On April 18, 1974, 25-year-old Frank Carlson was in the dining room of his San Francisco home while his wife, 24-year-old Annette, slept upstairs in their bedroom. Annette was awoken by an intruder, who commenced to brutally murder Frank, before turning his sadistic attentions on Annette.
