Today, we're having our first discussion of our four part series about statistics with Dr Shannon Morrison. 

In this episode, we discuss the following topics:

  • types of data (quantitative vs qualitative)
  • descriptive statistics (measures of central tendency and measures of variability)
  • Central Limit Theorem
  • hypothesis testing
  • type I and type II error
  • p-values 
  • parametric and non-parametric tests for data analysis
