Part8. (Israel, Loved in Heaven, Hated in Hell) As we further pursue the principle of, “whatever God loves, satan hates and seeks to destroy.
In Luke chapter 19 we see Jesus entering Jerusalem and all the people welcoming Him as King, (vs 41-44) but Jesus weeps over the city because they did not recognise the proper time of the Coming of The Lord. John 1:10 is a concise description of theses events, Israel’s rejection of Him and the curse that comes upon the nation. Jesus knowing all the devastation that will take place in Jerusalem in the immediate future and beyond, weeps!
Israel had been blind to the proper order of events even though they had the Scriptures as a clear indication of the “times and seasons”.
