Garth Brooks was the undisputed king of music in the late 90s. Then he decided to become another person. At the heigh of Brooks' success, he suddenly disappeared from the public eye. In his place came a rock ringer named Chris Gaines - a guy who supposedly had been performing since the mid-80s and was a huge, multi-platinum rock ringer. However, he was actually just Garth Brooks in a weird emo wig. Brooks proceeded to release an entire album as Gaines - and even starred in an hour-long episode of Behind the Music about Gaines' life.
