It has not been the greatest few days for macro.
You did have a little bit of a pop in the NASDAQ yesterday just because Tesla was higher mainly and that was on the back of some some news that Donald Trump was going to focus on self driving regulation when he came into office, which people like the Tesla. Tesla is now trading at 340, which is kind of a wild move since the election. I think it was trading around 200 ish just before the election. Yeah, on October 23rd it was trading at 2:13. So big move there, but we have
seen that. We have seen that like the Russia, Ukraine, US situation is starting to heat up a little bit. So what happened there is Biden's been doing a few different things on his way out. Now, there's a bit of tip of tat here that launched a pretty large scale attack on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure
a few days ago. And if you don't know, Ukraine is very cold in the winter, unbelievably cold and largely looking to try and like destabilize it, really, really destroy it. In response to that, the US allowed Ukraine to fire US made rockets, missiles even into Russian territory. Now this is a big, big change. They have stopped them from doing it so far. And we see these are like Gen. 1 missiles that this and this morning the first of those missiles hit a Russian region.
Remember, Ukraine also currently holds very small area of Russian territory as like a tit for tat versus Russia. In response to that, there's been a lot of rhetoric coming from the US, coming from Putin around lowing the the the strike threshold for a nuclear attack and people just getting a little bit more worried about that, that this had been spoken about maybe 18 months ago. There was talk about like tactical nukes being used, that sort of stuff.
But yeah, basically Ukraine is now firing US rockets into Russia, and Russia in response, has said we are lowering our threshold for nuclear strike. So on the back of that, stocks are lower, particularly in Europe. Also in the US, they're not like that much lower, but they're lower. And some of the like the safe haven stuff is starting to bounce again. So gold's at a one week high. The dollar's strong, all this sort of stuff. So just don't be aware of it.
Feels as though we might see a little bit more of this from Biden on his way out. He's like he's doing a few things it seems. So let's see how that one that one develops. But you know, normally in this in in that war, it's largely ground to a stalemate over the winter because you don't really mount attacks on each other during the Ukrainian slash Russian winter.
So you only have a bit of a stalemate, but this is definitely an escalation kind of from from both sides and and kind of I don't know if it lays the groundwork for Trump in in any way. Like it's definitely, it's definitely heated up, let's say that that conflict. So yeah, a little bit of worry about that. Largely the big the big story away from that today is that it's NVIDIA earnings. It is a very quiet week for data this week, basically nothing major.
So it will just be in video earnings to see what see how well they've done. They always crush earnings. So let's see. Let's see. Yeah, yeah. Look, I think it can. I think it can keep going. Wow.
Pretty clearly it can keep going in my opinion, as can a lot of the Magnificent 7. You have the Black Rock ETF options that are coming out today. Finance launched a stable coin product at 20%. AP wise, they're calling it not a stable coin, but it is basically they're trying to say it's a stable coin.
It's actually very similar to, it's very similar to JLP or HLP. It's basically the liquidity token of their perp protocol. So you'll benefit from like liquidations and stuff. So interesting. And it does look like he is at least soliciting some advice from Brian Armstrong. I know Ryan Sulcus has been all over this one and he's got some concerns. I think one of the, so the early, the early winners, early leaders in this battle were, were both very crypto friendly. And now it's like there's a new candidate and I'm kind of
forgetting all their names. So we we might have to. I think Decrypt has an article on it. As well. Yeah, we have an article that was actually picked up by New York Times and Google yesterday like it was really, really big because of I forgot what it was. There it is. It's this one. Trump living away from pro Bitcoin picks for Treasury Secretary The issue appears to be personal drama of a development can nonetheless have a major impact on the Treasury's
digital asset outlook. So I don't, I don't really know. It's Scott. So Scott Bessent and Howard Lutnick were the the choices and I think they were both pretty crypto friendly. And now it looks like a new some of the new candidates he's talking with are like are like had like pro CBDC positions it. Looks like there's beef. The issues appear to primarily be interpersonal, according to
the report. Lutnick, who also runs Trump's transition team, has aggressively lobbied to have himself appointed to run the Treasury and has denigrated the sense fitness to occupy the position as a means to elevate his chances. It looks like looks like they're beefing. That's what's happening.

And this guy, Kevin Warsh now, who's a a new front runner potentially has previously praised CBD CS And there's there there's some concerns about what, what kind of policy they would enact, which is a problem, right? Because I mean, at least for CT, everyone was mega pro Trump as as good for crypto. And we're already saying that that might not be the case. But we we also it is a mixed day of news, right, Because we also saw Trump acquire crypto or looking to go.
So I think it it's it's probably a little too soon to to raise, you know, to get too concerned, but this choice is, is definitely going to be 1 to watch. Yeah, definitely, definitely want to watch the back stuff. I wanted to go over because it's very interesting. I mean, if there if this company's going to acquire like a crypto trading exchange and on the on the the word Liberty defy side, they're going to launch a, a, a, a stable coin.

crypto exchanges, right? So, so I absolutely love to see that. Anyways, the other news was Magic Eden. Magic Eden Boyd Logan wrote an article yesterday on the crypt. Of course, it was based on the whales market. I'd be worried wary of just following the whales market. Of course, we've seen how that's happened for us before. But the headline was nice was magic Eden traders set to receive $312 million worth of AirDrop of Emmy tokens and AirDrop.
Look, we don't have details on the on the diamonds yet. So tread lightly when it comes to like the headlines and stuff and the numbers being thrown around. But I mean, Carla, it's some good news. Really good news. So yesterday we got the official tokenomics from the Magic Eden Foundation of around the upcoming ME token AirDrop. A few quick details. 1 billion tokens overall. The initial AirDrop claim is going to be 12 1/2%, so 125 million tokens.
The community is going to get about 38% as well down the line. The team is basically keeping 50% for themselves and contributors and sharing 50% with the community over the next four years. So that's the split, 5050 split. We still don't know the details of the conversion of diamonds to tokens. That's the still the big question out there on everyone's mind. But the reason for some additional excitement and the splashy headlines here is the Emmy token did triple in the pre
market trading yesterday. It did go from about a dollar to $3.00. And of course, take this with a grain of salt. You know, we've seen where other tokens have traded and typically they've they've come out about 50 to 60% lower on actual markets than they have on pre markets. But still, I mean, even if that's the case, you'd still rather open 50 to 60% lower than $3 than $1.00. And there wasn't decent volume. It was like 200,000 in in trading volume on Wales.
So you know, at least a a bit of action yes in two 228,000 on the the day that was enough to move it up 180%. So that tokens trading at $2.90 pre market right now, which would be a $3 billion FTV. That's that's an interesting number that's a bit higher than I probably would have projected Magic King to come out. But I feel like I'm also anchored to these bear market air drops. And I guess we haven't really seen a a true or like bull
market AirDrop in a while. So and maybe this is one where you kind of throw some of the valuations and logic out the window a little bit. Maybe it's true. I mean, this is like FDV is back to being total meme, right? Like what do you think, Mind on this me AirDrop? Like could this be like the AirDrop like a la 2021, like something that just goes absolutely insane? We know they have big events coming up, so it's like I wonder
what's going to happen there. But what do you make of the magic eating AirDrop and everything on that in that sense? I'd like that team. Let's see what happens. I don't think it's not like NFT marketplaces are the hottest thing this cycle, but but I think it's it'll probably benefit people who've been in NFTS for a while. The best and I think the the real growth thing for them is the Rune slash ordinals ecosystem, which they kind of dominate.
So if they can get that more liquid, then I think people can get super bullish on it. It seems like they're they're looking to lean into more liquid token trade and some of the recent updates seem like more than just rooms like they they want to expand. So I think that's that's where you can get a little bit more potentially bullish on them. I agree. And I was looking at the the the metrics on TX. So here again this morning over the last six months, Magic Eden 56% market share.

But it was like, I don't think they created it in some way like it was not actually linked to the original team.
It was like more made as like almost like a fan token named after the the like they are trying to launch like various different protocols within AI and when the their main framework is going to be called Eliza. So someone created an Eliza coin, but it wasn't like theirs. So then they made their own one and they didn't give it to the investors of AI16Z or something like that. Anyway, AI16Z token like dropped 50%. Oh, actually you've done it. Yeah, yeah, this is it.
And then kind of both ones have now the like the original 1 dumped but then has rebounded back to like an all time high and then the new one has also run up. So it's kind. Of a little intense for me. Some wild action like I was scrambling to catch up this morning that V shape recovery on on the Eliza. So I think a few things are happening.
I think there was also perhaps the piece I'm missing is if they, if Shaw, so Shaw's the, the head of AI16Z and that token has kind of become one of the majors in the AI sector and it, and it's more of just the Dow. It's kind of like they're becoming a launchpad. They're they're, they're doing a whole lot of things. Any coin that Shaw would mention or the AI16Z would endorse would just instantly rocket. We saw them hit a new all time high yesterday at 500 million
before all this came out. And then it looks like he was just kind of frustrated with like either the V Baifu team and or the the Eliza token that got launched before. So they launched their own, their own ended up running to it ran up 75,000%, hit like 100 million, the OG crashed and then the new one rebounded. And now they're kind of fighting back. So it's become a very like PvP
situation. They did say they're going to AirDrop. They took a snapshot of the OG token holders and they're going to be gifting them I think 10% of the nude Balkan it it's messy. I don't like this stuff. The the from an AI 6 so I I bought the I'll I'll disclose. So I I bought I woke up and bought the AI16Z dip so I was there. I mean, this is great. Yesterday I was thinking about buying at 4:40 so when I woke up and saw it at 270 it it seemed like a a strong buy. This feels like fun.
They get past to me. I think the movement's still bigger. I think when it was Zero Bro though, right? Because Zero Bro on the same night announced its own AI agent protocol, right? So they swooped in and basically announced we're going to be doing an AI agent protocol, not not a Dow. Oh God. Launched their own thing which is similar. To the holy moly. And that hit nearly 500 million. Oh.

But it does feel like they're going to be upgrading it. He was like, this is only 10%. It does only 10% of the things that current models even allowed to be capable of because it's it's actually using the ChatGPT 2. It's not using the 4.0 model.
Oh wow yeah. So he said like even if we upgraded it tomorrow, like it would have massive, massively higher capabilities. But I think my main take away from it was like, it's actually more, I don't know the way that he's describing it, it's very human like, like even like he like Annie seems to be having like regular conversations with it. So and obviously it has its own inbuilt memory, which most AI don't, right? They don't, they don't really have any memory around them.
So it's weird, like the way it's more the main, main way, main take away from this is that Andy seems to be treating this like a you would treat a human. And it seems to be like acting like that.
