Episode 57 Then Christ Called Himself the Bridegroom

While eating at Levi's house, Jesus is questioned about why He and the disciples are feasting while John's disciples and the pharisees are fasting. And Christ's reply, is nothing short of amazing. "Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them?" (Mark 2:19) While the Pharisees were busy judging Jesus' dedication to God (because of his lack of fasting), Jesus was graciously letting them in on a huge secret: The Bridegroom has come! While feasting with sinners, Jesus calls himself the bridegroom. We're in Mark 2:18-22 today.
