You are paid 14 months of the year even though there's 12 months. Yeah. So you, I think you legally have to pay 13, but most play 14 and you get double pay in August and in December. So despite no one actually working in those months, basically you get a double pay. So and then you also have lunch covered as standards for like
you have to pay like a few EUR. I mean lunch is cheap here but like your your your your employer has to cover lunch so. That's that's interesting. Ever since Mando shared that in full March, I got my team members asking me to move the company to Portugal. There's also like no take away here in Portugal. So the concept if you like, and I know this from living like living in London and and New York. And I think I ate every single meal for breakfast and lunch at my desk.
Like you don't do that in Portugal. There's no, you don't take food back to the office. It's like they don't even do take away. Basically. No, they takes. An hour. They take a full hour or two off to eat right. Well, you can't. They do have to live food services, but the idea of you even doing that would just be like, yeah, that's crazy. I mean, we know there's no Amazon there. We can't even get your new microphone even. Take away coffee is not like most people sit down and have
coffee. Interesting. The breaks are breaks. I I worked in Madrid for nine months in like Madrid banking and consulting and like lunch breaks for two, 2 1/2 hours. Yeah, no. It's not even your desk. It's a very euro lifestyle, Tyler, right? It's like, I feel like euro, euro, summer euro. I mean, it's the same thing in Greece, right? Something in most places we're not. We were in Portugal.
I remember most places being closed Mando and they would just open like 10:00 PM. So Spain is even more wild because Spain they have like the siesta. Portugal never gets as hot really. So they don't really have the siesta that Spain does. Spain gets like really hot. So they take like a they just sleep in the middle of the day. But yeah, like Portugal working hours, it gets done when it gets done. You know, it gets done when it gets done.
I think supposed to rank them. I would say that Greece is the most chilled out of the. Three reason why the economy is completely collapsed. Well, it's officially collapsed, but like everyone, just everyone just takes money for themselves. There's no tax. So yeah, like Greece I would say is the most relaxed. So kind of similar to the US where there's a different tax for short term versus long term. It turns out that it's not. It turns out that you're only taxed if you convert it back to Fiat. So. How you meant to like, make money? So whenever you exit, just wait a year and then you'll never be taxed. OK, so let me get this straight.
I can buy Solana? I bought Solana in November. Yeah. I move to Portugal, does it kick from the year of my buy or like let's say I moved to Portugal in September, I sell in November after the year anniversary of my. You'd have to show that you owned it for a year. That's easy though those transactions if. You then if you then moved out to Fiat basically. But then I'm I still have to Fiat and then I pay no taxes on that. Yeah. Oh my, do you have to be careful
with the wallets? You have to keep them always in the same wallet. If you move them around in your wallets, it starts again. No problem. So just don't touch them. 1/2. It did sell off after our show yesterday. It's kind of what I thought might happen, which is that we don't really, we never really break out of a range by gradually going higher. I, I don't know. I don't know. I'm not really that bearish. I'm not super, super bullish short term. I still think we could, we could touch the bottom of that range that we spoke about, you know, how's that? I mean, you've got another line on the chart there. It's a new line.
It's a new line. It's a new line, is it? It's it's a new line, but you see what's ironically, you want to laugh. I drew that line last Friday and I wake up this morning refresh and it looks like we're trusting it like. Yeah, I mean, I feel as though we could easily go down to 66 K and and giga Sen like that's 5%. Like everyone just chill out if that happens or yeah, even less than 5%. But yeah, I think, I think I would be unsurprised if that happens.
I'm not worried about the market in anywhere. We saw 2 billion of inflows into ETF last week. We've also seen stablecoin volumes, sorry, TV LS really start to pick up as well. So Mark looks healthy to me. There's the timeline just seems to be saying that would like everything's just going horrifically and I I don't really see it particularly for Bitcoin. Obviously other thing, all coins really do get hurt way more than Bitcoin on that move lower. But I think that's been going on
all year. And if you've been sitting here waiting for the altcoin season, I just, I don't know what to say. Like I feel like you should get out of that trade as quickly as possible. I think. I think for me, the, I have a very, very small group of altcoins, which I like. And the number one is Solana. And then, and then it's meme coins, which is still having an OK, OK period here.
I know Whiff's not doing that great, but let's be honest, it's had a crazy cycle and, and so is Pepe and all that sort of stuff. So there's the only places that I really take altcoin risk. But to me, it still feels like Bitcoin dominance could stay around the same sort of level even even as we go higher. So yeah, I'm sorry if it just feels as though a lot of particularly OG crypto is big in altcoins and it's getting badly
hurt. And and that's just, I don't know, that's what it feels like to me. They've just been holding on to some some bags which haven't. Been I have a question, Mando. Yeah, I have a question for you because you you spend a lot of time on a timeline and then I I could definitely ask Tyler the same question. Well, I just had a Deja vu. That's crazy. That's what I mean. It's just like there's just not a lot going on. You can tell when the timeline gets like that, that it's just you would, you know, you would assume that a ton is ton is going on and and not a lot is. I mean also are getting smoked right like across the board when you look at everything. I mean, what are we, what are we looking at here in terms of price action on because the majors are kind of unchanged, right? Solana's at 158, Etherium 3668, Bitcoin 669 four.
But if we go a little lower, I mean, Dogecoin hasn't really moved much in this year when you think about it, still 14 cents chain links, chain link's the one that's moved a lot this year. But besides that. No, I mean all coins, Yeah, it's been a fucking horrific. There's an arbitrary guy, right? Yeah. Arbit's at $0.95 so it's all the L twos, right? Right, Exactly. Yeah. So it's a lot of stuff that I think people either got. As like VCs or KOL rounds and last cycles who are like Oh my
God it's so horrific. And I. I just continue to think that like a lot of people, a lot of that crowd also I think missed this cycle. I really, I really, really think that. And I thought that for a for a while. I just feel as though they a lot of people just before we Giga started Giga sending they were really hoping for.
A pull back, yeah. Pull back because you just have to take yourself back to this time last year, you know, like people were saying, I'm going to put myself 40% in treasuries. I'm going to put like, I'm going to be put myself into like D5 boring stuff. And it really turned like that. If you remember this time last year. And then suddenly it just like gig ascent and then everyone was like, oh, coin season. And that's never really happened. And everyone started hating on
memes as they started to move. And then it was like, oh, no, that you guys are all going to get wrecked. And then they just kept going and then bitcoins kept going. And I just think people have really, some people have really fucked up this cycle. And I think now it's getting to the stage where they kind of, I don't know, they want it to be over. Well, they. Chased it too late and they they got pissed or something like that like this. This is the thing about crypto.
Like you missed those periods where it giga sends and if you fade any of those narratives during that period for your own bag bias, you can get absolutely destroyed even in bull markets. Interesting. Yeah, I mean, I think you're right. They were. They used to talk about missing the cycle. It was around when we were hovering around 30-40 K, right. Remember people are talking about a dip and then we just went to like 73 or something to all time high.
That was that period. So I know exactly what you're talking about. It was over in January when we were in Davos. Remember like it was like 30-40 K and people were talking about like a major nuke like 50% before spike up. But instead we just like kept
continuously pushing higher. So I remember exactly the time you're talking about and then exactly what you're talking about, 'cause it's true, a lot of the top, well, the top like the the biggest, like the bigger traders in the industry, we're talking about about being sidelined or missing a lug up. So naturally they're, they're praying for a downfall anyways. I mean, that's fair, right? And also doesn't help that memes
aren't doing so well. So if I'm looking, I mean, so well, you know, WIF is still a $2.66 billion token, Pepe slight dip to five billion 510 here. Mogga is hanging that that $400 million mark, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. And the duck is still going to a buck. So on the on the on the on the market side, Mando, it seems like this is this is about it. Like what do you what do you expect? I know you, you remain bullish.
We all remain bullish here. I saw OV tweet out about some numbers again, the biggest FOMC in the history of of FOM CS again and this week this. Week. This week is just an amazing week. You have CP, you have CPI on Wednesday and then you have PPR on Thursday. But you also have the Fed decision. the Fed is going to keep interest rates unchanged, but there is a lot of speculation that they could be more dovish because we've seen a bit of a slowdown in the
economy. So I think it's something like a 96% chance that they keep rates unchanged, but I would expect him to be the most dovish he's been in months. Yeah, what? So what does that mean for our bags? Normally that would mean they go higher, but you just never know. All right, well, let's let's hope for that. So we said big big this week.
So big week this week for us. Couch macro experts CPIFOMC Wednesday PPI Thursday What the feds decides to do on Wednesday could set the tone for meme coins until year end. Dave early dog with had investor. That made me cackle when I saw that. What do? You think I mean? It's a joke, but it's so true. Like we're all just, we're all forced to just be glued to these, to these fed meetings meetings now. And I mean, and he's right. Like the, the decisions made are impacting the risk market.
And like the meme coins are the furthest out on the risk curve. And like they're moving violently, you know, based on language used and tone used in these meetings that happen once a month. And it's I'm sure we're going to see some crazy volatility here this week. Yeah. Yeah, go ahead. It's. Yeah, fighting it. It's Oran, not Saltan. Saran Saltan, somebody. Else wait, what? I think the the bummer that I I started to come to realize that the the the Bitcoin ETF and it's all just del trades now. So like that used to be like the easiest tell like demand and like where we're going and now we just can no longer trust those numbers. It's just so it's. When does the ETF go live? Do we have any updates on that?
There's some that they are hoping to see some movement this week because they sent the amendments back, but there was some light speculation that could be delayed further. I know the Fox News reporter Eleanor Teret, she said that the the commentary from from Gensler last week made it sound like it could be a longer process than than as you thought.
But yeah, I guess what I'm trying to say is this guy trader CZ fucking the duck, Don Donald, like that crowd are back saying, you know, we go to zero like you guys will. And because they missed the whole, they missed big legs of this move up. I'm certain of it. I mean now they need without yeah, a lot of the people you're

I I mean, if you look at the actual demand for dollars over the last 12 months, it's been up only right up only there's been some talk about them trying to create their own currency, the bricks, but largely because of the euro's done very badly, dollar strength has actually only really continued so and gold, to be fair, and Bitcoin, but the yeah, it's, I don't know, man, like it's. It's ridiculous. Let's just.
Let's just, it's just this sort of shit, you know, it's like the sort of shit that you listen to in the bear market. It's like, oh, yeah. Like, oh, we're going to 00. Japan. Japan's about to default. Like all this stuff that we were talking about a week, two weeks ago, Like when this price goes sideways and someone comes up with some crazy theory about why Bitcoin needs to go lower. So boring. It's so it's all so boring.
You know what I did? I just felt I just watched the F1 this weekend, didn't worry about anything on the fucking timeline. Even GM this yesterday morning, but though I was dealing with my own shit at the airport, but still like I'm just like so like, you know what I did? I actually closed all price charts. I opened them for the first time this morning so that we could do the show because I have to show them on screen. I don't even give a shit anymore.
I like I'm just going to wait. I'm just going to TTPI. I've lost the most money in my life to getting chopped off. So you know, I'm on I'm on a self-inflicted trading rehab and it's been three months. The only thing I did was add to my WIF position last month or earlier this month and that's not doing the best but I don't care, you know?
I think you have to decide right now if you just want to hold your macro positions, then it's it might just be no screen summer and just log off and and go enjoy. But like the the meek coin market is very a lot. So like, I think you have to decide like, are you going to be in the trenches or are you just going to log off? And like just don't be like halfway in in between because that's probably the the worst zone to be in is just to be

That was my theory as. Well, but now I'm starting to get to like the second and third level thinking like, does it make more sense to actually fire your best decks in elite because the elite pool is going to be a little softer because of folks who think that with the big dogs. And so I think that the elite term is going to be incredibly difficult to win. You, you've got like the AI Revs, you've got like the OG general. These these guys are just piled in ETH like to build these
incredible decks. It's going to be very hard to beat them. But if you look at the rewards, you basically have to be top 20 in gold to match a top 100 finish in elite, so. It's like you've got more. Breathing room in the elite pool and there's a lot less entrance. So I mean that's what makes it interesting to me. I think the the wild card on the gold and the other attorneys is that they're * capped. So there's a little bit of the game theory based on like who you do have.
Like if you've got a really good stars capped line up with that 28 that you can fire in gold, I think it does make sense. So I am currently firing what is likely my best line up into gold and then I think I'm gonna fire still fairly hard into into elite. We didn't get the legendaries.
