious, have you had any big surprises like or biggest surprise since you've been deep in this and and doing the spaces like had the crypto legions come across well? They come across badly. I'm just curious if the anything jumps out now that you're a few weeks in here.
I've I've had some private messages from some pretty good hitters. I appreciate. Of course, I can't name names, but I, I've been, I feel like I've been really welcomed and I appreciate that. And I hope that part of that is the humility and admitting that I am not an expert in this space. And I'm thankful to have people around me that are supporting me and also willing to answer questions that I have.
And it only increases the visibility of the space when I can speak intelligently about it and have people out there that are willing to answer questions for me to, you know, if we want to on board people who are normies, as you call us, we're going to have to teach about it. And sometimes it's better to come from a person who is not an expert, someone who's learning along with the other people that want to get involved. That's so true and I actually hear it from my wife a lot.
My wife is absolutely gonna watch this show. She never watches. This is the one that she's going to watch. Yes. Tells me you guys go let go. You guys are so deep in this that like as a beginner, like I don't know where to even start and like it kind of makes me not want to listen. So I actually, I really appreciate, you know, you bringing that perspective as a beginner and helping to to do some education here. So love to hear it.
Absolutely, that is awesome. The other the other platforms that, you know, just media from a media perspective being interviewed on different outlets that perhaps the crypto world doesn't normally touch. You know, I've been in communication with my teams about how to spread the word in normal media channels that we use for entertainment.
And if that is a positive influence on normies, to say this is more mainstream than you think and it's not something to be fearful of. It's something to dive into, learn about, and then consider that as an option for for going forward with your financial future. I love that. That's awesome. I mean, look, it's it's the bait is always like meme coins. We'll hope that's what we hope for.
And then they get involved in crypto and and are more interested in like what crypto has to to to bring right. And and you know, it's a lot of to do with freedom, like we talked about earlier, etcetera. So it's super important. So I think it's fun to have people kind of come and do it like you're doing it without the whole rocking part so that people actually generally get interested in what hopefully, hopefully you get interested in and what else there is in in
this industry, right. So that's awesome. Absolutely. And you know, it goes back to also with with domestic violence, you know, in that moment, a, a big part of domestic abuse is financial control. It is, it's one of the key factors and why people don't leave. And I believe that spreading the word to women especially that there are other options out there and ways for you to get involved in your own financial freedom is another important
component. And I appreciate that in the crypto space is educating women that you can do this from home. You can be a mom and be involved in crypto and not even if you don't have a a regular job and there are other options of things that you can do to get involved in your own financial freedom and financial success. Yeah, no, 100%.
That's super important. And and I love the message being sent here, Taylor, before we get into our daily giveaways, because we're about to give away quite a bit of money like we do every Friday. And for today's loot boxes, I actually perfect. I picked four female punks. So there's there's a chance for people who encrypt the punks here and they're four fire looking fan punks a bunch
alongside a bunch of my ladies. But can I want to ask you one last question is, is there anything you want to shout out while we have you here, you know, before you take off like anything really anything that you want to raise awareness to and what's next kind of question? I'm just so thankful to be welcomed into your community and for you to allow me to be on your show and just keep teaching us. Then I'll be listening and I'm here and I'm learning and you guys are awesome.
So thank you so much. And now I don't have FOMO. There you go. That that, that. That's the goal of the show. That's the goal of the show. You don't. You know everything to know without having the FOMO.
