An Interview with Danny Roberts from "The Real World Homecoming: New Orleans" (S2, EP 3)

Jamie welcomes Danny Roberts, one of the breakout cast members from both The Real World New Orleans and the more recent The Real World Homecoming: New Orleans, to discuss the deeper spiritual meaning of his journey as an unlikely reality TV star. Their conversation weaves through the last 22 years between both shows - including early experiences of being antagonized and abandoned by production, how The Real World played into his predestined dark night of the soul, the way in which Homecoming unwittingly became the reckoning between "old" vs "new" reality TV and, most important, how this latest project helped Danny reclaim his original experience in a way that coalesced deeper themes, patterns and lessons that he was meant to master in this lifetime.
