Today we are joined by special guest interviewee Dr Kar-Soon Lim, for a discussion regarding burns anaesthesia that spans two episodes.

Part one of our discussion addresses how burns are assessed, factors to consider when determining whether intubating a burns patient is appropriate, and IV fluid management in the first 24 hours. We also specifically discuss electrical burns and how they differ from other major burns.
